   The reviews were so terrible, yet I decided to give them a try. The place was quiet and empty, I believe this is the norm, I don't believe the majority of these people can afford to eat there. My server, Luis, was sweet and kind. His English was not well which usually frustrates me, but his energy was so attentive and accommodating we were both patient with the language barrier. I order the Tomahawk steak, MW, I stressed the need to have my steak cooked on the bone and not sliced as some restaurants do as it is difficult to prepare a Tomahawk at medium-well consistency. Luis visited the kitchen at least 5 times to make sure my request was understood. Needless to say, my steak was PERFECT! The mushroom risotto was good and the mac and cheese. I did not like the calamari or the bread which was served (a steakhouse should offer hot buttered or fresh dinner rolls. The sliced agua-pan bread is NOT appropriate). For that reason, I gave them 3 stars for the food, it would have been 4 or 5.....the Tomahawk was good. They should also offer varying steak sauces, only had A1. With a few changes in minor details and the consistency of good food preparation and service, I believe they may be able to retain a higher clientele. Good luck!

   I made reservations for outdoor i was sat inside no biggie. I waited about 8 minutes before a server acknowledged me. They said they would be right back n left to go make drinks at the bar. I stopped another server after waiting 8 more minutes asking for her to take our order. She took the order and left. About 6 mins later the drinks came. I saw every table get water upon sitting down i asked for some from another server and he acted like i wasn’t allowed to get any. Even brought it to us in margarita glasses. The food came out and it was not what i ordered. The original server then told me they didn’t have penne i said oh i wasn’t given the option to change my item i don’t want this. He took it back. We waited for shrimp empanada they never came. I asked how much longer i was then told they were all out. I said ok let’s just get dessert and leave. I ordered chocolate cake it was stale. I asked then to get my check so i could leave. I waited about 10 minutes for the server to close me out. I actually had to go to the bar and find out what was the hold up. It was the worst experience.

   Poor service at the bar, food took forever and was stone cold when it was finally brought to us. We did not want to wait another hour for it to be remade, so we ate our cold steak and fries and got the heck out. This was the first bad dinner experience we had in San Juan. Never again!

   This is a great place for cocktails but unfortunately, very disappointed in the quality of my filet mignon, side of vegetables had been frozen, not fresh and loaded baked potato should have baked longer.  Every guest dining (while we were there) had uneaten food on their plates ….. that should be an indication to the chef the food coming out of the kitchen did not need the expectation of his guests.  I hope they make a change ….. I did enjoy the ambience of the restaurant.

   The food was delicious and the service was excellent. If visiting Condado, it’s a great place for dinner.

   We had reservations for 4 on New Years Eve. Our reservation was confirmed ahead of time. We showed up & the doors were locked, lights were off. There were others standing outside with the same problem. I wish we would have been notified that our reservation couldn't be honored. It really put a damper on our celebration & left us scrambling for an alternative on a busy night.

    Husband ribeye was overcooked so we returned it and then was given a strip steak that he didn’t order. My husband only orders steak when we go out and clearly we all know the difference of the cuts. The restaurant gave pushback stating the strip IS a ribeye. Even our waiter knew it was a strip when he saw it. My steak wasn’t a true medium as requested but ate it anyways since I was starving. I did enjoy our waiter. He’s such a sweetheart. Wish I caught his name but the total experience overshadowed everything.
