Food was great and price reflected the environment. Pleased with the service. A little shocked at pricing for drinks. 2 bourbon on the rock $76. Other than that everything was excellent. Do no think I will be drinking in the future just sticking to the wonderful food!

This was one of the best dining experiences we have had. When we walked in we were greeted by name without us even letting them know who we were. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was excellent as well. Will definitely come back again.

Our 5th visit to Prime since they opened, and we would have to say this evening was the best!! Did not think there was any room for improvement, but this team keeps fine tuning their skills. A wonderful experience!!!! Thank you!!

Wonderful dining experience ! The food was exquisite. . . .crab cakes that contend for best anywhere then the beef filets were perfect , the accompanying sauces were all so tasty . . . .words can't describe the boursin potatoes. And above all was the service by Sean , truly a pleasure .

Beautiful decor, nice ambiance. A tad overpriced but the quality of the food was very nice. Service was superb as we were allowed to take our time and enjoy the whole experience. Would recommend for a special occasion.

I wanted to go somewhere that wouldn’t have kids because I have 4 and needed a break. My husband took me here for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! I’m not saying it isn’t kid friendly but seemed much more upscale and less likely that a huge family with a bunch of kids would attend. It was perfect! Everything was amazing from the ambience to the food, to the service! This will now be our go to place for anniversaries! They also gave me a sweet birthday gift which I didn’t expect! 10/10 recommend!

The steak was cooked as ordered, they absolutely got that right. It tasted a little scorched on the outside, perhaps due to the wood fire cook. While it was good, for the price, it wasn't the best steak I have tasted. The wine list is very good and the service was great. My husband's grouper and risotto were very good as well. From bread to sauces, everything is a la carte. It's a special occasion splurge, but there are other equally good high end restaurants where you are not paying for each sauce or side. We went early, and the atmosphere was quiet which was nice. We did receive an anniversary card and small gift which was very much appreciated and a special touch.

Everything we ate was good except for the steak. I ordered the $85 filet and it was ok. It was cooked medium rare like I asked but it was VERY dry and not worth the money. I don’t like sending food back so I ate it but an $85 steak should be perfect. Everything else was great but we don’t know if we’ll go back. Pretty pricey for the quality in my opinion.

Wonderful experience on our wedding anniversary. Great ambience and a very extensive wine selection. Enjoyed the Caymus Cab. Sean our server was friendly and attentive. Thanks for a fun and memorable evening.

The staff at the restaurant greeted us with warm smiles and provided exceptional customer service. They were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was relaxing and enjoyable. We decided to try the lump crab cake entry, and they were awesome. What stood out was the large crab lumps and the fact that they did not use bread filler in the crab cakes, which made them even more delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want an upscale dining experience.

Fantastic food, service and ambience! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The music playing was tasteful, however just a little bit too loud. I had to ask our waiter to turn down slightly, which they accommodated immediately. Absolutely the best fine dining in the Morehead City area.

Prime is simply the best. From the moment we got there we were impressed with great service. A gentleman greeted us by opening the door for us. Then we were greeted by the lovely Sonya who took us to our table and was able to describe in detail a cocktail I noticed at another table. Our server was knowledgeable about every question we had. The food was absolutely outstanding. And the fact that you can get Caymus wine by the glass is the cherry on top. Clarke and Liza really out did themselves this time.

We had the NY Strip + King Crab special and it was delicious! Love that they offer premium Cabernets by the glass; I'm partial to Silver Oak and usually order a glass with dinner here. We loved it, as always!
