Primal Cut Steakhouse
WE WILL Open SUNDAY DECEMBER 15 AT 2;00 NO BLOODY MARY BAR
Always love going to Primal Cut! Only gripe is scallop appetizer comes with three..:odd number for a couple or even a group of four. Otherwise - amazing.
Compared to other high end steakhouse, kinda pricey. Other venues just as good and not as pricey.
Amazing can't wait to make my way back. Service was excellent the vibe was excellent !!!!! Wonderful and the food was delicious.
The ambiance was nice. It seemed a bit dark away from the windows. The noise level seemed really high. But the food and service was outstanding.
Primal Cut is an unexpected pleasure in downtown Tinley Park. Valet parking is available, restaurant and bar are very clean. Steakhouse vibe and decor, with dark wood and stone walls. The place prides itself on its in house dry aged beef. Huge Fred Flintstone bone in cuts of meat are displayed near the entrance. Neat! We were seated and greeted within minutes of arrival. Full bar with house specialty drinks, we did not explore the wine list. Server was very knowledgeable and pleasant, but not intrusive. We did not get bread for the table ‘til requested. Soups were House made and tasty. We enjoyed a petite filet and Chilean sea bass, with grilled asparagus and redskin mashed potatoes. All were tasty and done to perfection. We were informed that all desserts were made fresh in house every morning-nice! We tried the carrot cake (Key Lime pie was sold out), which was a HUGE portion! We ended the meal with a couple of cappuccinos, a nice end to a great meal. We will likely return!
First time here and had a pretty good experience. Service was a little spotty but she had personality so that kinda made up for her lack of attention to us.
We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer and would NOT recommend it. Not a lot of crab at all and was more cream cheese than anything. The bread for it was way too thick and dense. Blah!
Ribeye was good. A little grainy for my liking so I’ll try a different cut next time. Crab cake entree was okay at best but my husband enjoyed them. We got the lobster Mac and cheese for a side and it was really delicious. It’s a HUGE side so well worth the upgrade!
We’ll go back to try more off the menu.
Excellent er usual
Downtown Chicago ambiance of the restaurant, extensive wine selection, my boyfriends steak was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed my vegetarian options. We will be back!
We had been here twice before, really has go e down since. Hostess was rude server obnoxious! Couldnt wait to leave!
Ordered mussels , worst I've ever had, also got sick from food 2 hrs later. Steak and all other food was delicious. Server was slow on drinks.
Food and service was very good prices were great. If you are looking for a steak restaurant in the south suburbs I would highly recommend this one
The food was fantastic. The service was excellent. We had so much fun with the upbeat staff. No only was our server great but the other servers were willing to help anytime needed and they all had great personalities. Can't wait to go back. Want to try about everything on the menu.
A little pricey for a neighborhood place. Food, service and atmosphere were very good.
Overall, a good experience. The food and service were great. Our server was knowledgeable and made wonderful drink and dessert suggestions. We had the filet trio with garlic mashed and the parmesan crusted pork chops with lobster mac and cheese. Both meat items were fantastic, lobster mac and cheese was good and the garlic mashed were ok, nothing special. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that our meal was very rushed, we were in and out in about an hour.
Service was excellent from the front of the house to table. Wait staff was thorough and attentive.
Waitress was amazing and food was great over heard one of the hostess tell customers that had already backed up and were getting ready to leave that someone was waiting for that table. The couple with their family wasnt happy at all. It was very rude to rush them out, plus no one came and sat at the table for a good 15 minutes. I ordered shrimp and my husband got steak, they packed both of our left overs together which made my shrimp soggy.
Second of many more times I will be visiting. Food is excellent, and the service is extraordinary
The food is pretty decent for the price. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere for a fun Friday evening.
The restaurant is beautiful encased with walls of wine bottles and aging steaks. Exemplary service from the moment you walk through the door until you exit. The food was amazing! My date and I had the crab-stuffed mushrooms, crab bisque, swordfish and chicken Marsala. Everything was delicious. We ended the night with a chunk, I’m sorry a slice of carrot cake which was amazing. The food and service was so good, I took my sister back to enjoy the Wednesday night prime rib and house wine special. This place is a gem!
The carrot cake was amazing! Delicious! Prime rib was good. Love salad and theirs was fresh and presented well! The hamburger is very good! Staff was great!
Very good food. Very good service. The only thing I did not care for was it was too dark.
Awesome food, drinks and service. Definitely will be back.
My husband and I went for our anniversary. The food was pretty good, but my steak wasn’t as flavorful as I hoped it would be. The food was pricy, but not terrible for a once a year splurge. The service was outstanding! Our server was prompt and polite.
We came to hear Eli and Abner perform on a Friday night in the bar. They were great!
Had the Hawaiian mahi mahi. There was absolutely no taste. Nothing Hawaiian about it. My husband had the pork chops. They were excellent. Waiter never asked how our food was. Busboy packed up a to go box so waiter didn’t see that I was taking most home. Mango pineapple salsa cured it. Tables really close and you could hear the tables whole conversation.
Food was very good and cooked to perfection. I would recommend the Key lime pie as well. Very good!
I have eaten here three times. The food is consistently good. The service, however, lacks. Servers are slow (once I had to search the restaurant to track down my server to get the check after waiting for 25 minutes for her to return to the table), and the staff is not as friendly as you would normally see at upscale steak houses. So, if you want a good steak (and great Caesar salad), this is a nice option. But be prepared for slow and only moderately friendly service.
A little pricey but a great meal and great service!!
Good food good service celebrated my husband birthday dinner here he got a birthday dessert and was happy with my choice of restaurant
15 year wedding anniversary
Prime Rib was cooked to perfection. Great service from the wait staff and busboys.
the service was bad...very slow. the food was fair but not great as reviewed. the main issue was their advertisement of a 30% off "Industry" night on Mondays. this was our reason to give them a second chance. we watch as 2 other tables asked about this "discount" and were no given it. they are very cryptic with an explanation of "industry night". i feel confident that this restaurant lost 3 customers over this 30% deal.
plenty of other restaurants to choose from
We were clear to the waitress that my husband did not eat onions or garlic. Substituted fried green tomatoes for the garlic sauteed spinach that came with parmesan crusted pork chops. Dinner came with the spinach so they took it back. Then reordered chops with no parmesan crust because the chef must have told the waitress that had garlic in it. They had run out of pork chops so he ordered steak ($52). Told waitress we would take steak home at this point because we ended splitting my filet and potato and my dinner was finished. Tried to get chocolate dessert but they were out of that also. At that point we paid and left. Got charged for tomatoes that were supposed to be a substitute for spinach, and they sent us home with steak only, not even a potato or garnish.
We do go out often and will never go back to Primal Cut. We feel that when you go out for a fine meal for two and spend almost $100 for those two steak meals, the service person should be knowledgeable about the menu and the manager should have come over to apologize.
It was me and my moms first time. And i just wanted to take her somewhere. The food was good, i love the setting. We was relaxed and i would definitely go back !
Celebrated two birthday. Our entrees were excellent. Waitress was great also. Will definitely return.
Cozy and modern place with great food and friendly service.
The manager was not the most professional or welcoming. She didn’t even say hello when we walked in. Grabbed our check off the table without even speaking to us and put it back again without even acknowledging us!
Our waitress and bus boy were outstanding!
This definitely made up for the not so professional or friendly manager!
Food was good. Bar area was nice with good entertainment.
The food was excellent and the ambiance was first rate...I absolutely loved the background music, it was like one of my playlists!
Great evening celebrating our anniversary. Food was outstanding! Thank you to our server for the complimentary dessert!
Good food and great service
What more could you want
