PRESSROOM Amsterdam is a restaurant located in the heart of Amsterdam with a story. Not just any story; the first page dates back to 1904 when our building became the base of Dutch newspaper ‘De Tijd’.

With a history like that, it’s no surprise PRESSROOM is still a place ‘’where stories are yet to be written’’. Today, this rich history is translated into a relaxed dining experience with a modern and personal approach. In 2023, PRESSROOM has been awarded with three prestigious awards concerning the cuisine and the design of the restaurant.

PRESSROOM Amsterdam lives from early morning until late at night simply because: the story must go on. The menu consists of modern classics with local ingredients and tasteful flavors that merge into perfect combinations on your plate.

Please be aware that Restaurant PRESSROOM Amsterdam is open from Monday to Sunday from 07:00 to 22:00 and starting as of April 7th on Sundays from 07:00 to 17:30.

We’re ready for you! We’re serving a special brunch menu, with poached eggs, avocado toast and sweet treats like American pancakes. The bottomless brunch package includes: two brunch dishes, unlimited sparkling wine, and 1 cocktail for €49,- p.p We offer our Bottomless Brunch in two shifts, at 12:00 and at 14:30. Be sure to be on time. You have two hours of unlimited fun. You can stay longer, but then we will charge you for your refills. If the weather is good enough we offer seats & brunch in our inner courtyard. Birthday, bachelor party or baby shower? Celebrate with a group during the Bottomless Brunch! Das Essen war sehr gut und auch schön präsentiert. Es gab nur ein 3 Gänge Menu aus dem man dann aber jeweils 3 Stück zur Auswahl hatte.

We liked the restaurant when we first entered, relaxed and friendly, good ambiance. The restaurant is small and the menu is quite brief but having checked that online before we went, was fine. Sadly the main courses were poor, risotto was undercooked with hard rice and the steaks we ordered ( meat was fine) came with nothing else apart from 6 peas! The manager apologized and the food was fixed but not good to send food from the kitchen like that.

Little hard to find but what a find. The service was impeccable and the food different and excellent. I had the fish with cucumber with cavier and it was excellent.

De sfeer was heel goed. Het eten apart. Alles een beetje luxe. Het eten was anders dan wat we gewend zijn, maar wel heel lekker en origineel. We hebben een prima avond uit gehad. Mijn man en ik waren zeer tevreden. De bediening was uitstekend. Voorkomend en beleefd. De wijn was goed. Paste wel bij de gerechten. Het dessert was heel weinig en wel duur. We hadden graag ijs gehad na afloop, maar dat was er niet. Dat was wel jammer. Maar alles bij elkaar was het prima.

We had dinner here during our recent visit and found the food to be excellent. The service was slow and the staff told us they had not expected so many people that evening, but they spent time clearing tables while we tried to get someone's attention so management of time could be improved. The restaurant is lovely and the staff are very friendly and speak excellent English. They helped us address some dietary restrictions that was really helpful. The night we were there we were surrounded by tourists. We like to eat in places frequented by locals so that was a bit disappointing, but it could have been a coincidence.
