Prezza Ratings and Reviews
Prezza far exceeded our expectations. Service was excellent along with an explanation in detail of the questions asked about the entrees.
The quality of appetizers as well as the entrees was outstanding. This restaurant far exceeded our expectations. Prezza is a Homerun
I've been to a fair number of restaurants in the North End and this has not been one of my favorites. While I had a normal meal at Prezza, I personally think there are a ton of better restaurants at a better value. The price point for my pasta dish was pretty high and I did not get much pasta at all. I also had a 9pm reservation and was done with my meal by 9:30 - partially my fault but I could also tell our waitress was enthusiastic about finishing up her night and getting out of the there (I don't really blame her). Overall, I was a little surprised and disappointed by my experience.
I had high expectations after hearing they make their own pasta in house. The appetizer I ordered (beets over ricotta) was excellent, however the restaurant was out of lobster ravioli before 9PM on a Friday, and the clam tagliatelle I ordered was subpar considering how the pasta was homemade. Desserts were pretty good but I was a little disappointed in this meal considering the price.
Prezza was an incredible dining experience from start to finish! The food was unlike we have ever had before and our waiter was very knowledegable and not afraid to make suggestions.
The atmosphere is cozy but also ample space so that you can hear your dining partner talk.
We will certainly be returning to Prezza again, for sure! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a superb fine dining experience in the North End!
Food was exceptionally good. The raviolo di uovo was sublime, and the cod oreganato a killer combination of leeks, potatoes and cod. A bit more upscale than the average place in this neighborhood, and a little light on traditional pasta dishes. But clearly home to a talented chef, and would not hesitate to recommend.
I was happy with the creative menu and service provided at Prezza, unfortunately my Lobster Ravioli was not handled well. I ended becoming ill from my dinner at roughly 1AM until 3PM the following day. I dined with my boyfriend who had the pork chop and had no challenges. I am sure this was a one-off, however was disappointing after the great service and ambience of the evening.
Always outstanding. Ate w my 16 year old son prior to C's game. Traffic was awful but they were very nice about holding our reservation when I called to tell them I was running late. Service and food were excellent and the server made sure that we received our appetizers and entrées quickly as they came out the kitchen so we could make the start of the game after our delayed start. I've eaten here about half a dozen times in the last year and it is always great. Highly recommended.
Great North End restaurant with a full bar! Best Cosmo Ever! I had the Fish Stew which was loaded with seafood......delicious! Hubby had the pork chop with a side of meatball. He ate every last bite! Too bad we had no room for dessert as I have heard they are fantastic! This is now our favorite restaurant in the North End!
Recommended by a friend as a great spot for Italian in the North End Prezza does not disappoint. We shared the spinach salad which was so fresh and flavorful and also their amazing Arancini. I got the Raviolo Uovo, which is one of the house specialties and I swear I could have licked the plate and my husband got the gnocchi bolognese because he is a huge bolognese fan and he said it was great. Fantastic cocktails to start off the evening and good wines by the glass and vin santo with our dessert. All in all our best meal in Boston. And great service to boot. Highly recommend for super Italian and a wonderful dining experience.
Prezza is a great spot to experience authetic, delicious food in Boston’s North End. It is not on the main street (Hanover St), which gives it less of a “touristy” feel; it is, nonetheless easily accessible. The appetizers are creative and tasty. They have a great way with arancini. The main courses vary by season and chef inclinations; nicely prepared, appropriate portions, delicious. We were too satiated to have dessert, but they looked wonderful. The wine list is good, including nice choices by the glass (even a Barolo by the glass, which I seldom see).
The service was friendly, helpful and appropriately paced. Prezza has a somewhat noisy ambience, which actually seems just right for a vibrant neighborhood restaurant.
I highly recommend Prezza as a great spot to experience the best of Boston’s North End. Buon appetito!
Prezza is a bit more upscale than most North End restaurants. Their menu is smaller, more creative, and quite a bit more expensive if you order lamb, duck, or other meat entrees. That said, our dinner was very good. Our waiter, who was Italian, couldn't have been nicer. A large group at a nearby table made the noise level too high, but it is no doubt normally calmer.
Service was excellent. Sarah G helped me with wonderful wine choices, explained appetizers. Nice manner, very pleasant & attentive. Also, didn’t rush us. One of the best servers I’ve ever had.
Food was fantastic. For appetizers we had wood grilled octopus & squid, crispy shrimp & buffalo mozzarella. Table favorite was the seafood stew which is very impressive while the veal Milanese I ordered was perfect. Polenta & asparagus sides were very good. Deserts included raspberry sorbet, creme brûlée & chocolate flourless cake.
Highly recommend Prezza!
