Press Club is a record bar and cocktail lounge with a focus on the curation of guest experience and providing maximum levels of hospitality. The name is an homage to DC while also evoking the pressing of records and the ingredients used to craft our cocktails.

Our Playlist Experience is a four course cocktail tasting flight featuring culinary techniques and seasonal ingredients. Each cocktail will be paired with accompanying snacks from our kitchen.

Our standard reservations are for an a la carte experience featuring our cocktails and izakaya bites.

To reserve for parties of 6 or more, please email us as hospitality@pressclubdc.com.

The standard duration of this experience is one hour and thirty minutes. This time has been carefully chosen to accommodate the full range of our delicious cocktails and unique ambiance.

Join us for our “Discovery” tasting menu, a celebration of Daft’s Punk iconic second album in the form of a three course cocktail flight. Each cocktail incorporates the influences and themes of Discovery featuring seasonal ingredients, adventurous techniques and comes with a selection of small bites from our kitchen. $70 per Person (Service Charge & Tax not included)

Just like Godzilla, Press Club is mutating into something new as we morph into Bar Kaiju on Monday, June 30th. Bar Kaiju is an amazing Miami cocktail bar created by award winning bartender Derek Stilmann. It is known for its monster-themed concept, a playful homage to it's namesake, the giant monsters of Japanese cinema. Recently named 77th best bar in North America by the 2025 50 Best Bars list, this is your chance to step into the red light and enjoy some delicious cocktails featuring Aberfeldy Scotch, Patron Tequila and D'Ussé cognac. As always, walk-ins are welcome but reservations are encouraged.

Excellent experience as always. Look for some broadening of healthy snacks when possible. Last evenings cocktails stood out from the visiting bartenders from Houston.

Press Club was phenomenal! From the drinks, to the food, and the service, everything was such a vibe. The Wagyu skewers are a must!

This was my fourth or fifth trip to the best bar in my neighborhood (arguably in the city, but I love being able to walk in sometimes), and the first guest/special event. Everything was as good as their standard menu, and with the camaraderie between those who knew the guest almost made the ambiance better! Incredible fried chicken (also great on the regular menu), and our party had 3 of the 4 specials - ALL amazing, especially the Last Night in Kyoto (IIRC) with gin. The party of 3 all finished up with a round of those, and are still talking about it.

Tucked away in the heart of Washington, DC, Press Club is the definition of cute and chic. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance feels effortlessly stylish—warm lighting, plush seating, and a vibe that feels both upscale and welcoming. We came to try their new tasting menu, which features four expertly crafted cocktails paired with four small bites, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. Each drink was not only visually stunning but layered with thoughtful flavors—clearly made by a team that knows their craft. The pairings were just as impressive: inventive, flavorful, and perfectly portioned to complement the cocktails without overwhelming them.
