Excellent venue. I suggest everyone to try it. The Brunch was wonderful
2nd visit. Not as good as the first. Moving chairs around upstairs in event room was distracting. Service was not as prompt. Not as professional as first visit. Food was good but Luke warm. Probably won’t go back for awhile.
This was overall a huge disappointment. The ambiance feels like a Mexican all inclusive, cheesy venue. The light is too bright and there’s a huge, wall sized tv screen that had a fake fireplace scene. There was only 1 server for the entire restaurant and she was short with customers and would scream at the kitchen staff, which made it very uncomfortable for people. Water was not refilled. 2nd drinks were not offered. Food was subpar at best. Temperature was off. My salmon was bland and the vegetable medley underneath was refrigerator cold and did not match the Menu descriptions. Rack of lamb came out at burnt lamb chops. Grilled octopus did not seem fresh at all and I was truly scared to eat it.
Not sure if this is a family run operation, but an older couple in an adidas track suit/stretch pants was serving dishes and circulating around the room. The chef did offer to reheat my dinner but it was not even worth the trouble.
For a prime location in Bexley, our expectations were too high, I guess. And we learned that there was a reason they had same day reservations on Valentine’s Day weekend, while no one else did.
The food was delicious but it was a very odd experience. I think the majority of the employees must be related and it's hard to describe the atmosphere but it felt a little like we were eating at a fancy table in the middle of their living room. Like, I would not have been shocked if the cook decided to take a quick break by reclining at the table next to us playing candy crush at full volume on his phone while our server politely told us it would just be a few more minutes.
Great time ... we really enjoyed the night and the place looked amazing
David and the team make you feel at home. Food is awesome
Not a good experience. I took my wife her for a surprise Valentine's Day dinner. We walked in, heard live music with a big screen that displayed winter scenery. So far so good. The menu presented said Valentine's couple din er $50.00. Then said 1 choice per appetizer, entree and dessert....1 choice per couple., ie. We had to "share" our choices. Ok sid not see this adverised any where. oh, ok...they didnt say that in the description. So that was fine, IF they give you enough for two people to share. Which by looking at the dishes coming out, they did not. So we ended up paying $100.00 for 2 meals.
Our appetizer was very late coming out....the waitress apologized and said the owner gave it to his friends that were dining there! WHAT!??
We then noticed a totally different menue offered to the owners friends. Lamb, pasta, huge salad, tiramisu dessert (we had a choice of 3 types on the Valentine menu). We asked the waitress *(who was very nice). She apologized. We figured that since the the other table were friends of the owner thwy were allowed ro choose what theybwanted from a different menu ( not right). Maybe thts why our food was so late coming out.The waitress apologized agai again and again. No fault of hers. The owner never came around to speak to his customers. Just talked to the special table with his friends. The food was "ok" but for that price and the lack of choices and courtesy, we will not go there again.
To the owner: NEVER flaunt special treatment to friends in front of paying customers and treat those paying customers with less courtesy simply bc they are not your "friends." It is your paying customers that keeps your restaurant in business...not simply the people you know.
The cuisine is interesting and plated beautifully. We visited on Valentines Day which was probably busier than usual. The filet carpaccio and beet salad are great starters. We also had the lamb and the filet mignon which were delicious. Service was friendly, but bussers were not available so our server had to do most everything except run the food. This is a family owned and operated restaurant with a loyal following. The owners are charming and gracious.
The most horrible experience. I went with a group of friends for “gal-entines” day. There was a pre-fix menu, with a VERY small selection! This menu was not advertised when we made the reservation! Honestly, that would have been fine, but we were forced to eat out of the SAME bowl. That would be gross if I were with the love of my life! Plus, the 7 noodles in the 1 pasta bowl was not enough to feed a small child. For $50, it was ridiculous!!! And the atmosphere was completely cheesy with strobe lights and heart lights bouncing off the walls. So, so disappointing!!! No wonder there were so many open tables!! Bad, bad , bad!!
This restaurant misses pretty badly in all categories
We went for Val day and the food portion per couple was enough for one person. I'd rather pay full price to be full then this and be hungry still after leaving.
Great place. Neighborhood gem. Our food was delicious. Service was top notch. Great value. Will return.
Amazing experience! One of our favorite date night spots. Will definitely be back for the Octopus, drinks, and service.
We had an excellent time. It was our first experience and we will definitely be back. I’m surprised more people weren’t there but it actually made it more enjoyable because we were able to talk with the majority of the staff. It’s a family operation and they’re all very kind, generous and passionate people. They made us feel very welcome and also helped our young girls to feel special by including them in the holiday festivities upstairs. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful dining experience. Food was great. Village salad was so fresh& tasty. Would highly recommend shrimp scampi& the halubut. Our server was very friendly& helpful. Loved the entertainment too. The singer, Louise Salvador, had a beautiful voice& the jazz style made for an enjoyable evening. Would definitely go back.
Food and service was awesome. First there, will definitely be back!
Nice dinner and ambience. I recommend the place!
The menu had a great selection of choices. I'll have to go back to try more as the items I ordered were all great!!! The prices are very reasonable for fine dining.
We were greeted when we entered the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There were a lot of food options to choose from. Our food was prepared and served in a timely manner. We all enjoyed the meals we ordered. We plan to tell our friends about your restaurant and are looking forward to returning to eat again soon.
This is a non-restaurant. Don't go here. We were the only people in the restaurant. There was no chef. The bartender did the cooking.
The food and service were absolutely incredible! My only feedback would be: the ambiance seemed a little stale. The lights were too bright and it felt a little like a cafeteria on the inside. Maybe put up art work to make it feel a little more cozy. There was also a loud group in the corner but it wasn't too bad. The food and service were spot on.
Food was fresh and delicious. I learned that the restaurant was recently sold to a new owner who intends on changing most of the menu. This will be sad unless is is with the same chef(s) who made our experience a good one.
Our foursome found this eatery to meet all our expectations. While they seemed a little slower than expected we started off with well crafted cocktails and it got better from there. Fresh bread with a wide app selection was followed by entrees that were wide ranging and all four of our dinners were well prepared and tasted great. Desserts were a bit low key but very satisfying. We talked to the new owner and the chef and they shared their emerging concepts with us. Exciting. We will be back to see how they execute. Don't miss a nice night out.
Went for a Sunday brunch - great food and service. Quite a surprise for a Bexley location - the quality of food and service was equal or better than any of the "hip" brunch spots in the Short North. Looking forward to going back next week.
Amazing food. Great service. Loved the ambiance. Keep on trucking!!
Second time we have dined there in the last month. Both times the food has been excellent as has the service. Definitely recommend.
A mixed bag. Steak and homemade steak sauce was great. Mashed potatoes blah
Beautifully decorated restaurant. The menu had lots of different choices for different tastes. We really liked what we ordered. I had the ribeye which melted in my mouth it was so tender. Also had the Brussels sprouts which were delicious. My husband’s chicken dish was also great. The service was excellent. The price point is moderate. My steak elsewhere would have been much more!
Highly recommend
Great upscale restaurant in Bexley! Plenty of food choices with an attentive staff. Will definitely make a return visit.
Great overall experience! Food was delicious; service was incredible! We tried the burrata salad and grilled octopus—both had great flavor profiles. I had the New York strip and the hubs had the ribeye. Loved the presentation of each and both were tasty!
The selections, quality of food and service were excellent. I felt that the portion was on the small side but commensurate with the price. I would be willing to pay more for a larger portion. The banquet room upstairs is wonderful.
We went to Bexley Premier for our anniversary . This was our first time there. Food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back.
Great gem, wonderful find. You must check it out!
Service was excellent as well as the total experience. Food was outstanding. Great menu. Our 4th time here. Consistent.
I got to the restaurant as they opened at 5pm on a Saturday and we had the place to ourselves for a good while. Our waiter was very nice and took us on a tour of the party room. The food was fantastic and I will be back!
Amazing food, incredible service, friendly staff. I will be coming here often.
cute restaurant! this is perfect for your events to rent out! im an event planner and definitely would put this on my recommendation venue lists.
The service was excellent. Beautiful space- super clean- good food.
Katie was fantastic. Enjoyed Sunday brunch. Looking forward to coming back!
This place is VERY confused about what they want to be.
Cool ambiance at bar with backlighting and style. The dining area is upscale, but then they have a DJ playing loud music and sports on a massive screen. Then to top it off they have a cheap Chinese diner open sign in the window. Pick a niche and run with it!!!!!
Food was basic. They didn’t have one of their entrees available (chicken stew) and said they hadn’t had it for a couple of weeks. What???
I think if they decide they are an upscale bar/ restaurant or a sports bar with really over the top decor...then we might try them again...but based on our experience we don’t get the concept and will move on.
