At Primo we pride ourselves on delivering quality hand stretched pizza with a unique balance of classic and modern flavours. We use the best of the best flours for our secret dough recipe. Wherever possible, we source all our ingredients locally and have a strong relationship with suppliers to maintain quality of ingredients.
We also offer handmade pastas, a selection of smaller dishes to start off your meal as well as some balanced and tasty salads. Our wine list is fun and varied, our cocktail list created by some of the best in the industry and we are always at the ready to share the story of these with you.
Our service and restaurant design aims to provide a warm welcome, with a fun relaxed vibe and we are proud to be Westgarth's local pizza joint.

Westgarth station is a block behind Primo. There is also a tram line right out the front running the 86 tram line from the Docklands to Bundoora RMIT. If you get off the tram at Stop 27 we are located right near the stop.

Interesting menu but not too large and overwhelming. Super friendly staff and great ambience. Highly recommend for nights out with friends or young families.

Dined here the other night with a group of girls. The pizzas and salads were fantastic and great value for money. The staff were very helpful and attentive.

relaxed atmosphere and good food - went for my child's birthday and they really made an effort - gave her an ice cream with a candle on top!. great spot across from the cinema too - would recommend.

We enjoyed our meal. There was a bit too much cheese on the pizzas and the drinks service was really really slow. Would go back and maybe do pasta next time.

Gluten free bases were amazing! Best in Northcote by far! They were very busy on a Monday night and drinks came out very slow. Small eating area jam packed with people. I will use this as my local pizza joint but a bit busy and loud for me!

It was New Years' Day and they just didn't have enough kitchen staff to cater for the demand. We waited almost 2 hours for our meal, and even then, one of my mussels was bad / unopened and they didn't replace it or offer a discounted meal. The food was tasty; they just didn't plan well for the busy night.

Staff accommodated my request to seat a table for 2 in in a booth. Noted the special occasion and wished my partner a happy birthday. Food met expectations. Hopeful the next visit will be as fulfilling.
