Father’s Day- wonderful brunch. Great food and great service.
The first time I had the opportunity to eat at present company, the experience was exquisite. I went with friends and from the food to the staff was incredible. It was so good, I had to go again. They were above and beyond with my kid as well. Both times the wait staff was always helpful and knowledgeable about their menu. Their menus often change so you could have new experiences everytime you go. I will be going again! I look forward to seeing the staff and eating/trying the new concoctions they create. Thank you again for the wonderful evenings you guys have provided.
We love Present Company and often go for dinner when we land at Bradley as a little treat upon returning from vacation. This time we went for their occasional Burger Night, and it was amazing. A burger, salad, dessert, and a glass of wine/beer for $25. Best value in town and the best burger in town. We love this restaurant always, but Burger Night is a fun treat, too.
Our dinners were delicious. The wine was fantastic. Our service was friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming.
We always enjoy Present Company. There’s nothing like sitting at the Chefs counter. Watching the meals getting prepared and socializing with everyone is awesome! Tom and Jeffrey are always accommodating. Can’t wait to go back. 😃
Best food I’ve had yet in ct. it’s pricey but so worth it. Go there. You won’t regret it
Ive been 4 times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Love the tasting menu - especially if two people share their choices. You really get to experience so many flavors. Owners and waitstaff were incredibly attentive and engaging. Wine list is short and comprehensive - tasteful and smart! We gave options to our waitress and she chose a great bottle for what we ordered.
This visit was my boyfriend's and my anniversary celebration dinner. We always have an amazing experience from the service to the food and it's been one of our (and only) repeat places that we go to as often as possible.
Food and service were excellent. The seabass and carrot cake were my favorites.
I visit Present Company whenever I visit Windsor Locks and simply pick any food from the menu. So far none of them disappointed me!! One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been!!
Our third visit and the meal didn't disappoint as usually. Great staff, Allyssa is fantastic!
6 of us all our food and no one left hungry.
This was such a pleasant surprise! The tasting menu was excellent - the portions were bigger than expected, flawlessly prepared and delicious. The best thing about it was that my wife, who is a vegetarian, had just as many perfectly prepared choices as I did! It’s so nice to be able to eat out and have everyone feel like they are experiencing the same fine level of dining, without vegetarians being limited to only one or two choices. Yay!! Well done! We will be back!
First time and we’ll be back! Every course was interesting and delicious. Chef’s tasting menu and wine pairs was great!
The food was the best I have had in a long time. The prix fixe menu had some very interesting options and it was more food than I could eat but my group also split a dessert - carrot cake - and that was excellent. The butter and bread was so delicious I think the butter was whipped with Fines herbs. Definitely recommend this place for special occasions and just a great night out! Wine was good too! Loved it!!
Found Present Company more casual than we'd expected. Music was way too loud and to converse people had to speak loudly- hence it was very loud! Our table was sticky - silverware stuck to the table. Overall, food was presented nicely. My halibut was prepared well but my husband's hanger steak was quite tough. Staff was pleasant. Bottom line - it was expensive given our experience.
Wish I'd found this gem sooner!!! Delicious and healthy! Loved being able to try a variety of foods. Do wish they had a full bar or something more than beer and wine.
Actually, I dined at Present Company twice within a single week. On the first occasion, the soft shell crab was undistinguished - and there was but a single crab making the meal overpriced. On the second occasion, the calamari was tasteless and the risotto was bitter. We had a Barolo that was half price - it was mediocre. On top of which, there was recorded rock music playing so loud that we had difficulty in engaging in conversation. With the prices present Company charges (and we have eaten there on many occasions), we expected more. I will likely not return.
Love this restaurant!
You feel welcome & special and that’s before you even have a bite of food!
This is how dining should always be!
Wonderful little restaurant. Lovely ambience, excellent service, and delicious food - all at a great price.
Best food in the valley!! Very talented chef, wonderful service! Would highly recommend!!
Food was unique and well prepared. A nice change from the traditional restaurants in Farmington Valley.
Great place for special occasions and date night. Hopefully it will be around for years to come.
I’ve been to present co before, but we took my family there for mother’s day, and they were all impressed! All the food is amazing, and the service is great. Prices are very fair for the food and service!
Very cozy. The staff was extremely attentive. The food was extremely well prepared. Innovative menu. Our entire party felt that their choices were outstanding. Always a winner.
Once again, Chef and his staff provided a one of a kind experience. The Spring menu is full of great choices and the ambiance is driven by loyal regulars who never allow you to feel like you are dining alone. The staff make sure your every need is met and takes great care to be sensitive to allergies and sensitivities. If you haven't been, you should. if you have been, get back as soon as you can. this place is always changing and evolving.
This restaurant only offers a pre fix menu for dinner. I was not aware of that when booking. The dinner took 2 hours to be served all 3 courses. The food was good but in my opinion it is very expensive and they only serve beer and wine
Exceeds expectations every time, and always something new and exceptional. For example, the ramp pasta was deeply flavorful and prepared from ramps picked in the woods nearby.
Creative and delicious offerings and excellent service, as always.
Chef’s tasting was amazing! It was a very special meal, even adapted to a dietary restriction.
As always, the service and food was superb, Excellent.
Had an absolutely wonderful time! We sat at the counter and got to chat with the chefs while we ate. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back!
A real gastronomic treat. Weekday special prix fixe meals make it a must to sample this remarkably good cuisine. Laid back atmosphere and very accessible culinary team is a welcome plus.
Chef Jeff and his team offer an intimate dining experience. The food is always new and exciting. The staff is fun and knowledgeable. Love it.
This restaurant continues to impress
The creativity and passion for what they do is incredible
Will always return!
Excellent creative cuisine, as always, in a comfortable and relaxed setting. This is restaurant is a standout!
There is no better restaurant in the area. All of expectations were surpassed. The food is phenomenal and the service the matches.
Service is great, food is excellent. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
We had the tasting menue with wine pairing. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding. We are looking forward to eating here again.
The food would likely have been very good, but it was coated in lemon sauce which over-powered any other flavor (two different dishes, both tasted like lemon). Good service, but not worth the money for the small portions of mediocre food
In turns out the last time we had been to this location it was another restaurant called the Mill at 2T. It also turns out we dined that night with the same couple who joined us this night.
The food at Present Company is what this restaurant is about. While the surroundings are cozy, it's the kitchen that draws diners. I enjoyed duck breast, which was superbly prepared and which I devoured every morsel. Another of our party was delighted with the vegetarian entree, Roasted Root Vegetable Wellington. The waitress said that it's so good many non-vegetarians order it.
While the kitchen excels, the waitstaff at times seemed a bit stressed. Two of us were served our drinks, while the other two had to wait an awkward five minutes or so for theirs. At last a toast was made. But then, a similar experience with our salads: only three were served while the fourth guest had to remind our waitress that one was missing.
The setting is warm and friendly, but the acoustics are challenging. It was difficult communicating across the table, not to mention communicating with our waitress.
It was too noisy for the three of us - two of us in our late sixties.
We loved the food, but being required to buy three courses each seems a little much to us.
