Prime - Bellagio Ratings and Reviews
I always love Prime. This time I went alone because the person I was supposed to meet could not make it- funny enough I ended up chatting to the table next to me for the better part of 2 hours and we closed the restaurant. Loved that, will add to my list of good memories at this place.
Amazing view of fountains with Ample heating elements outside to keep you warm on outside dining patio. However we Felt rushed here. Came before theatre show and for a party of six we were done in 1 hour with apps and all! Waitstaff brought entrees our before all parties were even done with apps which is unprofessiosnl and unacceptable especially to the standard of restaraunt they are charging for. Management was apologetic and sent dessert but in an establishment of this capacity and cost, should never have happened. Waiter also kept repeatedly asking two members of the party who weren’t drinking if the ywanted alcoholic drink to upsell. So disrespectful in my opinion. People have many reasons they do not drink and to be asked “did you want to put in a drink order” 3 or more times is just uncomfortable. You work in the service industry ..if people want something you know they will ask for it! Food was overly salty as well. Not worth it unfortunetly.
The only drawback I had was the picture session. We bought them, but it just seemed like the restaurant was being used for a money maker. We were told the package was $45 that we bought and it ended up being $50.00. It is not a big deal, I just like honesty.
The food was decent but not great. The steaks in particular were very bland, especially for a prime steakhouse. My wife got the peppercorn strip and it was extremely tough. I got the daily special bone in filet. Both were over cooked and the filet had very little flavor. Sauces were required to improve he taste and while the sauces were good I don’t believe you should have to put sauce on a quality steak. The ambience and view of the fountains was amazing, but that alone doesn’t justify a $450+ tab for 2. We wine return.
Prime is our go to restaurant when we visit Las Vegas. We had dinner once when I booked via OpenTable to celebrate our anniversary. We were blown away with the beautiful decor, amazing staff and lastly, the most amazing food we had ever eaten by far. The initial visit was enough for us to start a tradition of stopping in at least once during our visits to Las Vegas. We make it a point to have dinner here because of the amazing food and outstanding service. We just celebrated our 13th anniversary, 2 year engagement, and completing nursing school. We discussed our wedding plans and decided that Prime is on the schedule for our rehearsal dinner and for our family dinner.
I asked for my steak to be cooked medium. It clearly come out medium rare. I looked for and unsuccessfully tried to flag down a waiter for about 5 minutes, since no one came to ask how our meal came out, I just ate the steak. About half way through, someone finally came to ask how the food was. As my family was nearly finished eating, it was too late to send back the poorly cooked steak. So I didn’t complain. I was disappointed in the service here after paying such a high price.
We sat outside for our first year anniversary. It was splendid!!! Our server and food runners were amazing! We ordered a bottle of wine, 2 soups, 2 steaks, 2 side dishes, and we received complimentary dessert to celebrate our evening. We also purchased photos to remember our experience! Wonderful venue, the views of the strip and water show were all breath taking.
We loved Prime! Service was excellent, as Oscar, Pedro and Guierrmo were wonderful both personally and professionally! The food was also delicious and we have an amazing view of the water show sitting outside! Loved the company, food, and experience overall! Thanks Prime!!
Service was impeccable. I was so happy from the moment I walked in the door. Friendly faces and genuine attitude to serve. Steak was cooked perfectly and brussel sprouts were flavorful. The cinnamon bread pudding dessert was decadent! I left a descent tip as the service deserved it and the server even came back and said “thank you for your generosity”. I’ve never experienced that but it seemed like a kind gesture that I very much appreciated.
We visit Las Vegas every year and have for almost 40 years now. We enjoyed our first visit to Prime, however the fountain view and ambiance was better than the food was. If you are in Vegas and looking for a better steak, and a better value, Go to The Steakhouse in Circus, Circus
We were seated at a table by the fountain with a excellent view. The corkage fee was $50 which is way to high and the wines on wine list are overpriced. Drinks were crazy overpriced. The food was good, I wouldn't say excellent though, but again overpriced, $70 for a steak was about $15 too much. There are restaurants just as good or better for less.
The outside of steak was smothered with salt. Hardly edible. The same person must’ve gone after the mashed potatoes. Very salty. When foods are so salty you can’t taste anything but salt, I don’t feel it’s very good quality food. Sorry. We’ve been here before, two years ago, and the food was exceptional. Last night it was salty. Stop whoever it is that thinks salt is a food group!
