Pratt Street Ale House
It was good, but they obviously didn't have enough staff for the convention. The food was tasty and the staff was friendly. I would go back again.
Great waitress. Sat outside on a delightful warm night.
Great food!! Huge portions too. We got nachos and a burger. Both were amazing and the fries were perfectly cooked!! Great service and cool place. Would recommend to anyone!
Our meal before a Ravens football game was perfect.
The hostess was disgusting! Never looked up from her phone, rolled her eyes and was a rude disgusting mess. The waiter was ok, but slow and didn't put our food on our table. She waited for us to grab the hot plate. We were there for two and a half hours and only had apps. They took forever and came out burned and tasted microwaved.
It was a horrible experience
The food and drink was really great. The service could have been more consistent and there could have been a little more air movement in the room we were in.
We have had great experiences in the past but they were not at all prepared for the amount of people going to the concert. It was 45 minutes to receive our first drink and crab dip. We immediately ordered another drink from the bar and entrees. 45 minutes later we had to leave to make the concern in time and I had to cancel all of the food. In an hour and a half we had 1 drink and crab dip.
Family dinner after theater
Made reservations for 5pm before a 7pm Os game. Our server and food delivery we so slow, we missed the first inning. He never checked how.our food was, and did not check for drink refreshing.
The food and service were very good, but I was not favorably impressed with the "reception". The apparent misunderstanding described below reflects inattentiveness, and thus unprofessionalism, on the employee(s) involved.
I called the restaurant about 12 minutes before my reservation time (5:15 7/16) to advise that one guest and I were delayed by traffic and would be a few minutes late. I do not remember the employee's name (it was NOT Kirsten, who called me earlier on 7/16 to confirm that I would keep the 5:15 reservation), but I told the woman that my other guest, whose name I provided, would probably arrive on time as he was staying at a nearby hotel, and I requested that he be seated. When he arrived, on time, he was told that the other guest and I were already seated, but the person giving him that information did not know the location. After my guest searched the restaurant and did not find us, he called me. I told him we were still en route and would arrive in a few minutes. When I arrived at the restaurant I asked the two women who appeared to be receptionists about my phone call and the apparent misunderstanding, but it did not seem to register with either of them.
Callie was great! Super service and accommodating. Thank you for making our meals so perfect
Not what I was expecting. They seemed to be out of everything we wanted to order, weird for a Saturday at 730pm. Not our main waiter, who was great, but his helpers seemed super annoyed at us if we wanted anything else like Ketchup or hot sauce etc. I wouldn't go back for dinner. Looked great inside for like a beer and apps. its super close to Camden so if catching a ball game would be a good tailgate i bet
Were seated at a nice table outside away from the street traffic and cooled by a nice (stiff at times) breeze. Were happy to see our favorite Greek salad on the weekly specials list for the evening, so started off with that. Salad plenty large enough for 2 to share, but definitely lacking the Feta cheese and black olives. Disappointed that salad was mostly field greens, fresh spinach was a nice addition, though. As it was Friday night, our usual pizza night, we decided to order the Margharita flatbread. We neglected to specify extra crispy at time of ordering and definitely wish we had. Flatbread loaded with mozzarella-too much for our taste-but the basil and tomato added a nice taste to an otherwise forgettable, soggy flatbread. No room for dessert tonight.
We went to the Pratt Street Ale house before the Orioles game. The Ale house is within walking distance to Camden Yards. Our waiter Oliver was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about the beers and food. I had the chicken Chesapeake sandwich, which was topped with a a lot of crab meat. Overall, our meal was amazing and the beer was cold. I would go back again.
My family (2 adults and 2, 12 year olds) enjoyed Pratt Street Ale House very much! The pretzel appetizer was SO good! And three of us got burgers and they were absolutely delicious! My husband liked a couple of the IPAs they had on tap. The service was good, friendly and attentive. If we go back to the inner harbor area, we would certainly go back here.
Very crowded. Had reservations, but it was easy to get seated once we contacted hostess. Had to wait awhile to get served. Ordered Apps (buffalo chicken cubes) and drinks. Drinks came first, app took a bit of time to arrive. NY Strip specials were ordered. Came with Broccoli. Steaks were cooked alright (medium rare), but were very fatty (maybe that's why they were on special?) Next time, will order burgers.
Great food and drinks were delicious. Less expensive than we expected.
We arrived and were seated immediately thanks to our reservations. This place was busy. We were on a time constraint for a show which we told the waiter. We ordered drinks, apps and main course. It took forever to come out, like 40 minutes for the apps. The appetizers were delicious; however we weren't able to get our main course so we canceled them. The manager did come over to apologize. We may try this place again because the apps were delicious!
The only things that we enjoyed was the service. Our waitress, Nakia ( don’t know correct spelling, sorry), was very good. The food, Howe’s, not so much. Two people in my party order the crab cakes. You get two huge crab cakes and veggies. The crab cakes were not very good and came out cold. We ended up boxing them, but when we left the restaurant, we got rid of them. Very sad because they were market price - $35 per dish. I had a chicken breast which came with rice and veggies. My veggies were cold and they forgot to include the rice. I waited a while before I saw the rice. We did order pretzels as an appetizer. Thank goodness that we did. If we didn’t, we would have been starving! We had an event to attend at the Royal Farms Arena. We also tried to order coffee and tea but the coffee machine wasn’t working and we couldn’t get tea either. Our bill came out to $140. We were shocked. Very disappointing.
Portions were large. Southwestern salad was amazing!
Came in for New Year’s Eve dinner. Never got the waiters name and for it being not very busy, waiter seemed a little rushed. Otherwise, the food and drinks were very good. Would highly recommend their crab dip! Would go again as well as recommending them to family and friends.
Bartender was friendly and quick. Not many vegetarian options, which was tough for me, but the hummus was pretty good.
Good food and excellent location for downtown events
Easy reservation before a Royal Farms Arena Concert But sandwich was was stale and chicken sandwiches were extremely dry & tasteless
Food was pretty tasty, a little pricey but in line with other city establishments. Great beer selection and service was good too. We went on a weeknight before a show at the hippodrome and were in and out with 2 rounds of beers, apps and main course within an hour!
Had dinner in their overflow section next door. Have to walk outside to get there. Lightning very bad in this section. Badly made vodka martini. Service was good though.
Beer was good.. Food had no imagination.. Hot fries was the only high point. Sandwich was bland.
Nice outdoor street seating, but indoors was rather simple and small. Service was not good. Waitress had six tables to deal with. Burger looked like a cafeteria burger, but was tender. Fries were cold - was like eating potato chips. Beer was flavorful, but not as cold as it should be. :( As our waitress was very busy, we had a hard time getting her attention. Won't go again. Will choose another place next time.
I realize this was a baseball day but the place was in a state of chaos. I was seated at the bar and 4 people combined waited in me. If you are going to be busy, staff accordingly! The burger was okay, the hostess was clearly in the weeds. Who really was my server?? Pretty average...at best.
The beer pretzel appetizer is awesome! And great cocktails and beer selection. Popular before shows at Royal Farms Arena so I recommend making a reservation.
Went to a concert
Service was great! No crab dishes available lol! That was half the menu!
Enjoyed our meal
Well I will go with the positive first, the food was very good. Now onto the negative. Our server needed to find another profession. It took 15 minutes just to get our beers and the flight was not correct. We did get our food at a not too bad of a time frame, which again was very good. We went to go pay and we each gave a credit card to split the bill. About 5-10 minutes went by and still had not gotten the check back to sign for the card. We kept seeing her running around looking confused and at one point she came back to our table looking at the table like she was looking for something. Well what she was looking for was our credit cards. She had lost them. The manager got involved and was looking through garbage cans, on the floor, etc. We needed to get to baseball game so I gave her my number to have her call us if they found our cards. (We were going to have to call credit card companies to cancel our cards) In the mean time the hostess happened to start looking and she found them laying on the wrong table. After all that mess the manager didn't even run them she said no charge and that we could leave. The manager did her best and we were grateful for her help, but we will never be back. Hopefully this waitress is not an indication on how all their staff work. She was very sweet, but the anxiety of serving just seemed too much for her. Maybe she would be better at just bussing the tables or something else that would not be as stressful. Unfortunately her inability to serve things correctly and in actively matter is going to cause us to not go back even though the food was very good.
Made early reservations before a ball game. Seated promptly. Service was adequate - nothing terrible but nothing special. Food was served hot. We both enjoyed the meal.
Waited over 45 minutes for food.
The lettuce for my salad was yellow and white. The crab cake sandwich wasn't the best.
We were attending a 4,000 plus convention across the street. I was able to make reservations for a 5PM early, and light dinner. We were seated inside promptly and waited upon almost instantly. I chose the crab flat bread with tomatoes, buratta and crab meat. Absolutely delicious and more than enough for me. My friend chose the hummus plate, which came with pita bread, carrots, and chips for dipping. Very satisfying. Later, when our event at the convention center ended, we came back to enjoy a glass of wine outside. Very relaxing.
I would highly recommend this Ale House and would patronize it when I am again in Baltimore.
The better half and I was pre-gaming the O’s game on a Saturday. We were seated at a wobbly table, which was quite annoying. We considered moving but we had a great window view and didn’t want to give that up. My hubby folded up a bar napkin and leveled it out a little. Food: I had a burger with bacon and some sort of special bbq sauce. It was delish! I ordered medium-well, it came out very well done but it was good so I didn’t complain. My husband ordered the steak sandwich. He said it was pretty good. Service: our waiter was great. He made a few suggestions for my flight (beer) and they were spot on. Overall good experience. We would pop in again if going to another afternoon O’s game.
My daughter and I enjoyed the food. Our server was so very nice. 06/23/18.
