    We thought we were coming for the Thanksgiving buffet but somehow found out it had ended at 5 and our reservation was for 6. As a result, we were SO disappointed in food selection expected and spent a lot more than we anticipated.

    The thanksgiving dinner was simply not well executed. Good was okay but the ambiance was just slightly better than a cafeteria. Cut the price in half and it may have been worth it.

    I attended the Thanksgiving dinner. I did not think the price was comparable to the quality of the food, though, I enjoyed other meals at primrose.

    All of the food was excellent except the desserts. They were horrible. The staff, the service, the decor was wonderful. We will come again next year.

    My husband and I went to the Primrose for the Thanksgiving buffet. Our experience last year was outstanding but this year it was disappointing. It was a lot of little things that just added up -- food was not hot, the turkey was dry, the cocktail sauce for the shrimp was so hot my mouth was burning for a very long time, the wait staff brought our check just as we sat down to have our entrees, the desserts were significantly smaller than last year and the display was pretty pedestrian. We'll be looking elsewhere next year.

    We had our Thanksgiving meal here. Was not sure what to expect as we have not previously eaten out on Thanksgiving. Although pricey, it was worth it. The selections were numerous with options for our daughter in law who has a dairy intolerance. We would definitely recommend and will return should we be in Destin again on Thanksgiving.

    Our dinner at Primrose was outstanding, truly one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The fish was fresh and so tasty. All four of us were impressed with the quality of the food and inventiveness of the chef. And that hazelnut cheesecake? Amazing!

    I came in for sushi. The yellowtail sashimi was delicious as were the Primrose roll and rainbow roll. Everything was fresh. I recommend the pear upside down for dessert. Service was quick, the staff were friendly. It was an enjoyable experience.

    Not a premier restaurant though their pricing would have you think it is. We had a reservation for weeks prior and was seated at a bare table. Nothing! No tablecloth, table service, or salt and pepper. Nothing. My SEAFOOD chowder had mostly BACON in it and the $16.00 bowl was hardly 5 bites. So disappointing. No ambiance, nothing special. Would not recommend.

    We really enjoyed our dinner at Primrose. The food was delicious . We sat outside overlooking the pool and the weather was perfect. Our waiter was Luis ,I believe ,and he was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant and this resort to stay.

    An absolutely beautiful physical space. The food was good, with portions on the smaller side of average. The service was sub-par on every level. Our waiter was working several tables in the restaurant as well as serving in the sister restaurant adjacent. He got several orders incorrect. The gentleman at the table next to us eventually had to get up and get water refills himself (which he nicely offer to us as well). The dishes cleared from the table were stacked in bus bins piled near the entry door. The restrooms were out of towels despite it only being 8pm. This is a management fail. Sorry. At the 40-55 entrée price point, its just not worth it.

    Noise level? Lol too many people and children. Food was HORRIBle. My food was burnt and the rest well you can see the prices are way over priced. Management sucks and needs replaced. She didn’t care about our needs. The food has been replaced with garbage. The people next to us were saying how awful the food was also. Never again, save yourselves and go anywhere else!

    We arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation and were seated right away. We waited for 25 minutes and no wait person ever came to our table to acknowledge that we were there. I waved down a waitress from another area and she said she would find someone. Waited another 10 minutes and left as still no interest in servicing us. We went to a nearby restaurant and received great service and excellent meal.

    Excellent dining experience. My wife had the filet which was cooked to perfection. I had the blackened grouper, which was full of flavor. Our server was very attentive and sweet! The atmosphere is very nice....high end without feeling stuffy.

    Wonderful restaurant at the Henderson. We sat outside on porch bc weather was so nice. Not beachfront but upscale cozy place w beachy view & vibe. Food was excellent. We started w an extra dirty martini and the special smoked Manhattan. Cauliflower appetizer was very well done and tasty. Just enough kick. My wife had a tuna roll and I had the house special Cajun style grouper. We highly recommend both. Grouper is a moderate portion but very tasty. We were too full for dessert. Great service from the front door through out. Highly recommended.

    Dirty dinner plates from previous diners went stack up in a plastic bin right behind our table on the outside deck. Not a good thing to do in such a nice restaurant.

    Booked a special evening for my birthday. Spoke to the manager about vegetarian options for my significant other, that turned out pretty good. However we both ordered appetizers, hers came, mine never did. Turns out the waiter never ordered it. She was done with hers long before he ever realized it. A restaurant of this caliber should never make that mistake. Ruined my birthday. Food was great but service was terrible.

    This is a fantastic restaurant that would do well in any location. The staff is highly professional and a direct reflection of the leadership provided by their executive chef and management team. It is no surprise to see the Henderson Beach Resort ranked #1 in the state of Florida. Thank you to Tyler, Brad, and the entire team for a truly enjoyable evening!! We will see you again soon.

    I stayed a week in Destin. Although I stayed at a separate condo down the street along scenic highway 98 I ate here 4 times…it was that good! Every server I had was fantastic…special recognition to Jennifer! HIGHLY recommend the spicy pineapple margarita (MUST!), flo country grouper with shrimp/andouille risotto, wedge salad AND the beignets!!! I can’t wait to come back to Destin and eat here.

    The lighting was too harsh. It did not appear that management was doing anything to improve the lighting after guests complained. We normally have very good experiences at this restaurant, however this dining experience was not good.

    We came for couples dinner and sat next to a loud party of 10 realtors that just talked the whole time and celebrated I know they had a great time but we were unable to talk much 🙄 Food great. Smaller portions but chef is talented and menu was impressive.

    Primrose is our go to restaurant for special occasions. The quality of the food is excellent and consistent, presentation is exceptional, atmosphere is perfect for a quiet dining experience with family and friends and well worth the $. As a local in Destin, I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!

    Understandably a nice dining option for the snowbirds and locals, however, bigger portion sizes for both starter and desserts would be preferred. A few different options as the menu was quite limited. Overall fair experience and may return if in the area in the future.
