The overall experience was a poor one this time. There was so many staff members but they honestly didn’t seem like they wanted to waste their time on customers. The food was burnt and had to be returned. But it took 15 minutes to actually find a staff member to help. The majority of the staff just ignored us. But over all there as one employee that was in a positive mood but the rest were counting the minutes to clock out. If you like chasing down staff and rude employees then your in luck. You might also want to bring your own silverware and napkins because damn you have to ask for them yo be given to you or find your own. Definitely left us with a bad taste in our mouth.

It was ridiculously loud and the servers were hard to track down. With the convention center across the street, I should have expected there to be a lunch rush of people from there but I did not anticipate it to be as bad as it was and to be forgotten by the servers. Fortunately the apps we got were decent. Extensive beer menu

Sat outside, great spot to go before the game. We had a handful of folks from different states and this was a good meeting point. Everything was good for my table and we will use this again as a spot to grab a bite before heading to a game. It was quiet enough for us to have light business discussions and I would take a client here again in the future

Food was amazing!! Brussels sprouts were really good, crab pretzel was tasty but mostly tasted like cream cheese. BBQ burger and fries were flavorful and hot. Our waiter was initially great- very helpful but disappeared for 45 minutes once we got our food and then it took (literally) 45 minutes to get our bill paid once we asked. Then, he took didn’t give us accurate change back and automatically applied a 20% gratuity for a group of just 4. Lucky for him because he definitely wouldn’t have gotten 20% after the bad service in the end. I’d return here for sure but hopefully the service would be improved with someone else!

This was a convenient place to have dinner before a show at the Hippodrome. Our server was attentive and the food was very good. One in our party ordered coffee which was quickly delivered but when she asked for cream, she was told they were out. So she asked for milk, but was told they were out of that as well. The coffee was sent back. It seems that should be announced at the time of ordering. Also, how can a restaurant not even have any milk? Would it have been too hard to have someone pick up a gallon at the closest store at the beginning of the shift? The salad also arrived without its dressing. The server sent someone else for it but was taking a long time. The original server ended up getting it herself. These are minor things but it does take away a star.

Food was good and the beer was excellent. Service left a lot to be desired. Took a long time for my beer to be delivered and server seemed rushed. Practically threw extra napkins on our table as she whizzed by, didn't come by to refill waters or check on us. Food and beer are similar to the Ale House in Columbia, but the servers there have historically been much better than what we experienced at Pratt St. It was also rather loud, perhaps mostly because of a large group across the room from us. Restaurant can't be held responsible for that, I supposed, but it didn't help the noise level or ambiance.

Food was pretty bad. Got crab cobb salad with black avacado and crab meat that had shell in every bite. Thought the crab dip pretzel app would be a slam dunk but it was completely cold in the middle. This location has a cool Irish bar vibe but the food was not great.

We went for dinner, but early, so not crowded or loud. Pretty restaurant inside with patio dining avaliable that was pretty. Had grapefruit crusher, delicious! We all enjoyed the crab dip & Brussel sprouts. The crab cake sandwich was very good & the onion rings side (extra cost) were really tasty too. Wait staff a little unattentive/slow, but know how it is these days, not enough staff & they were nice when came to the table.

Made a group reservation at 5:45pm and didn't receive food until 7:20pm. There wasn't a lot of people there especially considering that two days earlier, with standing room only due to a baseball game, we received our order within 20 minutes of being seated.
