I really enjoyed my birthday dinner here and the food was great
Guerin our waiter was the best! Great personality. Great recommendations. Great sense of humor. We will go again and ask to sit in his area.
Grain our server was EXCELLENT He explained everything answered all our questions and made our experience a memorable moment Tried the old fashioned and French onion soup was the best I ever had
This has been my go to for any special dinners and it never disappoints. The extra thick bacon with chocolate drizzled over it and the dry aged ribeye are my must haves.
The waiter did not ask for a drink order. I got my soup before I got my glass of wine. That’s a big no no for me.
Excellent service as always and food was tremendous.
The experience was amazing. I’m glad that I chose this place to help celebrate my wife’s birthday. The ribeye is a must have with a good drink. CeCe really made us feel so welcomed & always made sure we wanted for nothing. I will definitely eat back. Also, the crab cake & the French onion soup is too good.
It was mine & my sisters Birthday, and we wanted to do a brunch. It was perfect, the food was so good!
One of the premier steakhouses in the city. Definitely a go to for special occasions or set the tone for the evening. Gentlemen get ready to eat Full Flavor food and drink top shelf liquor, with a side of Cigar. Ladies prepare to soak it all in.
There are so many steakhouses in Chicago and this one always delivers every time. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is excellent. Patrick the General Manager always goes above and beyond to provide an excellent experience. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had and the steaks are dry-aged to perfection and always cooked perfectly. Whether it be for a business meal or date night, you cannot beat the food and experience at Prime!
We have been coming to prime and provisions for a while now and it NEVER disappoints! They are so welcoming the minute we walk in and the service is impeccable! The food is amazing and the staff really takes care of you. Shout out to Kyle who took care of us! We will definitely be coming back. I would recommend this place to everyone! Can’t wait to go back!
Great food and ambiance
Prime & Provision does not disappoint! This is the place you want to bring your clients for lunch because you know it will be an awesome meal with exemplary service and you will not have to even think about anything except your guests. Destiny was our server this time and she made everything perfect. Great job P&P!
We really enjoyed the brunch. Great food and customer service.
It’s was a great time, staff was nice and courteous. The atmosphere was comfortable. Absolutely no complaints. We plan to return on our next trip to Chicago
We had an amazing meal. The Prine Rib his a very generous cut and could probably be shared. The tuna tartare was tasty and all the ingredients arrived at our table portioned separately then mixed as we watched. P&P is an ideal place to celebrate a special occasion.
Our food was excellent, prime rib and blue cheese scalloped potatoes were to die for. But what made our night was the service! We will definitely be back.
Our service was great. The server gave great advice by pairing the right wine with our meal. The food was very good and a nice portion. The decor and ambiance were spot on.
Always fantastic. Great for work our personal outings.
Squid ink risotto with pan seared scallops were to die for! Fairly loud place so can be tough to hold a cross table conversation but it's a really nice venue. Service was awesome and everything we had in each course was really enjoyable.
The food was good as always. Wasn't told until arriving that the dining room's last seating is at 9 p.m., so we ended up with bar seating, which was a little louder than we had hoped, but overall, a good experience as usual!
Great food and terrific ambience. Service was good and would definitely recommend!
Fried chicken and bacon, how could you go wrong
So I love Prime and Provisions... Service here is usually top notch.. The difference is during brunch there are not enough staff and the food isn't nearly as good. To break it down... Almost no gluten free options, fresh fruits didn't get refilled so kept going back to empty platters, water was not refilled so I sat with empty glasses/glasses with only ice on the last refill. Food, sadly wasn't so great either, the roast was way too salty, the shrimp was chewy, and the deserts were dried out/creme brulee was eggy, not creamy. As to value, when you are paying $59 a person you would expect orange juice to be included and if it isn't it should be fresh squeezed at $8/glass. Not minute maid box concentrate. I've now had one of my best meals here and one of my worst. Go for Dinner...... Skip "Brunch!"
Our server Mandy was the best. The food was very decent and we felt like we got a real value from the all you can drink option.
Our server Rob was outstanding. Fun and knowledgeable didn't hover, but was always right there when we needed him.
Amazing overall. We loved everything about our experience food and service was phenomenal!
Service was unremarkable. Food was just fair and expensive.
P & P came highly recommended by my cousin who is a regular. Truly had an amazing experience for my husband's birthday dinner. The loster and crab cake was AMAZING and is a definite winner. My husband, who is a self proclaimed food snob, had the Porterhouse and was completely blown away..My salmon was perfect. Cee Cee our server was a delight- very attentive and really made the night special. We will definitely be back..
Our waiter was awesome, had a great personality, excellent recommendations, and made our dinner a memorable one.
Great food and even better service! We will definitely be back
Very loud for the cost. However, the food was top notch.
The tables are miserable and they put us in a corner.
Just loved it!
My wife said it was the best steak she has ever had
Very good food with excellent service. From the moment you walk in, you are treated to great service. Our waiter, John, was very knowledgeable about the food. His “team” of servers were courteous and efficient. The crab Caesar salad was delicious. Next time I’ll ask for more crab. The big pieces of crab added to the already well balanced Caesar salad. My husband had the crab/lobster cake and it was quite flavorful. The prime rib was the biggest piece I’ve ever seen. It was tender and cooked perfectly for me. I’m having the rest for breakfast. My husband had the salmon and that was done equally well. Our sides of brûlée sweet potatoes and asparagus were nice accompaniments to our entrees. For dessert, the cherry pie hit the mark and the caramel chocolate cake was moist. Although as a chocolate lover, I would’ve preferred a darker chocolate taste. Beware of the recording in the bathrooms. It's supposed to be old movies and it is supposed to come through the intercom system. All in all a quite memorable visit. Highly recommend a stop here.
The Sunday brunch is always a treat for our family. The selection is exquisite and well prepared. Perfectly cooked tender and juicy prime rib, mountains of crab legs, jumbo four bite shrimp, and briny fresh oysters on the half shell are my favorites. There are also delicious sides such as fresh grilled asparagus, crispy thick bacon, eggs Benedict, rich and creamy mashed potatoes, fresh fruit and more. Interactive stations include make your own omelet, make your own mac n' cheese, and make your own Belgian waffles. The dessert is always divine. My favorite is definitely the creme brule.
Impeccable service, flowing mimosas and build your own bloody marys, in a semi-casual setting make for a comfortable experience. The new DJ was a fun addition too.
A special thank you to the manager, Jennifer, who made sure that we were happy and well taken care of.
Great food and service
