The kitchen was the best part and that is the way it should be.
Food was excellent, service and ambiance didn't match up so the value wasn't worth the price.
It was very noisy and very pricy comparing to the service and food. The steak was good but overall I wouldn't recommend this place.
Waited more 2 hrs to get our main meal. Server never attempted to ask if we needed another drink or took away empty plates. Finally had to ask for our bill. Great view, food was good and service needs to be better to improve the experience.
While the food was good, very overpriced. I understand you are paying for a view but $300.00 plus for a dinner for 2 seems excessive.
There are way too many places to experience before I would ever go back.
Birthday celebration overloooking the Falls. Excellent service, best quality food made for an exceptional experience. Baked Alaska for dessert. What a finish!
Food is good; however, very pricy. Be prepared to spend at least 70$ per person, not including drinks, apps, dessert, etc.
100% not worth the price. I regret choosing this place for our dinner
James was an excellent, informative and polite waiter. He explained the menu and specials, he answered all our questions, he was prompt and attentive. The view of the falls was spectacular. All the food we had was as expected and beyond. The Chicago style steak was amazing.
Excellent service from Barbara. Had an amazing bottle of Malbec wine. Thought the food was average for the price.
Steak came on it’s own, and you had to purchase sauce and sides separately. Better value from the Keg. Food was way overpriced.
Wonderful view of the falls. Dinner was delicious and served promptly. Service impeccable!
The ambiance was great. Staff were very good as well. The meal was amazing.
Great ambience, classy modern steakhouse vibe and the views of the falls were fantastic. Unfortunately the meals we had were disappointing, and for the money, we expected a much higher level of quality. I had the striploin and it was cooked medium-rare as requested, so no complaints there but the meat itself was a bit tougher than I'd expect for AAA (Canadian grade) but I didn't have a problem with it overall. It happens. However, my fiance's tenderloin was supposed to be medium-rare as well, but it was clearly medium to medium-well and quite dry. We mentioned this to our server and she suggested that it might be the darker lighting in the dining area and to give it another try. we were a bit put-off by this response but went along with it, which is our fault. We should have sent it back, so our bad there. The potato gratin was less a gratin and more of a double baked potato without the skin and served in a dish. It was fine, but it wasn't potato gratin. the potato was basically highly seasoned mashed with melted cheese on top. Again, it tasted fine, perhaps a bit over salted, but it certainly wasn't potato gratin. And finally the "10-story Chocolate cake" dessert honestly tasted like supermarket cake. There was absolutely nothing special about it at all and for what you got, it was way overpriced. It was served cold, like it was right out of the fridge, which seemed odd to us.
I really wanted to love this place, and on first impressions, it seemed like a hit, but once the food started coming, it was clear this is just a mid-tier steakhouse. I can let a overdone steak slide here and there, but the problems and lack of quality and attention in the food was prevalent throughout the entire meal.
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere and views were fantastic and almost make it worth it, but just don't expect an outstanding steakhouse experience.
Went there on my gf's birthday and it was really really good! Food was one of the best. We had the Tenderloin and the Carbonara. It was an amazing experience. With the Falls view through the glass it was a perfect spot for a date night!
outrages price for what you got. tenderloin and ribeye were both undercooked and tough, don't think the meat was the grade they say.
Great bottle of Niagara wine (Stone Eagle) and two fantastic, US style steak-frites...
And of course the spectacular view of the falls. A worthy destination, in its own class for addresses in Canada.
Great food, service and atmosphere - plus such a gorgeous view of the falls
Amazing food but very pricey. Ambiance is nice, but we booked it for a view of the falls and were put in a booth where we couldn't see the falls at all.
Place was really good, service was okay but the food was amazing, a little overpriced
Our second time here and as before the meal and service was fantastic .
View of the falls is also second to none
We had dinner over the weekend and James was our server. He was very kind, considerate, and very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu items. Great Job James!
Steak was cooked improperly twice, way over priced for what you get
Food was incredible! James our server, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. My wife has dietary restrictions and had great suggestions to accommodate. All staff were very friendly and helpful!!! Will definitely be coming back. Thanks again!
Nice selection of items- quality is good.
Ambiance is lovely .
Pricey buy worth it if you are looking for a special place for dinner.
Service was good, waitress was very attentive.
Michael was great!
Sara was a wonderful host and a great help! Good was delicious and cooked wonderfully. I would highly recommend the tenderloin and Mac and cheese!
Our server was great she did a really good job, however the food came out really fast for a steakhouse at these prices. Apps were ok, steak was good but vegetable side dishes were were not freshly cooked, I think there were after being pulled from a warming lamp. The view of the Falls was nice but very loud atmosphere. Overall not worth the money you spend.
Great food and outstanding view of the falls!
Amazing food, great staff but terrible ambiance. The tables are way too close and if they sit you on the right side of the restaurant, you’re facing a giant and very bright Ferris wheel that flashed constantly.
Staff are amazing. There was a bit of an issue with a booth that was excessively loud and obnoxious....staff handled everything with class and a few tables were moved without much incident. They try to accommodate the family Waterpark folks...but if you're bringing 3 kids under 4 for a 100 dollar steak dinner at 8pm...clearly not the best choice. Overall, amazing experience.
The steaks were done to perfection. the view was spectacular
Our server Sara was amazing, very attentive. Food was fabulous!!
Steak was good but that’s pretty much it. Loud screaming and children playing in dining room adjacent to ours which ruined mood for anniversary dinner. Asked server to close the door which he did but was reopened shortly thereafter to continued noise from children-all night. Cheesecake dessert was basically cream cheese, disgusting. Table was sticky and overall seemed rundown and cheap. Lighting in our section was too bright. What you’d expect from a hotel steakhouse but was expecting more here considering #1 rating on trip advisor. Views of falls not that great, kinda far away and mostly looking at the American border crossing.
Let’s start from the bottom line : this restaurant is over rated in terms of food however the view is beautiful .
My wife and I were there for her birthday
Staff very friendly and the manager was very nice and accommodating.
Appetizers - we order the French onion soup, which was a mix of a tomato soap….perhaps that’s a new way to invent yourself but if you are a hard core French like me, you will be disappointed.(14$)
Sides - Mac and cheese truffled , sounded interesting but tasted exactly like a home made Mac and cheese (13$)
Mashed potatoes and cauliflower with cheese on top. Wasn’t so much to our taste due to over seasoning (14$)
Entrees - NY strip loin and tenderloin - shockingly both came out room temperature ( I don’t want to use the term cold). We had to ask to send it back to warm up. (57$ each)
The manager was nice enough to give us a break on the amount paid without us asking so thank you. The review is intended for food only
Very good experience
A bit pricy, but was worth it
Took 3 kids meals, and we share an appetizer and steak my wife and I. Great wine also. Would recommend!
This is a must when in Niagara. The view is mesmerizing and the delicious food is the o my thing that will take your attention about away from the falls. Make sure to save some room for dessert cause the mango coconut creme brûlée is the perfect way to end the meal. The service is friendly, welcoming and kind, everyone goes out of their way to provide you a 5 stars experience
It’s is a bit $$$ but it’s worth every penny
Steaks were very good but a bit over priced and all sides and sauces are ala carte making for a very expensive meal while the service and ambience didn’t justify the cost.
The dining experience was excellant. The food is very outstanding, and all tasted very good. It was the first time I ate at prime steakhouse and was very impressed with the quality service I received. You pay very good money but you get what you pay for. The steak and asparagus was cooked perfectly.
Dining experience was superb ! our waitress Carlee was excellent in service and demeanor! We will return next year for our anniversary ❤
The atmosphere was amazing, excellent view of the falls and open concept. Unfortunately the steak was not cooked how I asked. Overall, great service and a prime spot for a date night.
