   We went for a girls night during restaurant week. Fantastic food and wine. Great atmosphere and had a wonderful view! The filet with the roasted garlic was cooked to perfection! Highly recommend!

   Date night: We were there to enjoy Chicago restaurant week with Prime & Provisions Steakhouse. This was our first time dining at P & P. The restaurant week menu was a nice choice of food items for $59pp. We added a few items. We ordered 2 Old Fashions, 1 Paloma cocktail, 2 prime salads with lump crab, 7oz & 10oz filets Mignons, 10oz Alaskan crab legs, Lobster tail, roasted Brussel sprouts, 2 slices of chocolate cake, and coffee. Everything was perfect: the valet, greeters, escort to our table, our server Kristina D, and the manager Gabby who stopped by our table to confirm all was well. The chocolate cake was more brownie like and I would say the name needs to be changed or more cream added in the batter. For me it was pricy, $520+ for dinner, valet and tips. Love was aware, prepared and said we will definitely be back. 🤩😍

   Went for diners week. Onion soup and wedge salad were excellent. My husband and I both got petite filet which was cooked to perfection. Whipped potatoes with horseradish Parmesan crust delicious. Roasted Brussels sprouts were soggy. Chocolate caramel cake was dry and tasted like it was day old. Banana crème pie was good. Excellent service.

   Nice restaurant. The crab cakes and French onion soup were good. But steak was not great. Hard to cut, lacked flavor. Sauces on top were overpowering as well.

    Went for Restaurant Week Lunch; I had French Onion Soup which was fair and too salty. My friend liked her Caesar Salad. We both had the Prime burger, I was told the onions were grilled, they were barely grilled if at all and were chopped up in tiny pieces. I asked them to remove the 3% Covid fee; no one in the restaurant was wearing masks even; I was told they would, but they didn't.

    I Love P&P however my recent visit was disappointing. Was on a work lunch, hence time constricted. Some of the food was delivered without our server present and my dishes came so late I ended packing it all up and taking it to go. The French onion soup was barely warm, my cheesesteak was dry and it appeared as if the prime rib shavings were fried. Our server disappeared and I unfortunately had to leave my group to get back to work and our server was still nowhere in sight when I left. I’m certain next time will be a much better experience. Otherwise, I absolutely love this establishment as it’s in my work building which is ultra convenient especially on freezing Chicago winter days.

    The food was just ok. The mashed potatoes were watery and the cheese on top of the Mac was hard. My filet was also over cooked. I asked for bread service and was given two pieces of bread. Dinner took over 2 1/2 hrs, so had to ask server to bring dessert to go. We wanted to valet, but no valet when we arrived, so had to park and walk.

    My husband and I eloped two years ago and celebrated at P&P that night. We decided to celebrate our second anniversary there for a nice dinner without the baby. The food, service, and experience was everything I could have wanted!

    Service was outstanding. Jose was our waiter and was very attentive and made sure he kept checking in yet also gave us privacy at the same time. His knowledge of food suggestions was on point. The manager even came by and introduced himself to both of us.My husband could not be happier ☺️. I loved the atmosphere and the deco decor. Can't wait to go back again.     This was the first time we have been to Prime & Provisions and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat upstairs which was a little quieter but not as lively. Next time we'll try to sit in one of the half circle booths downstairs by the bar.. they looked really cozy and fun. The food was delicious lump crabcake was amazing. We both had the 7oz filet (for restaurant week) and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Next time I would order my steak without any crust or sauce so I can better appreciate the flavor. Steaks were served with a side of a pepper/ salt spice and an amazing roasted garlic head so no toppings are really necessary. Sides are large enough to share. We had delicious, creamy make potatos and roasted brussel sprouts (which come with generous chunks of bacon). Great wine list as well... we'll definitely return!

    The Restaurant Menu is worth the price! It's so good, their were so many in attendance, we had to wait for our lunch and take it to go. But Gary and Mark took good care of us! It was my 5th time there. Please visit this wonderful place!

    Great business dinner while attending meetings in Chicago. The Seafood Tower was amazing, and the entire party raved about their entrees. We had a round table for 7 and everyone was able to engage in conversation, which can be a concern with a larger table. Special shout out to the server, as he was fantastic! Thanks!

    The king crab appetizer was AMAZING! As well as the caviar potato skin, highly recommend. I ordered the steak frites as my entree, delicious! The prime salad was yummy as well and to top it off the apple pie. I will absolutely return!

    My husband and I visited for the restaurant week menu during lunch. Which can be pretty busy, however everything was up to part. We were served full plate’s… nothing lacked. Our server was enjoyable and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back soon for dinner.

    We absolutely loved everything. A few dings for the noise level and how crowded it was but it was restaurant week so I’m not surprised. We also could’ve lived without throbbing house music, not exactly an elegant vibe but I appreciated the energy. Tucked in a somewhat businessy part of town, Prime and and Provision fired on all cylinders- ran excellent service like clockwork, steaks especially were outstanding, loved the chopped salad and dessert. French onion soup to die for. Expect big tables, business bros and a bit of a corporate vibe but the servers are impeccably trained and there is a lot of heart and energy. The owner sweetly took our group’s photo on the way out- they genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed the food, despite being lowly restaurant week guests. I’d love to see a slower, calmer atmosphere that allows for relaxation (our check was popped on the table right along with our desserts which felt a bit abrupt.) As far as Restaurant Week, all menu items are regularly available so you know you’ll get tried and true winners. Delicious ! Tip: if you’re not a valet kind of person, park across the River- and walk across …plenty of parking just North on the bridge and an iconic view of the city, especially at night.

    The food was very expensive and very disappointing. The service was very good. However, I would not return as the steak was burned on the outside and raw on the inside. The only good item was the sweet potatoes.

    Wonderful customer service, meal and ambiance. Manager Zack was so kind when he visited our table. He even gave us 2 free desserts to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We had an exceptional time!

    I felt like since we ordered from restaurant week menu..that they didn’t care for that…the prime salad usually outstanding was old and soggy salad, the 7oz filets were outstanding but dessert was old…banana cream pie- yuck. I ordered a dirty martini and it tasted like the soap they wash their glasses with (had a reservation close to when they opened (4:30pm) When we arrived management was figuring out we’re to seat us (we were standing right there & no one was hardly there) & then fake greeted us & showed us to our sears. P&P is usually one of my favorite food destinations and that night definitely did not live up to it. If you disapprove of patrons ordering from restaurant week menu because you think you won’t make money or are less than full paying customers please don’t participate in that Chicago program.
