Our steakhouse in Tyler, TX provides an exciting and varied menu for dinner and lunch. We ate the Shrimp Creole Pasta with peppers and it was genuinely delicious. Very filling for a lunch entree. We could have split it for sure. We also enjoyed the grilled salmon on the bed of veggies. I thought the salmon was as a little salty but I don’t use much salt. Maybe an adjustment could be made. The Caesar salad was very nice and came with the baked cheese and anchovies. Also recommend the Butter cake with ice cream. Nice touch for sure. Coffee was on point. We will return. .

What a fantastic restaurant! Everything about it is top notch. Steve and Peri have done a great job and should be proud of what they have created. Take your special someone and go eat here. You will not be disappointed!

Prime 102 in Tyler is in a most interesting setting which is actually listed in the National Register of Historic Places. We were visiting the city to celebrate my birthday and having dinner there made it all the more special. We highly recommend it.

We always love our time at Prime 102. We got our fave waitress, Elsa and she took excellent care of us. And it’s always so nice to say hello to and get a hug from our friend Joe Hale. Food was delicious and the Yellow Rose is always worth a drive into downtown.

I continue to fall more in love with this place! Service is top-notch. The servers are very well-trained and professional. They are well-versed in the menu and know how to make recommendations. The staff knows how to pace a meal to keep it flowing but still give you adequate time to savor and enjoy it—the use of crumb sweepers between courses is perfection. The food is creative but not overdone with fluff and filler. The plating is simple but still crisp and clean. There's a good variety with a little of something for everyone, even if you're not coming for steak. Desert, please do not leave this place without trying something. I have tried every item to date, and they are all well thought out and executed. Deserts are not an afterthought for Prime. Chocolate Cake and Bread Pudding are my personal favorites. The vibe, old-school bank, meets crisp retro classy. Value: It is on the upper end of the dining spectrum, but the quality, artfulness, and top-notch service make it worth every penny. As a side note, they serve lunch during the week, and it is the best value in Tyler. An average dinner for two with an appetizer, salad or soup, entrée, and dessert has cost me around $125-$160.
