Glasses were dirty, service was below par, people in the restaurant were there to be seen. Line for the restrooms at 6pm? Told them it was a birthday and they missed everything. We have gone several times before and never disappointed until now. Won’t be back but going to Blackstones, Rothman’s and Capital Grille instead.

Amy the waitress was just a doll. The food was excellent and the service couldn’t have been better

First time here since they renovated the inside. Place is beautiful inside, it was a little too chilly to be outside for long but we did get to sit by the big outdoor fire pit for a little bit. Food was very good over all, and the service at the table as well as the bar was great. Can be a bit pricey but what else would you expect from a popular place on the water in Huntington!

This was our first time at Prime and it did not disappoint. We were seated promptly when we arrived by a very friendly hostess . The decor is very airy and bright which blends seamlessly with the location of the restaurant. This is a very big establishment , they have multiple dinning areas and and beautiful waterfront outdoor patio areas. There were heaters and fireplaces on the outside deck and it was a nice spot for our after dinner drink. Our Server Christine was very pleasant and took great care of us. We did take our time at the table so when we were done eating and only wanted another drink I asked if she needed the table for other customers, she handled the situation very well and offered us a complimentary round for re locating to the bar..which we really didn't mind doing at all. The food was delicious we shared the porterhouse and had french fries and spinach , we could not complain about anything .The bar tender also makes excellent Mojito's

The one recommendation i would make is that , if it is supposed to be a beautiful upscale place is that the bar scene seems to allow for people dressed in jeans below the butt and baseball hats , i get that money is money and people can dress how they like but it does take from the otherwise upscale feel of the the place and Prime definitely charges upscale prices.

It wouldn't be our everyday restaurant or even every week or month but for a special occasion or get together with friends this is a great restaurant

Had the most amazing cod special with calms and petite ravioli! The sauce was a light cream broth. Absolutely heavenly!

Tyler was an amazing server. He has a very pleasant personality and a wonderful sense of humor. His attention to detail was appreciated.

I am a frequent guest at Prime. I sat outside on the patio, enclosed as the heaters were on and it was cozy and comfortable closer to the water views. After about 20 minutes the heaters were turned off and they never went back on. I asked my server three times, to please inquire to turn our heater on. I was celebrating and treating my friend for her birthday. As it became increasingly cold and more uncomfortable, it was essentially taking away from our experience. I hope that requests are taken with sincerity in the future. I have given a very good rating as the hostess, wait staff and all are always very pleasant. Was surprised to be so uncomfortable this time.

Brunch overlooking the water was excellent. Food and service were great. The fig appetizer was exceptional. Overall the great food matched the great view. It was worth driving the extra miles to get there.

Be prepared to spend, but it is worth it. No description of the food will do it justice. Except maybe “perfect.”

This was an anniversary dinner for me and my wife. We had our wedding at Prime and we return whenever we can. They always treat us right and the food never disappoints. This is one of the best steakhouses on LI.

We frequently go to Prime for the Wednesday wine dinner. We always review the no choice 3 course menu beforehand to assure that it includes foods that we enjoy eating. This Wednesday was not an exception. The appetizer was a very tasty mushroom tart , paired with Sauvignon Blanc. Our entree was leek crusted cod...delicious. This was paired with Pinot noir. Dessert was a s’mores eclair, which was very good. The dessert pairing was a muscat. We especially appreciated the exceptional service from Joe C., our waiter. He has impeccable timing with pacing the introduction of the wines and then the food. He is so good at what he does.

Birthday dinner for my daughter, party of 5: not a very busy Friday night as it usually can be as it was a Holiday weekend. Waiter was accommodating, knowledgable and very friendly and helpful. Entrees were prepared to perfection, Scott de fishes were very good, and BD dessert was gratis. A wonderful dining experience as usual. Love Prime !

It was my boyfriends first time at Prime. It was the best gnocchi we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back this Summer and enjoy a meal outside on the water.

Very attentive.

It was fine out huntington week and I would not have gone if I knew that because it was very crowded and the food took longer than usual to come out. We ordered our steak medium well and it came out medium rare and was awful. The waiter did give us free dessert to make up for it but I wasn’t going to order dessert and would have much rather had the steak cooked how I wanted it. We have gone to prime many times for dinner and this was the worst I’ve seen it. I don’t plan to go back for a while.

Service was horrible. Sat with appetizers empty plates for 15 minutes until removed. One steak came out under cooked and they left the sides and other steak to get cold. Removed everything and waited maybe 15 minutes or so for new meals and nothing special for the cost. And on top of it no accommodation made for the bad service or meal.

Once again, Prime proves worthy of its stellar reputation for the finest in steak and sushi...everything was delicious beyond comparison!

I ordered the Delmonico steak with a Parmesan crust and my wife ordered the petite filet mignon with butter poached lobster. Steaks were both perfect and cooked rare, as we asked. We got a side of creamed spinach which was amazing, and a side of skillet potatoes.

I also ordered an appetizer of oysters. They have 4 types of oyster, I ordered 1 of each and all were very good.

For dessert we shared the s’mores Sunday for two which was very good.

I would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner out with your significant other. We made a reservation for 5:30 and it wasn’t very busy yet so they made sure to give us one of the best tables. They definitely care about giving you a good experience.

I was at Prime for my Birthday, and as usual, I was VERY HAPPY with my experience. We sat at the bar for a cocktail or two. Then even though we were a bit early, were able to sit for dinner. The table was VERY nice ... right next to the window. Food and service were excellent. Dessert was amazing as well... ALL in ALL, an EXCELLENT experience.

Always impeccable service, perfectly prepared food, and arguably the most beautiful view on the water in Huntington, this is my 'go to' place for a night out with friends or dining alone.

We had lunch on a Friday to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We selected all items from the day’s specials and they did not disappoint. In fact, the food was outstanding! From a tuna sushi special (without seaweed or rice) to the main course, sole sautéed in brown butter with capers and shallots, to the tri colored carrot side, everything was a foodie’s delight. Although the specials tended to be higher priced than the regular menu, it was worth every penny...
Service was impeccable and they bent over backwards to make sure our experience was great.

Poorly cooked steak. Other customers stood right next to our table and talked for 35 mins in direct earshot of us. Overall experience was not great. Service was excellent. Food and noise not so good
