Amazing! Ovy’s customer service was one of the best we have experienced. Everything was delicious!
Made a reservation on open table. The table wasn't ready but we were seated anyway just not served for a while. There was probably a 4ft distance to the occupied table next to us. Too close for my taste but I let it slide. It took the waiter almost 20min to get to the table (we were so close to leaving and we should have). Ordered catch of the day and an 8oz filet mignon, medium with asparagus. The fish was over-seasoned but otherwise tasteless. The sides were also drenched in seasoning like their real taste needed to stay hidden. The steak came rare with blood oozing out of it and the asparagus was missing. Asked the steak to be redone (what took some time because catching the waiter was just another challenge) and got back the same piece of meat, totally overcooked. They ruined the steak completely...for $58. That's quite an accomplishment. The drinks were more then just watered down and I had also ordered a glass of Malbec ($13) but never got it. The check wasn't itemised so I learned about being charged for the missing wine later on the open table app. I just paid $200 for a horrible dining experience. I had better food for 20 bucks at a random Applebees. The wait stuff was totally overwelmed even though the place has only a few tables. I had many bad dining experiences in my life but this one will stay on my mind as one of the top 3 of the absolute worst.
It took an hour and a half to get our food. I ordered a filet and lobster. Quality and taste not worth the $80 at all. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Nice place, but my filet was overdone, removed from bill.
It was fine, if you're staying at the Hyatt go for it but I wouldn't make a special trip.
Great atmosphere and service! We had a lovely dinner. A bit on the pricer side - but overall a great experience.
Great meal in a beautiful location. Dinner service at a relaxed pace, but very attentive and cordial. Recommend to any looking for an excellent meal that can relax and enjoy it.
Vacation with family
It took 75 minutes from our reservation time just to get the bread, very slow service throughout.
If you are ordering steak, order it more on the rare side. We ordered ours medium and it came well.
Excelente experiencia, Carlos (Gerente) y su equipo son los mejor del restaurante.
amazing food amazing atmosphere!! Meals between $30-$85 most in $50 range. Can’t wait to go back for a special occasion.
Took an hour to get my appetizers out .. which were raw then another hour past still no main course so at that point I took my stuff to go ... horrible everything was just horrible ...
Good was over priced and the waiting was ridiculous being that there were only five tables being served
I was extremely excited to eat at this location. The ambiance was spectacular however the meal was overpriced and lacked flavor. Honestly the best part was the guava butter and pita bread. I also enjoyed the oysters which were fresh. The lobster bisque was sweet and had no lobster pieces.
The only place to eat at the Hyatt, that actually has service. Loved it.
The food was mediocre At best the steak was diy and Asparagus is mushy
My husband’s birthday
Birthday celebration. Amazing food. Our waiter Carlos was great.
The food was excellent. Great steak! Service was also top notch.
Ambiance was great, but food was way too overpriced for what you received. The desert was the best thing for the amount charged.
My boyfriend and I ate here for dinner and I’m so glad we did! Both of our meals (the porter house 18oz steak and catch of the day) was amazing! The service was also great- the best we’ve had while in PR so far.
The bill was not itemized. Unless you read the small print on the menu you'll never notice you're charged a 16% gratuity. I would rather tip based on service rather than forced. I tend to tip 20-25%
Well; they are trying, trying hard. The food is really less than average and whoever expects for a damn good steak - skip this place. We’ve gave it a try 2 times.
The catch of the day was the salmon! Puerto Rican salmón ; over cooked and vegetables sank in oil! Oh then we’ve gave it another chance with the sushi - it’s ok! Not a good sushi if you’re really into Japanese food in NYC or LA. Anyway; it’s a good place to go if you guys are lazy to look for a place in rio grande
It was a horrible experience from beginning to end. COVID indoors restrictions where not adequate for safe experience. Waited approximately 1 hr for food to come out and it was undercooked (chicken was pink, bloody and center mildly frozen). We where disgusted with the service and the experience but to top it all off it took the waiter 20 more minutes to bring the check when I clearly stated I wanted to leave. Even after experiencing how unpleasing every was restaurant general manager did not have the decency to approach out concern.
Will not recommend to anyone.
Overall is DEFINITELY NOT A 5-star restaurant.
The service was beyond bad. Everyone in the restaurant complained. There was yelling and people walking out. Very disappointing.
My partner enjoyed their seafood, but the steak I received was absolutely terrible. The cut of meat was supposed to be a filet and you can get a nicer filet at a chain restaurant.
We ordered 5 different sushi rolls (8 pieces in each). They all had too much rice so we felt full quick and barely tasted the fish. The air conditioning is high so bring a sweater
I like the vibes of Prime 787. But they are too expensive for the quality. STK in SJ are better quality meat for the value.
The order take too long to arrive and the mix up the meat term. And thats unforgivable 🤷🏻♂️
Prime 787 was a good choice for a Valentines Day dinner. Finding the hotel inside the massive golf complex after dark, and finding the restaurant inside the hotel once we got there, were the biggest challenges, due to there being few signs providing directions. The ambiance was excellent although a bit “retro” and needing an update (my date said it made her think of the old Studio 54). The food was good and beautifully presented, but not quite at the top world-class level of freshness and taste for the price. The service was outstanding; courteous, attentive and efficient. Prime 787 is a top choice for an excellent dinner in Puerto Rico.
Excellent service and the food is lovely
Great choice of meats, the pudin dessert is amazing
Ask for melvin. You won’t regret it! Best man in the house!!!
Excelente comida y Buen Servicio
The food just wasn’t good, especially for the price of our meals.
Service was terrible
Filet was very salty and not cooked to the correct temperature. However fresh naan bread and hanging belly were great.
Dessert also wasn’t that great, the chocolate cake would have been much better warmed up. It tasted dry
Great food and excellent service. Melvin was a great server which helped made the experience even better.
Great service and excellent food!
We had an excellent meal at Prime 787. Mervin took great care of us. Our martini's were incredible and feature tropical local flavors. We had sushi to start which was beautiful, fresh and utterly delicious. Our Salads were equally on point and finally our entrees were scrumptious. Sadly we did not save room for dessert.
