Unfortunately, due to the California lockdown, the restaurant was closed. Which was fine but I was not notified about the reservations being cancelled so my wife and I walked into an empty restaurant on our anniversary dinner.

As always our experience was excellent. The food was great, ambiance was perfect, and service was above and beyond. Going here has never disappointed. It is a shame that they are shutting down in person dining again...thanks a lot Newsome. Once it returns, we will be back enjoying the food, service, and hopefully a little singing from the owner Lou!

Server was rude and dismissive. Food and drinks took longer than usual. Prices are a bit high. Overall, it was the customer service that was lacking.

Fabulous, fresh food as always! You get a taste of Italy at Primos from our waiter, to the wine and the food!

Last minute change from 4 to 8 guests and they were very accommodating. Server was not very attentive to our needs.

Food is fantastic. fresh homemade pasta that everyone really enjoyed.

We dined outside on the lower partio earlier this week. The tables were well spaced, with comfortable chairs, and heaters were abundant. The food, drinks, and service were exemplary. I don't see how anything could have been any better. Thanks for a very nice evening.

The food was really great. I had the seafood pasta special and it was delish. My nephew had the veal parmigiana and it was not only beautiful but a big portion and he loved it. Wine list had lots of options at various price points. We sat on the patio next to Hawthorne Blvd., so it was a little noisy but that's really not their fault due to Covid restrictions. I would definitely go back!

The lasagna is what I come for... the octopus starter is delicious. The chef makes amazing sauces, so flavorful. I love the outdoor experience during Covid- they’ve made it charming and perfect for date night.

Primo has adapted to outdoor seating very well. Nice tables, comfortable indoor chairs, swift service despite all the stairs, plenty of spacing, and nice and quiet. And the food is as good as ever.

Food and service were great as usual! Since we were outside, the ambiance was not like the wonderful ambiance inside. I hope the open up indoors soon.

The service was outstanding. Greeted with courteous verbiage by every service men we encountered. However, I was distracted by displeased guests, and loudly speaking guests in our purview.

The food was outstanding ... so many yummy choices on the menu. Loved the chopped salad an d lasagna was to die for ! The ricotta cheesecake was light and tasty . Great conversation with the owner . Looking forward when he can sing for the guests !!

Booked as an anniversary celebration. No recognition of that. Everything else fine other than that.

Let me tell you...this spot is 🔥🔥🔥. Outdoor dining space is very comfortable , the service was incredible, and the food was really genuinely fantastic. We ordered the special lamb chops, black truffle pasta, mussels, Caesar salad and calamari. 5 stars for all. Lamb chops were special. I will also say the the cocktails and wine list were top notch. Such a great experience, I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Didn’t honor reservation time. Host volunteered “We need to kick some people out to get you seated.”

Expensive menu - for rather ordinary meal with limited selections. Food was good buy not exceptional.

Bill included “Covid” charge which I’d never seen before. I asked was was told it was for PPE. Should have told in advance. In any event, that’s not a way to get customers.

Everything was great. The food, service, ambiance, setting. The only thing I didn’t like is we have a reservation at 7:30 and weren’t seated until 8:15.

The food is second to none in the South Bay! Little piece of Italy in our backyard. Always a great time at Lou’s.

Elegant cooking with a somewhat rustic menu(!). They have a nice patio area outside and inside is warm and classic. It appears they had live music preCOVID. Thoughtful wine list.
