Primebar - Wiregrass Ratings and Reviews
We went for the brunch, it was excellent. Great price and our server Anna was wonderful. The only thing I would suggest is to have more than one person behind the buffet making the waffles and carving the meats. He had his hands full. Overall a great day. Will certainly be going back!
We had dinner at the restaurant on Mother's Day. It was not very crowded and I soon learned why. The server was quite courteous and friendly. However, she was somewhat slow to take orders or clear the dirty dishes.
The appetizers were good - buffalo wings, hummus, and calamari.
The entrees arrived with the wrong ingredients on top of two salads (salmon and chicken were switched). The mistake was quickly fixed.
The desserts arrived missing the caramel topping that was described by the waitress. When it was brought to her attention, she went to the kitchen and returned to inform us that they had "run out" of caramel sauce earlier in the day. So, the kitchen staff was knowingly sending out plates with missing ingredients. However, "the manager" was going to make some now (at her insistence) and it was delivered to the table 5-10 minutes later. Of course, by now the dessert was already eaten by 5 of us sharing the dessert.
These were relatively minor issues. And I would have been happy to disregard all of these problems had there been some acknowledgement by the managerial staff. The most disappointing part of the experience was the lack of managerial involvement. Considering the problems that we had with the dinner, I expected a manager to present him/herself to the table, apologize and offer some sort of compensation. All of these issues made the evening less than stellar. For the price ($50/person), I expect better service and more consistent meal preparation. I won't be back to this restaurant any time soon. There are much better options within walking distance.
Great food! Place was packed and the bar seemed to have issues keeping up. Also, mad e the reservation and asked specifically for outdoor seating but they did not seem to have that information stored in the computer. I loved outdoor ambiance and our waitress was on top of things considering how busy they were.
Great venue and the service was good. When we first walked in though it smelled like someone had mopped the place with dirty water. That was unfortunate since it is a great space and our server was great. Still gave it a chance but not sure if I will go back anytime soon.
Pretty cool place to eat and hangout. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Food is decent. Food and drinks are a little pricey for the quality. The food is good, just s little pricey. I bowl of really good Mac n cheese will run you $15-$17; no sides included. Overall it is a good place to hangout and eat if you happen to be in the area.
I enjoyed our server he was always on point. Mojitos were ok a bit too sweet but work it. First time eating GATOR BITES yummy!!! It was great. Want to check out Salsa night. Although I was not offered the $6 hamburger deal as noted on their site it was a shame it was not offered. I feel each server should offer the deal if one is available rather than wait to be asked. Going to check out Salsa Night one day. Oh, and the hosts AWESOME!!
My family and I have always enjoyed dining at Primebar. We've dined for date night, birthday celebrations and even dinner with our kids. Outside seating is our preference because it's cozy, has an exciting bar scene and you can people watch. Definitely recommend Primebar for good drinks and outstanding food!
Food took a long time to come out, manager even came over to apologize and bought us a round of drinks. That was nice, but when food dually came out, my wife's fried fish was way undercooked and cold in the middle. Sent it back, took another 18 minutes to get a new one! Now my food was cold, because I wasn't going to eat with out her. No manager came back by to apologize or even see if everything was ok. They knew about it because they took it off the bill, but didn't come back by, in my opinion very cowardly. This was the second time we have been to this place and it will be the last! First time we went, about 6 months ago, we were sat waited for 20 minutes, no exaggeration, and no one came up to us. Saw several employees standing in groups talking, even several different employees delivering food and drinks to the table next to us, but no one even made eye contact. We got up and left. I did tell the manager on the way out that we sat for 20 minutes, and he didn't seem to care. I went out online and complained to let someone know, and they gave a credit to me for the experience. Didn't want that (or use it last night), it wasn't about the money. I made reservations to give you another shot, even told the hostess when she called to confirm reservation that the last time was not very good and I was giving you another chance. I WILL NOT give you a third chance to ruin an evening out!
I ordered the Mahi Tacos. The Mahi was overcooked. The rice was crunchy, like it had been scooped out of the bottom of the pot. My sister-in-law also ordered a Mahi dish. Her dish was overcooked as well. The appetizer we ordered didn't mention jalapeños in the ingredient list, but came out with them on it. Our food did not come out at the same time. My mother-in-law's dish didn't come out until we inquired about it. It was definitely over priced.
We went a Friday early night and it was packed...luckily for us I made reservations. The food was good we had the shrimp tacos and the pulled chicken tacos! They both were really tasty. We also had the Mac n cheese egg rolls, which were amazing. It seems that was a popular choice at the surrounding tables. When we went it was still happy hour and the prices were not too expensive. Service was fine, nothing bad but nothing outstanding either. Definitely would go again.
Restaurant was night with a great ambiance. It was extremely loud in there during dinner service. Our server was quite slow and hard to reach when you needed anything. The food was not bad but nothing to write home about. The best part was when the DJ started around 10pm. Will return again and hope for a slightly better experience.
