   The restaurant service and the ambiance are fantastic at Prime on top of the hotel. The food was slightly above average, but we still recommend this gem for the views and the service.

   My wife and I had dinner reservations for New Year’s Eve. When we arrived at the restaurant and were seated the menu stated that dinner that night was $225 per person. This information was never given to us when we made the reservations or when the restaurant called to confirm the reservation. We also weren’t told about the pricing when we checked in that evening. We were planning on spending around $200. Instead our bill was $588 (not including the tip). Had we known that dinner was going to cost $225 per person, we would have never made reservations there. I feel that Prime deliberately withheld this information from customers. The food and service were good, but we will not be going back to Prime again.

   The music is loud and not good dinner music at all. Hard to even have a conversation with the person you are with. Service people are outstanding. and caring. Best part of the dining experience. The food was ok, but not great and for $225.00 per person for New Year's dinner was way overpriced. I did appreciate that the management allowed my date and I to share a meal. We are 85 and 93 years old and barely were able to eat all of a shared meal. At least we didn't waste a lot of food by being able to share. We appreciated the consideration for our needs. Usually the food in the Prime Steak House is very good, but seemed to not be as good on New Year's Eve.

   Took my favorite item off the menu which is disappointing, the sea bass. Please bring it back.

   We have been to prime MANY times and decided on Christmas night to take my in-laws and kids to dinner as a special treat. We were disappointed for the first time ever. Our server was very sub par, steaks were overcooked, and the server at the table behind us split a sauce of some kind which splattered all over my husband and I, to which we had to ask for extra napkins to clean our selves and not even a sorry from anyone. We have never not ordered desert but tonight we just wanted to leave sadly. Very unfortunate to have had this experience on Christmas Day.

   We went here for Christmas dinner. People we met spoke highly of it too. We had a reservation, and were seated within 10 minutes. The restaurant is lovely and the ambiance we upscale and dim lighting made it romantic. Our server was friendly but not very attentive. We went long stretches before he checked on us. Also, we both ordered our filets medium. His was perfect, mine was rare. Server finally came back around and took my steak back. Before he did, he asked me to cut it up the middle and then scrape it onto a different plate vs taking the whole plate back. There was nothing else on the plate. It took a bit to get my steak back, in the meantime my husband shared his. Sides were delicious. When steak came back it was cooked perfectly. No offer to compensate for interruption of the meal. I even confirmed my order with the server before I sent it back. When the server cleared the table to bring out the dessert he left all kinds of crumbs and spills on the table. I had to use my cloth napkin to wipe the table down. A bit disappointing for a fine dining restaurant. Enjoyed the meal when it was finally correct but wouldn’t recommend it for a special occasion.
