The service was spectacular. They were very attentive and the waitress was beyond spectacular. I would highly recommend
CiCi the waitress made our night! Unbelievably welcoming and attentive. We have been enjoying family occasions with you guys for years and today was no different, as always, exceptional!!!!!
I came here for dinner with 3 friends, 2 of which were visiting from California. All of our dishes were absolutely delicious and the server was very helpful and attentive about my friend's dietary restrictions (gluten-free, no cow dairy, etc). We got a great recommendation for a bottle of wine from the sommelier that we really enjoyed and fit within our desired price range and tastes. Service here is top notch.
It was real nice. The Kobe steak was a unique experience. It was too fatty tasting for my liking.
We split a main course but still $33 with tip
Food was delicious
Waitress seemed to disappear for long stretches
Service was excellent. Not a spot for a quick lunch, but this was not due to lack of attention. Food was delicious. Must try the bacon appetizer.
AMAZING! Food was cooked to perfection! The waiter Amanda was amazing. We enjoyed our birthday and veterans day celebration.
We loved the food quality! Service was amazing. It was quite loud, but we appreciated being in a booth which may have helped. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone!
Table upstairs was nice. We were next to a big party but it was not disruptive at all.
The waiter was terrific, knowledgeable and attentive. Very kind and helpful.
Food was good but not outstanding. I was expecting more. Menu was great but the items were not as flavorful as I’d hoped. Steak was a bit tough.
Overall, meal was pricey but I expected that. I would have been happier if just the steak was a bit better.
I’d try again and order a different cut (although we were told what we ordered was the house specialty). Once is not enough to write this place off as the service was wonderful.
Really great dining experience. I really can't find anything to complain about except that you have to ask for bread. I wish I could remember our servers name he was an older gentleman with an English accent but he was Excellent. He did explain that the objective was to still be hungry for the main course. I had the bone in ribeye with lobster tail and my wife had the filet well done, drives me nuts that somebody would order a steak well done but P&R really succeeded. Can't wait to come back or to try the Sunday brunch!
Everything was great! Service was exceptional, drinks very well made, and food was very very very good. The only issue was I specifically asked them to package my steak seasoning to go, as I hadn’t eaten much. When I got home, I saw my request was not fulfilled. Also, I would suggest wrapping your own food because the chicken we had could have been boxed as well. Overall, I would definitely return.
Service made this place. Can’t go wrong with the food. Didn’t like the noise level so despite the ambience... old school dark comfort ... the noise just made it hard to have a relaxing meal and communicate.
My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. Our server Humberto was phenomenal and made us feel as if we were his only table. The lamb chops were perfect and the fillet just as great! A definite must when in Chicago. Thanks!
Really enjoyed the food - ver delicious. The only disappointment was the hamburger and it seemed odd the restaurant charged the same price for a 7 oz piece of meat compared to 8 oz at other places
Food was unbelievable
For a $350 dinner for two - from seating to initial drink order, to appetizer and entree the time elapsed was 50 minutes. No waitress contact for a second drink only if we wanted dessert. Had to pass on that as we would have had heartburn from the fast delivery - all at 6:30PM.
Food was great but the speed of delivery just stupid,
Pros: Was able to get a reservation same day for the time I wanted, service was prompt and friendly, food was delicious.
Cons: Even in the dining room the noise was pretty loud. It was sometimes hard to hear across the table. I think the menu is pretty pricey for food that is not unique. I've been to many restaurants that have comparable or more innovative food that are half as much. Also, the sides ordered were not enough for the whole table even though the waiter suggested we order sides for the whole table. They were really only enough for two people and came in small cups.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, particularly for a business event. However, for my own purposes, I think I can find a better value somewhere else.
We went for a business lunch. Service was great. French Onion soup and seafood salad special was delicious. Perfect lunch without feeling to full.
We had a decadent meal. We were there to eat before the Bulls game, and our waiter Ruben got us in and out very well. He moved quickly but professionally. We started with the chocolate bacon appetizer and shellfish tower. For our main course, I had the K.C. cut and my friend had chilled crab legs. The portions were immense and very flavorful. We also had creamed spinach, but make sure you don't order this unlike you really like cream (we did)! I wish we had room for banana cream pie, but we were so full. and also in a hurry to go see the Bulls lose to the Lakers.
Great vibe and decor. The food was outstanding! We loved the tuna tartare and the fried chicken appetizers. A weird combination but somehow it worked. After salads and soup we only had room to share the burger so can't wait to return to try the entrees.
Celebrating Andre’s 50th birthday!! Our server Emilee was amazing, outstanding and kind!!!!
Straight fire and I smashed cheeks
Our waiter made the dinner! I believe his name was Steven. It really took the night up a level!!
the waiter was great (Steve)
however i ordered a bone-in filet medium plus and it came to me almost rare inside. (and it was $72.00)
we were on a time crunch to see a show, so i didnt have time to send back.
Celebrated my birthday this weekend with my family. The service was excellent, our waiter was very helpful and attentive, and the food was delicious. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and lots of banquette seating. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the crab and lobster cake app was really tasty. Will definitely return.
Service was very slow. Steak was prepared rare , should have been medium temp. You would accept better service and meat preparation at those prices. Would not recommend .
Great food but pricey. They should have cups of soup to accompany meal instead of bowls.
Lastly, the hostess stand is a mess. Waited for both to get off the phones while customers wait. They were taking birthday cake orders and so frustrating.
Finally, bartender had to come around and seat us.
Birthday ,very entertaining, excellent wait staff
The service extremely poor. Our server was not attentive at all. He didn't inform us that there were various juice options for the bottomless mimosas. We had to keep reminding him to fill up all of our drinks- water , coffee and mimosas. When we did ask for a refill he would forget- at one point we asked the bus person to get us more coffee and the server told him "yeah can you get them 2 cups of coffee I forgot." And he walked away. He wasn't apologetic nor did he seem to care. After completed frustration I had a conversation with the Manager regarding our concerns It appeared that she had a talk with him and he was doing a decent job for a few minutes until he started forgetting again had a poor attitude. For $60 per person I am expecting the service to be up to par. I recommended this restaurant for my mom's 72nd birthday. I've eaten here for brunch a few times and for dinner. This by far was the worse experience.
It will be a while before we come back.
Ambiance was a beautiful setting but too loud for me. The waiter forgot the soup order. The steak was undercooked.
Great food and excellent service.
Too loud to allow conversation
Great experience. One of the best steaks I’ve had.
Service was great!
Food service was bad , steak was burnt , long wait , no follow up, no apology
A hip place but extremely pricey. Limited menu. Good location in the business loop.
Very nice evening. Excellent food, well informed waiter. Highly recommended!
The food was very expensive and mediocre at best. Best part of the meal was the wine and dessert. I definitely will not recommend or return
Although we thought the food at Prime & Provisions was great the noise level and crowdedness was a real downer. We were seated at a table in a very busy traffic area where tables and chairs were being lifted and carried by us multiple times. We felt like the table behind us was practically on top of us and our server had to repeat things because we couldn't hear her.
The atmosphere was not what we hoped for - we had difficulty having a conversation. Probably will not return.
Great service and great food - will definitely be back
