   One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had in this area. Prime is outstanding. The service was excellent from the moment we walked into the door. Food, drinks, and service exceeded all expectations. We will be back for special occasions.

   For a starter, We had the bacon wrapped scallops. They are the best in the area. The split wedge salad was more than enough for two. We had the fillet flight, which was cooked to perfection. It come with your choice of 3 dipping sauces from 10 different to choose from. This really added to the experience. For a side we shared a Mac & Cheese, which was a very large portion. There’s a nice wine list to select from along with specialty cocktails. It may seem a little pricey to begin with, but the great food and service makes dining an exceptional experience.

   This place is an amazing restaurant. With an amazing staff. The wine list is excellent and the quality of the food off the charts. It’s pricey but worth the experience.

   We asked roasted bone marrow it come warm and plentiful. This was an appetizer to share and it was plentiful for 2 people. I asked for a pomegranate hibiscus drink that was sweet but not overpowering. My entree was mahi mahi with a bed of risotto and crab on top of the fish. The fish was surprisingly warm. My husband had a 16 oz Prime Ribeye which was cooked to perfection. We asked for mushrooms to share as a side dish, that were seasoned as we eat it in Italy. We had to ask two boxes to take the leftovers. The server brought us warm towels at the end of our meal. The ambience is refined the lighting is nice and the music level is low enough to allow talking without screaming. A nice surprise was the tablecloth which isn’t in all the restaurants in the area. The waitress were very attentive at our needs and getting to explain not only the food but the wines was a plus. The place is pricey but it’s worth it. We’ll definitely will be back.

   The food was absolutely amazing! The service was incredible too. It was raining and they met my wife at the car with an umbrella and did the same when we left. I love the extra service touches like hot hand towels between courses and crumb catchers between courses. We can’t wait to come back.

   This was a truly exceptional experience for Morehead City. As soon as we arrived we felt very well attended to and our waitress and wait assistant were very knowledgeable and prompt. Our cocktails were delicious and the appetizers (bread service, oysters Rockefeller, and sturgeon dip) were so delicious! Entrees (filet, scallop gnocchetti, and grouper) were fire and honestly worth the price, especially the scallops which was my fav. Between courses we each received warm towels to clean our hands - a very special touch and never before seen in Morehead City. We also split several a la carte side dishes and a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced. Overall, the ambience/vibe was really elevated and enjoyable. We will go back next time we’re in town. For reference, we grew up here but have since moved away - very excited to see a restaurant like this open in Morehead.

   My wife and I made reservations for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner. From entry to exit everything was perfect. On the reservation site it asked if this was a special occasion and by responding, Prime Bistro made it extra special. I think every employee acknowledged our anniversary and we were presented with a card and gift. We shared a cream brûlée but still had room to eat one of the warm chocolate chip cookies we were given at the end of the evening. The steak was cooked perfectly. The value for the cost was extremely reasonable.

    The experience at Prime is one not to be missed! The restaurant has everything needed for a high-class night out. The menu revolves around aged beef but has an outstanding mix of high and low, from filet flights to bloomin' onions and everything in between. They have some of the best rolls in North Carolina and the burger is perfectly cooked and topped. Prime has it all!

    Very nice interior. Food was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Service was very good. The only con is a very pricey menu. Granted some ingredients are expensive, however a little pricey in my opinion. Overall though, it’s a very nice place to dine. Just be prepared to take a hit to your wallet.

    From the time we walked I til the time we left , we were treated with first class style . Waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us her suggestions and did not disappoint. The food was fabulous and will definitely be back again . Highly recommended! Dr Harvey Ham

    We enjoyed ourselves and the server and water person were very kind. Not a big fan of an alacarte menu, but that’s just me. We will be back again to try different things. The bathrooms by the way killed the vibe you were going for. You can’t have old school steak house style with vests, high cushion backs and big band playing in the back ground and then use the bathroom and your now in Dank Burrito. Not a good mix. Overall a 7.8 out of ten due to bathrooms and servers had too many tables to work. The bread by the way was spectacular- highly recommend.

    Wonderful fine dining experience. It’s exciting to have such an exquisite dining restaurant locally. The service was attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. The cocktails were very well balanced and the wine list is something to be rivaled with NYC or Charleston restaurants. The crab cakes and lobster bisque were wonderful. Cannot wait to go back.

    Went for an early Mothers Day meal. This is the second time we've visited Prime and were as equally impressed as we were the first time. Food is excellent and service is top notch. Highly recommended for any special occastion.

    Prime is incredible. This is a very special place. Very classy!! The service was excellent from the time we walked in until we left!     Lovely 2nd visit. Freddy greeted us the first time and waiting on us during our second visit. He and the rest of the staff have an extremely warm presence. The food is fantastic, can’t wait to visit again when we return to the area!

    Well they tried. Service was great and restaurant upon entering did give the vibe of fine steak house dining but the food was just ok. Cheese soufflé was a little strange on the onion soup as it threw the texture off although soup itself was tasty. Blooming onion was also very good- probably the star of the meal. My mother had the beet salad and enjoyed it. My daughter’s flat iron steak, however, was dreadful. Came out completely rare and smelling strange. She wouldn’t let me send it back and powered through a bit and took the rest home. The next day when reheated, it smelled up the whole condo and she couldn’t even eat it. And this girl eats lots of steaks! Just strange. Crab cakes were pretty good but far from “colossal”. Yes, they were mostly all lump meat but lacked some flavor. For what the dish was, way over priced@ $55. We ordered the “old fashioned” cheese cake which was supposed to be a play off the whiskey drink. Oddly, we were served blueberry cheese cake with cherry orange mixture thrown on top and charged $14! What? It was like the B team was in the kitchen that night. The bottom line- way over priced for mediocre food. You are paying for the ambience I suppose.

    Seafood tower was great, service was great steaks and pasta lacked flavor. Just some salt and pepper wound have gone a long way. Ordered mid rare minus and received medium. Not sure I’ll go back for another $500 two person dinner.

    It was embarrassing to see the other server and assistants deliver the wrong food and drink to 3 other tables across from us multiple times. Our server Summer was simply outstanding. You need more like her or have her train others longer.

    We had an absolutely amazing evening. Andy our server was superb he was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and preparation of items. The pace of courses was just right not too close together and right on time. Everything was flavorful and fragrant. Our cocktails were thoughtfully crafted and well balanced.     Food and service were great! The only drawback was the price of the entrees. I thought the price was somewhat expensive - $70.00 for a steak and a'la carte for the sides. $83.00 meal. Was great but not worth that.

    I must say, it was a pleasant surprise. I wouldn’t have thought Morehead City could have such an impressive dining experience. I felt like I was back in NYC. You should indulge yourself and enjoy everything Prime has to offer. It’s by far the place to be!!!
