We were really excited about this reservation. I wrote ahead to let them know that we were celebrating our anniversary, and thought they would do something special (or just acknowledge it when we arrived). Not only did they not mention it, but our service was really disappointing. Our server left us sitting at the table for a long time without asking if we wanted drinks or appetizers, she poured water for half of our table, then forgot about the other half until she came back 10 min later to finally take our drink/appetizers order. She forgot that order before she even got to the bar, and had to ask us 2 times to repeat it. She also forgot our dinner order and didn’t even enter our appetizers, so we missed out on those. The restaurant was very loud, and no one seemed to care about customer service. An elderly man was in physical distress near the bathroom and I saw several employees walk past without asking to assist, so finally my husband brought his chair over to let the man rest before he fell over. We paid over $500 for our dinner, and didn’t get the service we expected. The only saving grace was the decor, food and cocktail menus. Not sure I’d bother going though, they don’t justify the prices or poor service.

Went for brunch. The vibe was good, nice, upscale. The menu got us excited but was let down once we ate. The portions were good but overall the flavor was a let down especially for the price. $38 for eggs Benedict with prosciutto because it has caviar on it. Not worth it. The prosciutto was tough and hard to chew through. Everyone else wasn’t too impressed with the food. Drinks were really good! And the staff was really nice. Just wish the food was better, at least for the price.

Seated right away and staff was pleasant. The ambience can't be beat though it is, as many have stated, remarkably loud. The craft cocktails from the menu were excellent and really well balanced. Poke nachos were the highlight of our meal. The pork katsu was crunchy but dry and was served with a sauce and baby potatoes that seemed out of place. The salmon was just plain salmon with a 45 dollar price tag, nothing special. The bill did not reflect the quality of food we should have received. Go for the drinks and the pole nachos. Go somewhere else for dinner.

Another great dinner at The Pressroom. This time we tried the brie appetizer and my favorite, ahi poke with chips. The brie was great but could have used maybe 4 more slices of toast as the cheesy bake was way too much for 5 slices of bread. We had the pork katsu, chicken, the burger and the steak salad which were all amazing. Cocktails were also on point.

There’s a new kid in town and it brings color, flavor combinations and texture to your palet. We had the pork belly as appetizer and it was delicious, great combo of flavors and very well presented. The main course was salmon and braised pork. Both prepared to perfection. Portion size was just right. Our drinks were delicious and perfectly balanced.
