Prime & Provisions Steakhouse

The staff tonight made my daughters 13th birthday so special! Thank you !
Excellent appetizer of tuna tartare, and the lump crab cakes. Filet mignon was excellent. Extensive wine list. Asparagus was OK, had a fried egg on top of it. Interesting but not necessarily appealing
The night, food, service, and atmosphere was perfect our company holiday dinner. Tom was our server and he was amazing - personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. We place on coming back AND asking for him every time.
If you want the best of everything!
This is the place!!!
Our server Andrea B was incredible!
Awesome meal, fantastic service
Several things. First, the noise is very high, and it is very hard to have a conversation. Second, the bacon that we ordered to start is their prize app, but it was 90% fat. Third, the porterhouse was also mostly fat, though it was cooked well. I realize that fat gives flavor, but not when there is literally only 1/3 of the portion that is edible. That wait-staff were excellent, but the meat was well below standard.
My wife and I were there after attending a play earlier in the day. We had reservations and were seated promptly when we arrived. Our server, CiCi, was terrific. Even though we had reviewed the menu in advance to our arrival, CiCi made several recommendations that were excellent. My wife had the yellow tail tuna and I had the 10 oz, barrel cut filet. Both portions were generous and prepared as we requested. Service was timely, but never rushed. CiCi was attentive, she never rushed us nor made us wait for our next course. I would highly recommend Prime & Provision whether for a special occasion or business meal. Additionally, on our next visit I will also request CiCi as our server, she was outstanding.
Service was very pleasant personalities but very slow to get requested items after food arrived. I was done s my meal when the extra sauce arrived. No clue why.
Arrived at 10:30 after a show and then getting lost via Waze, but they graciously sat us and kept the kitchen open for us to order. Food came quickly and was even given a slice of cake to celebrate birthday. Wonderful service!
Our server, Patty, was outstanding! The food was amazing, too!
food was good, service was mediocre at best
As always, the food was delicious, the service was perfect, and overall great. My only wish is that they had a few more choices in appetizers, but only because we go here so often I wish I had some more options.
The food was delicious and the space was very grand but what really made it positive was the welcoming, warm, lovely staff that took care of us. We were celebrating a birthday and they just really made us feel special. Would definitely recommend!
Corn good, corn very good
The steak & halibut we had were over-cooked. I would recommend that you ask for your steak to be cooked 1 level under what you would normally request at a restaurant. The beet salad had too much dressing on it. I normally request dressing on the side when I eat out, but forgot this time, so that may just be my issue. It was a tasty dressing, but just too much of it for my personal preference. The service, however, was impeccable. Very attentive, helpful and nice staff! They definitely made our night out feel special! Drinks were good with our meal and the ambiance there is great. Nice location for dinner or just drinks at their bar. I would go back again.
Girls day celebrating the New Year
Fun birthday experience
We had clicked on Annoversary on our reservation, they surprised us with a complimentary Anniversary desert!!
Dinner before Phantom of the Opera. Really captured the old school steakhouse meets contemporary fare. It was the perfect place to go before the show and made us feel like we were back in NYC
The food was so dry. I ordered the pork chop medium but it was hard as a rock. First bite and I thought my teeth will all break. Had to send it back and try the rib eye my friend ordered and surprise, surprise...it was equally as dry as the pork chop. Service was horrible. Granted that it was New Year's Eve, they should have scheduled additional staff knowing that it will be busy. I will not return to this restaurant, nor will I recommend it to my family and friends. Stay as far as you can from this one.
Food was delicious, and great service!!!
Very good service and food was good except for one item. Would go back.
Food was very good. Our Server Aaron made the evening. The interaction was excellent.
I would recommend it to anyone. We have gone back three times in the last month.
A Must Try!
Horrible experience with cold food and service . Wait staff was rude and food was remade and still came out cold . Manager and GM apologized but did not do anything to make it right for next time i came in
While it is pricey, the quality of the food was excellent. It is a nice place for special occasions. The servers were very attentive. I wrote down that it was a birthday in my reservation and they brought out a cake at the end of the meal without being reminded or specifically told to do so. Despite being crowded for NYE, the timing was great.
Dinner and staff was excellent. Waiter was Awesome made us laugh.
Steak sandwich was horrible, the worst in town! Lobster and crab cake was ok
The experience was good, food tasteful but the restaurant was cold. That took away from experience.
Pricey, but a Chicago steakhouses are. Party of 6, we all had filet and all were impresses. It was tender and tasty. Sides were generous, could easily satisfy 3 people. We shared mashed potato, sweet potato, asparagus, mac and cheese. 3 of us shared the cherry pie tart, it was perfect. 2 shared the s'mores dessert. 4th trip here for me, won't be las!!!!
Luis was a great waiter. Food was delicious! I would definitely go back again!
I would recommend this place for friends with deep pockets and a reason to celebrate. A truly beautiful and glamorous restaurant. On a Saturday night at 8 pm. Wait staff was competent but rushed and somewhat snooty. Our three courses felt rushed - done in an hour - not the leisurely experience we expected! The steaks we ordered were beautiful but pricey and came with NOTHING but a half bulb of roasted garlic. Not even a parsley sprig. Everything was ala carte. The food/wine bill was $354 for the two of us (including $127 bottle of wine but not including an additional hefty tip). The wine list needs a few bottles under $85. We did have one final drink at the bar and the bartender was terrific! One other picayune complaint - the steak was tender but the steak knives were dull.
We had a reservation at 6:30. They told us 10 people had reservations at the same time. They were waiting for people to leave. It seems as though they overbooked. The manager came to seat us right away. The food was good and our waiter Brian was very nice and attentive.
Food and service were great. High$$ for what you get however.
5:00 reservation prior to attending the theater. Beautiful wife’s birthday, so I wanted everything perfect. The staff did acknowledge her warmly.
Steve our waiter, very talkative but didn’t listen to our desires. He felt we didn’t need the menus so he took them before we completed our order.
He failed to provide a bone-in ribeye steak cooked to our specifications. The side dishes were at best warm, but the salad was phenomenal.
Managment came by and tried to resolve the issue and did reduce the bill as an act kindnesses.
Two desserts were presented to her which was so very kind.
Food was great. Service was excellent. Background music could be better. There was little space to walk in between tables.
I recommend this place if you want to entice your palate.
It was a great experience
