The service was a huge letdown. It started well-the hostess asked if we would prefer a booth as our reservation was for a high top due to availability when I made it. A young man came to our table and asked if we wanted still or sparkling. I said, “ Yes, sparkling and he would like still.” There were four other men that came to our table to confirm the order. I guess I didn’t realize it was that tough to figure out! Our server disappeared after our second course. We must’ve waited another twenty minutes after we had finished for him to come and check on our drinks. Our entree was delivered by someone we had never seen before. The entree absolutely delicious. I got the lamb chops and would highly recommend. We again, had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for our server to come back and offer dessert. We declined because we didn’t want to wait for an espresso and cookie.

My husband and I were there to celebrate our anniversary. We like the ambiance, service, and delicious food. Steak was too notch and the sides were very good. We had the porterhouse it was tender and done just right. We had a nice booth overlooking the restaurant. Overall it was a really wonderful experience and we loved the chocolate cake.

Still my favorite steakhouse in the city! Flambe bacon, crab cakes and grilled octopus to start followed by dry and wet aged steaks and scrumptious sides. Nathaniel expertly met our every need with speed and a witty sense of humor.

My husband had the 45-day dry aged Ribeye Steak with the peppercorn coating, while I enjoyed the crabcake. We shared the brussel sprouts with elephant garlic and lobster mac and cheese (off menu). Everything was delicious, excellently prepared, and prompt. Our drinks were decadent (Old Fashion and Prime 75). The atmosphere was even better. The staff was attentive, and our server Walter provided insight that was helpful with our meal selections.

The small bites were good to start with. We had the foie gras and the caviar on potato. Cocktails were also well done. Love the branded ice cubes. Oysters were delicious and we got a good bottle of wine. However, it fell apart with the steaks, which should have been the main attraction of the meal. Tough and did not taste dry aged. Very disappointing. The crème brulee did not taste like it was freshly made either. Grainy and not silky or light. Do not recommend.

The 45-day dry aged bone in ribeye was extremely good perfect crust. So crunchy on the outside and perfectly soft and tender on the inside. Extremely flavourful. Sides: mac and cheese and truffle fries also great Dessert: Peanut butter pie was very good

Quality of food was poor, many dishes were out and not replenished in a prompt manner. Plates were constantly unavailable, service was extremely slow. The bar was closed to accommodate the buffet so there was not an option to get drinks before or after dinner other than at our table. Overall this was not a great experience.

I attended the Thanksgiving Grand Buffet. While the price ($95 per person ++) was a little high - it was worth it. The food was plentiful and varied, the service was impeccable and the whole experience was delightful. Definitely a holiday memory to cherish!

Wonderful restaurant. We did the thanksgiving buffet and the food was good, for the price… it was not fresh enough, some food was warm instead of hot. I never mind paying as long as it matches what I’m getting. I would go back.

Our server, Rueben, was excellent. We had 9 at our table - 2 of them children. He understood that the kids were fussy eaters and took care of them. Our dishes were delicious, and Rueben made us all feel special. Near the end of the meal, Rueben gave the kids a special treat for being so well behaved, and piece of chocolate cake with a sparkler, which the kids devoured. Thank you, Rueben!

I was looking forward to dining here tonight. Unfortunately the experience was not at all what I expect from this level of restaurant. Service was subpar at best. The literally dropped our rolls on the table. The server aggressively shoved my bread plate out of the way when my meal arrived. They were unfriendly and could all use some training on what good service looks like. Soup was barely warm but at least the steaks were all cooked correctly.

Our servers Christina was delightful. Chopped salad was great. Perfect amount of dressing. Ribeye and filet cooked to perfection. Loved they sliced ribeye for me. Brussel sprouts were delicious. I had the au gratin potatoes. They were flavorful and I liked the layers of potatoes. Cheese on top was a little suspect though I think I would’ve gone with something different with a little more bite. The dessert cheesecake was small, but terrific. Overall a terrific night with my family, would absolutely come back .

Not super fond of the appetizers/first courses that they offered. We did try the thick cut maple bacon for the first course and it was good! They light it on fire at your table which was a fun surprise, very chewy though. Ordered the wedge salad, petite filet, Mac&cheese and whipped mashed potato’s. Me and my husband can’t stop talking about the mashed potato’s!! They were the best we’ve ever had, so flavorful. Steak was amazing as well! Highly recommend, service was great as well.

We sat in a booth, which we liked very much. Our server was very attentive, understanding, all around outstanding. Crab cake appetizer, wild mushrooms, mashed potatoes awesome, the steak was very good. Old Fashioned was a bit disappointing, but server’s recommendation for wine was excellent paired with meal. My biggest dissapointment: the constant thumping music, wasn’t pop, wasn‘t good House, just non-stop, uninteresting music which made everyone in the room talk louder. Honestly, the volume level in Chicago Cut was a big turnoff for us, and your website evoked ‘old era steak house’ but the music was a mood kill. Apparently, all the biz bros enjoyed it though.

We got seated underneath the stairwell at a high top that was right next to the waiters service table. Made for a terrible experience being shoved in a corner, no lighting and having people constantly standing or putting dishes at the service table next to us. Not the experience we thought we'd get for the price we paid. The oysters were fantastic but the steaks were burnt to a crisp not just a light char. Much better steakhouses than this place.

Really enjoyed the ambience. Very friendly waiter but took quite a while to get a drink. It a huge deal but was a little disappointed that our steaks for two of three of our party were not hot, just barely warm. This is premium pricing so expectations were very high on steak quality. The sides were definitely the best part of the meal. The mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts and sweet corn were excellent!
