It was wonderful but acoustics were terrible. When our wait person couldn’t hear us when ordering, that’s a problem. But the service was very good, the host came around to talk a U.S. a few times. So the experience overall was very good. Food was delicious!!

Reservation at 5:00pm. Arrived at4:45 and seated promptly. Moved us to a booth upon our request but waitress didn’t realize we were in her section so waited 20 min. to get waited on which was fine. After sitting there for 45 min. We still had no food. Totally unacceptable as we were probably the 3rd party at this restaurant’s opening. Asked for manager who did make sure our food came out promptly. Food was good and she did give us a free dessert for the wait.

Beautiful place, the food was excellent. Only issue is that it is a little loud, so I would avoid peak times if you are hard of hearing/trying looking to have an intimate conversation with your party.

I recently dined at Prima, and while there were some positive aspects to the experience, a few key elements fell short of expectations. I ordered the ribeye steak medium, but it initially arrived well done. I brought this to the attention of the waiter, who responded promptly and professionally, offering sincere apologies and assuring me a new steak would be prepared. I appreciated the quick response and good service in that regard. However the steak was not as good as it should be for an Italian steak restaurant. The pasta dish was decent—nothing particularly memorable, but it was cooked well and seasoned adequately. However, one consistent issue across multiple dishes was the overuse of a green garnish, which didn’t contribute much to the flavor and felt more decorative than functional. Dessert was another area of concern. I opted for the cannoli, but it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. For a relatively simple dessert, the wait felt unusually long, and unfortunately, the payoff didn’t quite match the delay. Overall, while the staff was courteous and responsive, the food itself didn’t quite live up to expectations. With a few adjustments, particularly in timing and flavor balance, I believe the restaurant has potential if they keep it simple.

I have dined at Prima a few times and every time the food and drinks are phenomenal. The service was very good as well. The tiramisu martini is a must try and was so so good! Will being going back soon for sure as it is always a good experience!

There are lots of great Italian restaurants in Boston but this place shined. I was expecting a more low-key environment but this was very energetic. The service was great, the food was fantastic, and the setting is great with lots of character. I have spent the majority of my adult life seeking out great restaurants in every city and town I am in and there are some meals that are transcendent - ones I can’t forget. This was one. I ordered the veal chop parmesan. Now something so simple would normally not rock my food world, but this was special. It was huge, with the bone in and the veal was prepared perfectly, the sauce was simple and not overpowering and the charred cheese added the perfect punch. My wife didn’t think I could eat it all and I actually could have eaten 2. Absolutely fantastic.
