Great experience. Laura was the best server ever! Petit filet was delicious and cooked exactly to order. Asparagus perfect . Chocolate cake was the best I’ve had since I can’t remember when. Pamper yourself and visit!
I love all thank you
Food and service was great
Food is not good. Not much variety. Lobster was over cooked n cold. I didn’t pay for anything so I didn’t mind eating but I would not pay to eat at your lobster buffet but I will pay in which I have done many times at valley view buffet because it was worth it.
Sorry I don’t normally leave any comments but I think it needs to. Also, I overheard other table saying the same thing that the food is no good.
My reservation was at 1700 but I came 20 minutes late. I was adviced to go to the regular line instead to the reservation line. With the intervention of my host, that issue was taken cared of but were not able to get our seat for more than 45 min . The waitress did not show up in our table to get our orders for more than 15 min. Very poor customer service - very short to get our orders. She turned her back before we finished our order.
The Beef Wellington was outstanding!
The view was superb and the ambiance was excellent.
Crab cakes were cold
Baked potato not cooked
Noodles like mush
As always it is an awesome buffet. I did vote it for the best Sunday Casino buffet in San Diego, CA.
The employees are very friendly and accommodating, I felt very relaxed and welcomed, there was a fair variety of different dishes - some very good - though the chef is good - only one thing I would love to have and that would be just plain mashed potatoes and plain white rice
Food does not warrant the price.
I love all the service the elegance and the food is delicious
It is a great place!
Great food, ate here last week and we liked it so much we had to come back a week later!
Awesome steaks !!!!!! $$$ was well worth the experience...
The sunday brunch buffet food rans out fairly quickly and need to wait for new food batch. A bit inconvenient and waited several times to get prime rib or the fried lobster tails. Would have like to have had mash potatoes for Turkey or prime rib.
Very noisy atmosphere and felt overwhelm instead of a fine dining g atmosphere. Tables are to close to each other and feels like people are so close and hearing everyone conversation.
Waited in line after doing a reservation.
The thing I like most is, it is quiet and not too crowded. The view was very nice from where we were sitting. I enjoyed it overall.
Great server in Yay- friendly and courteous
Food was excellent, Cooked to perfection! Service was outstanding!! Server was Iydeen I want to sit in her section every time I eat there
Ye, the server greets customers with a smile. He responds to customers request in a timely manner. The seafood is to die for. J
Food is great, the service, courtesy, friendliness of the staff/bartender/servers. We were by by Iydeen: she is absolutely exceptional!!! 👌😍
Prices are high, especially for the steaks. The food has delicious, but I feel they are over priced. We would eat there more often, if the pricing was more reasonable.
Everyone does a good job getting better with the time to serve the food
Our server brought us water, bread and butter, and took our order. After 40 minutes of her not returning to our table, we asked a different person about our food. This new person brought out our main dish in less than a minute, the original server brought our not even warm baked potatoes about 3 minutes later. She never came back to check on us, next time we saw her, we flagged her down for the bill.
This is not the first time we have experienced this level of poor service. The restaurant is never crowded, but without a reservation, you will be made to wait at least 45 minutes.
We eat here because we get a $50 voucher from the gambling casino. We have tried most of the entrees and the only one that is decent is the pork chop, juicy, tender, but very salty.
Steak was cooked perfectly, everything was delicious! Our waitress Missy was awesome!!
The Prime Cut Steakhouse Jamul Casino hands down is one of the BEST in San Diego. The food/Service/Ambiance is excellent and we really like to enjoy our time here with friends and family. The Sunday lobster Brunch is the bomb as well. Treat yourself and come on over to the Prime Cut Steakhouse @ Jamul Casino.
The meal and the service was very good, with one exception. The caesar salad was the worst ever. Chopped up romaine with no dressing, no parmesan and no flavor at all. Told our waitress.
Everything was very nice with the exception of it is too dark inside the seating area you can hardly see your food
Had a great experience at Prime Cut. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server Missy who was very friendly and attentive, but not overly so which was a great balance. We went for the Lobster Buffet and their was such a great variety of seafood and breakfast items. Everyone at the stations were very nice and helpful as well. Our favorites were the fried lobster and mozzarella salad. The Turkey from the carving station was prepared perfectly and my wife loved what we think were Peppercorns on the Prime Rib. And I’m always a fan of Petit fours on a dessert bar. Especially the lemon mousse & cheesecake bites. Definite recommend for a nice Sunday Brunch!!!
Good choise for grilled dishes, We did not like cooked dishes or desserts but the grilled fish and Ribeye were good. insted butter with your bread u get spread that is a bad choise.
You should eat at black and blue at valley view casino to know what patrons expect. The charge $45. For a filet. Dinner starts with a cheese nuts & olives as a starter. Then they bring bread with a variety of butter. The salad is great and fresh. Then the filet with mashed potatoes and carrots & asparagus. To top the meal off we would have cream brûlée & coffee. The waiters at valley view were on top of everything.
I expected something similar in quality and a nice dining experience. The food served was poorly prepared ,the service was poor and the restaurant was cold. The price was high. I liked the maitri de. He seemed to be exceptional and gave the impression that he wanted us to enjoy our dining experience
great server. want to have her again. great food too.
Lobster at times were warm to cold. Like they were put out just in time and then started warming them up.
The service was good. Restaurant is way too dark not sure why. The food was good but over an hours for one steak and veggies is too long of a wait Didn’t like the caesars salad, under dressed and no croutons. It was just chopped lettuce with a sardine on top. The Parmesan crips was soft and hard to eat.
Delicious food prime rib and lobster great views and service
Evening out with friends
I expected the regular steakhouse to be open. It was a Sunday night and they had the buffet. The food was okay. Definitely not worth $50/each.
I will go back on a night when it’s the usual menu.
Surprisingly it was a Sunday buffet! Food was great, selection was medium, but a little expensive at $50. We had no complaints with deep fried lobster, carved ham and prime rib, and sushi. We'll be back again!
All in all another good meal and service was great again. One issue with the lobster, it was not hot all the way through. Half was cold.
Great food, great environment, great location, and great ambiance! We like going to this steakhouse because it's close to home and the steaks are delicious!!!!
