Food and service was good but not over the top. Restaurant trying to be to upscale for area.

It was our anniversary so we stayed at the Henderson and decided to dine at primrose. I had the filet ($44) and it was just a bad cut of meat. Maybe it was just that night. They did take it off my bill which I appreciate!! We had the pork belly for appetizer and it was not very good either. My husband had the fish and it had miso soup poured over it which made it interesting but not fabulous. The service was great and the actual restaurant is nice. I should have booked the melting pot as it is right down the street.

We did not tell them it was our anniversary.

Open space was louder than expected for high end hotel/resort restaurant. Good service, but limited menu. Food was good quality - enjoyed the sushi though it was heavy on the wasabi!

It was okay but a bit slow from the kitchen. I might go back. However, our server was attentive and enjoyable.

We chose Primrose for our anniversary dinner on our final night at the Henderson resort. It was all fabulous. Caesar salad was perfect and had the best croutons. We also enjoyed the crab cake and shrimp and grits. The best part was the strawberry tart we had for dessert. It was not too sweet and had a shortbread type crust. Yum. Definitely will be back!

Outstanding meal. Was blown away by the Hickory Smoked Pork Belly and Blackened Gulf Grouper.

The food was good, but not great. We were a little disappointed after reading the reviews. We probably won't dine there again when we visit the area again.

Birthday dinner with couples

Although the restaurant is casual dress, it has all the vibes of upscale dining. Excellent wine menu and food. We will be back.

Lovely night out with family of 4. We are on the patio because of COVID and the restaurant was accommodating and wonderful.

Very nice experience. Our server greeted me by name. I included in my reservation that we were celebrating my birthday and she immediately acknowledged it. We ate sushi, which was a bit of a wait, but it was delicious! The ambiance is what you expect from a hotel main dining restaurant, very open, a bit noisy, but still very enjoyable. Price is also what you expect from a high end resort, pricey, but since the quality of food was excellent, we were very satisfied! Coffee and dessert were outstanding as well!

They are doing a great job at Primrose. Food and service was excellent. They are also managing COVID-19 appropriately without compromising the experience.

Primrose is great dining experience for any occasion. The food was exceptional, the server was magnificent, and the ambience was delightful.

Honestly was quite the restaurant to take my wife to for Valentine’s Day. The wait staff was amazing, the complimentary valet was super nice a d the food was amazing. Highly recommend the steak there and the desserts.

Probably the best grouper or fish I’ve ever had. Good cocktails too.

Food and service both were very good. The young lady waiting on us was very attentive. Will definitely go back.

Our friends, Steve & Dolce, booked us at Henderson for our little honeymoon. For dinner, we decided to dine at primrose. Jennifer was amazing with all the recommendations. The chef and staff acknowledged that it was our honeymoon, so they brought us a delicious flourless chocolate cake at the end of our meal. Everything was magical. We glad we dined here for our special night. Thank you!

Seated immediately. Anastasia was excellent with service, suggestions from the menu and attention she gave us. The crispy cauliflower is a must!! Sushi was excellent. Will be back to enjoy another meal.

We had dinner here on December 12th 2020. It was fantastic. We had a sushi appetizer and grouper dinner. The service was excellent. After dinner we went out to the balcony. We were the only ones out there, and I asked my girlfriend to marry me. She said yes. It was a great night. We are considering getting married at The Henderson.
