Primal Cut Steakhouse
We had never been to this place and I was shocked at how beautiful it was. I will say the woman at the hostess stand definitely didn’t make me feel welcome which made me nervous for the rest of our experience. However the drinks,food,ambiance,service were great. My 12 oz filet was cooked perfectly and the cheesecake was amazing!

Celebrated my husband's birthday there. The food and service was outstanding. Would definitely return.
Enjoyed a great appetizer-firecracker shrimp. Filets were cooked perfectly with a well seasoned crust and the mushroom risotto and au gratin potatoes for sides to share were delicious! Our waiter was knowledgeable about wines and made a great bottle suggestion which we really enjoyed! Overall a great dining experience.
The food was amazing!!! hands down the best steaks we have had in a restaurant in a long time. The staff was great don’t have to wait long for anything and as soon as we were done with a plate it was gone within minutes. The atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back!!

It was very nice
We had a great server and I enjoyed the overall ambiance of the place. The cocktails were sub-par. I had the parmesan crusted pork chop and that was very tasty. My husband ordered the bone-in ribeye and he was very unimpressed with it. It was not cooked correctly and he also said the flavor it was not there. When you go to a steak house you expect a good steak so over all the meal was very disappointing for him.
My service was a little slow, not enough interaction from server as far as refilling drinks/water. Shrimp may have been a little overcooked, bake potatoe was big but not cooked thru (was hard), Brussels sprouts were good and nice size, gumbo was good. Salad portions were small. No options to split bill with large group (system is old)
The experience was very good. Service was prompt. Food was good, no issues.

Got together for my moms bday, there was 3 of us. 2 of the 3 had a great food experience. (Minus an in correct prime trio flavor) My mom the bday girl unfortunately had to return her prime rib. It was incorrectly Cooked. She ordered “medium” and came back “well”. The they brought her a new steak, this one was raw in the center, raw so much it was still shiny and internal temp was colder then room temp.
There was also zero mention of it being her birthday...
So she did not get to eat her actual steak, due to giving up after 2 attempts. Not impressed.

Waitres was short and didn’t take time to understand the order
It was our first time going here. It was our Anniversary and I had a taste for steak and did not feel like cooking it at home.
We started off with an order of Fried Green Tomatoes. The breading had a nice crunch to it and they came with a tangy/spicy sauce. Next time I want to try the Stuffed Mushrooms.
We then had the Ribeye and 3 Filet Medallions (ParmCrusted, Blue Cheese, and Horseradish) Amazing!
Soups - Minestrone and Crab Bisque. I wish I got the Bisque.
The baked potato was huge and the garlic broccoli was delicious. We nibbled on everything so we saved some room for dessert. Their homemade cheesecake and homemade Chocolate Mousse cake. 🤤 Yum!
We took a little of everything home and had leftovers for the next day.
We will definitely go back again. The price was not horrible at all for the feast we had.
Our server seemed disinterested in our table. She did not arrive until 10 minutes after our arrival. She did not know simple questions like what type of oysters they were serving. When she went back and asked all she said was the oysters were either from New Jersey or California.

We went on a Thursday evening and were delighted to find it to be half price wine night. We had the regular filet and rib-eye (not the aged versions). Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Au gratins were very good and a huge portion. Cheesecake for dessert was also excellent. Our server was outstanding. Just be aware, tends to be noisy. Half full when we went and while conversation was not impaired, it still tended to be loud. I imagine on a weekend it would be pretty raucous. Highly recommend it though-great steaks and service, large portions (beware the carrot cake) and nice wine selection. While not inexpensive, value is good considering the quality of the food.
We make this our Anniversary place each year. It's that memorable. We go there other times as well but this was our BIG day each year. We book early - not crowded at all. Service has been wonderful (We love Jessie). The food is always great but this time, greater? The Oysters were THE best we've had ever there. The lobster tail was done perfectly and so flavorful it made the butter taste better! The fillet was so tender I DID cut it with my fork! Done perfectly and a great tasting piece of beef.
Primal Cut is proof that you need not go to Chicago to have a real Steakhouse experience.

The only negative we experienced was that another waitress working that evening. Not our waitress. Came up to the table towards the end of our meal and went to clear our bottle of wine from our table. My wife had to stop her because there was still at least a glass of wine left in the bottle. She said sorry, but I couldn't tell. Then my wife pointed out to me that it wasn't our waitress who did that. I find that a bit peculiar.

I took my parents here for their anniversary and we all enjoyed it very much. Delicious food at a reasonable price for a steakhouse. Everything wasn't ala carte making the prices very acceptable. They also gave my parents a nice anniversary dessert which was very nice. I'll be back for sure.
Primal Cut Steakhouse is a very nice restaurant located in Tinley Park, IL. It is a very comfortable and nicely decorated atmosphere. All of us had ordered steaks which were delicious along with the french onion soup. We do frequently come to Primal Cut and everything I have ordered here was very good.
The kitchen screwed up my order twice (must have been an off night for the cook) but they were quick to fix it and comped me the meal. Still love the place and will be back.
Seriously, everyone..I mean everyone - from the bus boy to the hostess- was super fun, thoughtful, genuine and made for an exceptional night of laughter and friendship. Everyone's food was cooked to perfection and delicious.

Great food & great service. Most importantly its on the Southside so you don’t have to go into Chicago to enjoy a first class steakhouse.
My wife had the bone-in NY strip and she was not pleased with the amount of fat in the steak. It has an abnormal amount of fat in the steak. I had the bone-in Ribeye and it was pretty good although mine did have fat around the edges. Overall we had a good experience and willing to try it again.
