OUTSTANDING in every detail! We could not have chosen a nicer place to enjoy a wonderful meal. All four of us enjoyed the salami plate and drinks before dinner arrived. I had the filet Mignon and a better steak I have never had... Cooked perfectly, med/rare, the potatoes were great and not soaked in garlic. Asparagus and carrots (I generally dislike cooked carrots) were perfect. The table bread and dips were the icing on the cake. Our drinks were all high end and fantastic. The owner, a very genuinely nice and fun man. The piano player was non-stop with absolutely wonderful music. We all ate every speck of our food that we didn't have room for dessert... Next time, we will be better prepared for dessert!

We have been to Primo, various times before, we've never had a bad experience. Food is on point usually, service great. This time, however was not good at all. From waiting 50 minutes past hour reservation time to the waiter really not attending to us. He came by to take our order and bring us drinks and at the end to give us a check. He didn't pour the wine we brought, nor did he check on us to see if we wanted more drinks or anything else. The food quality was a 2 out of 5 at best. Overall we were not happy about the service nor the food quality. We probably won't be going back sadly. Primo, you just lost two customers!

Absolutely gem! This place is delicious, welcoming and so fun. We had the best couples dinner/parents night out and the owner is so warm and incredibly kind. The staff is perfection and the food is truly fantastic featuring house made pasta.

The antipasto and salad portions seem small for the money, and we felt very rushed at each stage to finish our food. While it was great to see Lou and our entrees were great, some of the newer service staff has gone downhill a bit in some cases. We wanted a two hour plus birthday dinner, but we were forced to finish three courses, cocktails, and wine in just over an hour. Very dissatisfying after spending about $500 for five (brought in our wine and just paid corkage for one bottle) but purchased great cocktails there.

We went for a wine makers dinner. 4 courses paired w wine from Italy. Absolutely amazing! 2 of us went and sat with people we did not know and had a great time. Lovely experience. Highly recommend.

WE originally were seated 3 tables away from piano but requested to move to a quieter area. If you can sit in the back of resturant or the other room, I recommend this place. However if you're sitting near piano, you won't be able to hear the person on teh other side of your table. Service was excellent!

I used to love here. Nice foods, drink. Our server was nice as well. But our seat was horrible. It was my birthday and I informed it when I made a reservation. Our seat was next to the door so it was super cold. I’ve never expected some surprises from the restaurant but it was sad for me.

We haven’t been here for several years but enjoyed coming in the past so decided to have a friend’s birthday dinner here. We started with cocktails and calamari. The calamari wasn’t as crisp as we like it but the flavor was good. The bread was warm and wonderful. My lasagna was odd. The Cesar salad was way too fishy for us. Normally the anchovies are blended into the dressing but theirs had the (very fresh) fillet sitting on top of the salad which made it all taste fishy. Too much béchamel and very salty. Didn’t taste like lasagna. Other dishes were wonderful like the sea bass and osso bucco. I was disappointed they didn’t offer additional Parmesan cheese. Our server was very nice and attentive. Overall we probably won’t return.

Food was good. Pasta was the highlight. We ordered the scallops they were good but not worth the price. Not kid friendly as there are no booster seats and large televisions going on, which clashed with the ambience. The service was slow and not attentive. I’d be open to try again with no kids.

Took my family here for nice evening out. First time eating here. Enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant. The bar area was large and looked fully stocked. I ordered the mussels in tomato broth, delicious with lots of mussels. My daughter and wife enjoyed the ravioli and my son enjoyed the lasagna. Everything was very flavorful. We will definitely be back. We also enjoyed the live piano player, very talented!

Would have been nice if they had tablecloth for the table especially New Year’s Eve. The room needs updating. However, the food & service was very good.

This place used to be nice, but last night we dined in the annex where the odor emanating from the bathrooms was noticeable. The food was a mixed bag, appetizers and my wife’s dish were good, but my papardelle tasted like canned food. Not bad, but definitely not worth what I paid. My son was not enthusiastic about his risotto either. I guess covid has made it much harder for restaurants in general, as I’ve seen a decline in quality and increased prices in a lot of places. But the service was great, friendly staff. Still, at $250 for three people, it needs to better.

Listing "osso buco" (a traditionally cross-cut VEAL shank) and listing a lamb shank as Primo does in their "Ossobuco di Agnello" will lure in many to think they are paying for the former as I was. Why call it "Ossobuco" unless to mislead? Just be straight forward and call it a "Lamb shank di Agnello" and charge the $25 its worth instead of $38. Lively, but a bit loud. Decent but not great food.

The carpaccio, saltimbocca veal, orecchiette pasta with Italian sausage and broccolini were excellent. Pasta was al dente. The caprese salad was OK, but winter yellow tomatoes were not at their best. A restaurant that knows how to mix and serve a proper old fashioned, giving you the choice of rye or bourbon. Hurray! Wines by the glass provided excellent choices: the Frank Family Chardonnay was delicious (not too oaky) and so was the Bolgheri red. All in all, a great dining experience and we will return!
