I’ve been to print a few times in the past & was disappointed with my recent visit.
The food took a long time & when it arrived, it was cold. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 meals were sent back so we were unable to enjoy our meals at the same time.
Had a wonderful dinner at print!
Staff needs better training. Our cocktail server on the rooftop had no idea about cocktails. And our server for dinner will you know could not explain the menu properly, leaving us thoroughly confused
Went here for a colleagues birthday and it was such a great experience. The restaurant is lovely, Cat was our server and she was outstanding, although everyone who interacted with us had a great customer service approach and the food was phenomenal. Enjoyed a post dinner drink on the beautiful rooftop patio with stunning views. It made a birthday a special experience.
I love this place! It is in the perfect location and the Hotel is beautiful. The Decor is unique and modern and the bathrooms match and are clean. The Service is very friendly and on top of things. The food is out of this world. We went for brunch and had the Avocado toast, on sour dough with radishes, microgreens and a soft boiled egg (boiled to perfection) it was well seasoned and delicious. The fruit plate was beautiful and fresh, lots of citrus though, if your sensitive. The pastries are out of this world and well worth the calories, along with the Blue Latte, which has Blue Algae in it, it is cobalt blue mixed with the milk, it's like drinking delicious art! This is the second time that I have eaten here and it is better than ever. Coming back soon.
Great menu. The seasonal choices are delicious. This is great for romantic night with your significant other.
Off the beaten path from the Theatre District but well worth the walk. In the lobby of the Klimpton Hotel, Print is a cosy restaurant offering excellent food and pleasant service and surroundings. An interesting menu offering fresh ingredients in an inventive but simple style is top notch. The octopus and short rib dishes were stand outs. The menu includes items that can be built as appetizers, table sharers and entrees, which makes it especially good for groups of four or more. Highly recommend.
2nd time at Print. Dinner and now brunch. Food is delicious and atmosphere very relaxing plus good service. We definitely will go back
First seated for brunch but it took almost 30 minutes to get avocado toast and egg. Food was good, grapefruit juice seemed fresh squeezed. Lots of staff prepping for the day and service seemed like a secondary responsibility to prep/other conversations. If I hadn't had a credit from staying in the hotel I would have likely gone elsewhere. Convenient if you're in the hotel but not a destination on its own.
Lovely experience and I have always loved my dinning experience there! Have been a regular for at least 4 years!
Great farm to table off the beaten path. I had a great lunch there a few years back and sort of forgot about them as I don’t lunch much... but when looking for a place pre theater I decided to try dinner. It did not disappoint and will be a place to have dinner again... with or without theater.
My husband & I think of print as our go to restaurant as place for a special date in Manhattan . It never disappoints.
We have brought friends there and they tell us they have returned. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to dine.
Totally disappointed -
Food and service were exceptional.
Really good quality food and service. Quiet, sophisticated setting and service. We booked the restaurant to follow with the Press Lounge, which is the roof top bar. We had free cocktails as part of our deal which were ordered in advance of our arrival at the Press Lounge. We were escorted up and our drinks were ready and waiting. The views were jaw dropping and a perfect end to the best night we had in New York!
We brought our kids to the city for a long weekend and had to dine in close proximity to Broadway for the first two nights in order to make our shows on time. Even though the restaurants were good and kid friendly, they were both mad houses. We were hoping for a nice, relaxing meal on our last night. This restaurant was top-notch. The cheese plate, steak tartare and pasta dishes were superb! They also had an excellent wine list! It was quiet, kid friendly (though not kid themed any way...yay!) and delicious! It was the exact type of place we were looking for. Though they did not have a kids’ menu, the restaurant is in the bottom of a hotel and is used to having kids dine with them. Therefore, they had several off menu, “kid” items such as burgers and buttered noodles. Both of my kids say that their butter noodles were the best meal they had in NY 😂 We did bring iPads so we could enjoy our meal. Turned out perfect! We were excited to visit Press on the top floor, but it was 21+… But since my six-year-old made a friend at the hostess stand, we were able to go up and check out the view for a few minutes! Really pleased with our service and will definitely go back on future trips to the city!
Another great evening at Print. I’ve been coming since it opened and it just keeps getting better. The new menu and renovation have added even more to appreciate. Staff is fantastic and makes a regular evening a special occasion. We had the special tagliatelle pasta with squid ink and lobster and the kale salad and it was delicious! Make sure to have drinks on the roof afterwards!
Great service. Really liked their special where they lead us up to rooftop bar at end of meal for a complimentary drink. Smart move on their part because we discovered the rooftop bar and loved it.
Delicious farm-to-table restaurant located at the lobby of the Kimpton Ink48 Hotel. Very convenient since we were staying at the hotel already and it was nice to sit down for a nice new year's eve dinner. Highly recommend the breakfast + lunch menu as well. It's a little pricey but the food is yummy.
Complex food preparations
Great meal. Attentive, and not overbearing service. The meatballs and persimmon small plates were amazing.
Best service, meals were prepared beautiful and served hot. Drinks were generous pours. Will be back!
what a christmas lunch, everything was absolutely perfect:food, beverage, atmosphere thanks all
This restaurant NEVER disappoints! We love coming here every visit to NYC!! See you again next year!!
The restaurant was amazing. We entered at 7:55 and they had our table ready. The service was subdued and accommodating. We had four courses that were shared family style. The oysters and scallops were incredibly tender and fresh. The steak was amazing and the duck was some of the best i ever had. Desserts were diverse and enjoyable. If you don’t go overboard on the wine it should be a reasonable dinner out.
Went for Brunch started with the sweet trio which was outstanding. Eggs Benedict were good as well as the smoked salmon scramble. The hit was steak and eggs!
The choice of red meat they offered was exquisite. Very nice sommelier as well!
I really enjoyed the food and service at the restaurant! It was a little pricey for apps, and the drinks seemed pricey as well. I enjoyed my experience and would return if the opportunity was presented.
Print is an upscale dining experience that lives up to the hype of fine dining in a chic Manhattan location. The food was great and the server was attentive to our needs and time limits of heading to a show. The in house freshly made pasta dishes were quite delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Print, even if you aren’t a guest at The Kimpton Ink48, which was fabulous.
A modern, high quality restaurant, inside a hotel (which I didn’t realise when booking). Service was excellent; friendly and efficient and the food was excellent at reasonable prices, given the quality. A busy, fairly lively ambience but would happily book again.
A hidden gem in an unlikely neighborhood makes the food be a pure stand-out. Everything was fresh, distinctive and brought out flavors that were unexpected.
The food was excellent as was the service. The dinning section is close to the hotel bar so expect a certain level of background chatter but not excessive. If cost is a consideration you may want to skip drinks and desert but you would still have a great experience.
A short walk to the theatre district gives you to the opportunity to start digesting your meal. We saw a show at the Signature Theatre and I am already looking forward to the next time we attend so we can repeat our dinning experience.
This is a wonderful place to go if you want to spend some time without rushing. Our group were old friends and we were able to stay and enjoy each other
The service was great. The brunch excellent
Delicious appetizer (mussels) and fabulous sirloin entree with side sauce that friend described as crack! Scallops were a bit overdone but good sides. Wine $ typical nyc price, mini donuts for dessert were awesome. Attentive service but a bit noisy on a Friday night. Would go back again
A bit off the beaten path in Hell’s Kitchen, but still a walking distance from Times Square on a nice day, this gem does not disappoint. We first tried Print in 2014 and are still going back. We go out of our way to enjoy the wonderful food, service and ambiance. Can’t wait to go back!
I thought decor in the restaurant was very nice. In addition, most of the food was very good. However, one person in our party ordered the pork chop which was slightly over cooked. We ordered two of each of the salads offered for the table. The kale salad was excellent, the other was severely over peppered. Lastly, on the dessert menu they offer something they refer to as tiramisu it would be better labeled a chocolate mousse parfait. In my opinion if it had no ladyfingers than it is not tiramisu. Overall though it was a nice experience.
Go place to go before theater
Surprised by the quality of the ingredients. The meals were stunning, as well as the service. Prices absolutely in range. Top quality!
Great recommendations from our waiter!!! Gnocchi was amazing!!!!!
Love this restaurant. This is our 3rd visit. Food is fresh and different. We finally got up to the Press Lounge and loved that too!
