Avra Madison Estiatorio on 60th
This two-story penthouse restaurant named Prime at the Bentley is simply sublime. It has a wrap-around terrace ideal for dining al fresco under the stars. Enjoy the ambience of the twinkling city views from inside via Prime's large floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the East River and Queensboro Bridge.
Prime at the Bentley has an eclectic menu that is entirely kosher, but goes well beyond delicious matzoh while splitting into land- and sea-based choices. The latter counts unique sushi rolls, like Fire Dragon, spicy tuna inside, avocado on the outside, and antipasti plates, like wild salmon carpaccio and pan-seared Branzino.

Very poor service. The prices were way too high. The food quality is, at best mediocre.
Our party of ten was uniformly disappointed.
This is a rooftop restaurant and bar on the Penthouse of The Bentley Hotel. The decor is nice, a little modern but you can tell it's a few years old. The chairs in the back have a better view of the city. The menu is mostly stake and has good options. Plates are an ok size. Flavor was not amazing, and for the price I would say they are not worth it. They have several waiters but seems they are always scattered. We were a party of 12 and that needs constant attention. We didn't get that. Not bad, but not worth the price. Wouldn't recommend it.
We had 2 appetizers which tasted great and was good value but the desert was horrible tasted like it was taken out of freezer and sat out for a few hours otherwise was nice experience.
Great views and good vibe, especially for a kosher place. Drinks were perfect and good wine. Service on the other hand was terrible. We were given the bill without ever receiving our entrees. The waiter just simply said I made a mistake. One would think the waiter would maybe want to provide one dessert at least , complimentary. Not only did that not happen but he sort of got nasty when we were going to order dessert so we all just got up and left. Nevertheless, worth trying simply because of the views.
This restaurant is Kosher. They do any extremely good job. The menu is interesting and has different options
Nice room atop a good hotel. Friendly staff. Good food choices on menu. They didn't have two of the appetizers even though it was a Thursday on thanksgiving and we ate early in the evening. One person ordered steak medium rare. It came medium-well and was black various places on outside. We sent it back. Guess they were so concerned not to overlook it they then served a steak that was mostly raw on the inside, not rare, but raw. Sent it back and finally got what we asked for. Surprising given its reputation. I would still return because it was overall good and has a good reputation.
great food fantastic service beautiful view superb drink
