The Prickly Pear Café has been an Ann Arbor favorite since first opening in 1991. The menu features many southwest inspired specialties. Mexican favorites are given a unique twist including many vegetarian options and outstanding soups and salads. The butternut squash soup is famous locally, while the buffalo meat enchiladas even merited mention in Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps’ autobiography.
