   Booked a reservation for 2 on a Saturday night. Requested a booth in the reservation. Upon arrival we checked in and were informed no booths were available. That they were reserved for other reservations. We asked how long it would be to wait for one to become available, we were told “45 minutes, an hour, probably longer…” so we said no problem, table is fine. They took us upstairs to a wooden table with wooden patio chairs in the back corner of the restaurant (pretty much the worst table in the place). After being sat, looking around at the many open tables we asked to move to another table with more comfortable seating. The server was nice and said “sure, let me go update the host”. She came back and said unfortunately she could not move us to the other tables. They were held for reservations. - Keep in mind we also had a reservation. So we decided to leave. Upon leaving we asked the host one more time if any other table was available to us… the answer was a straight up “No”. We left. The booth request was not the issue, a table would have been fine… however, it was blatantly obvious that a party of 2 on a Saturday night did not carry the weight of a larger party and they were just trying to stick us in the back corner. We were disappointed as we’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since moving to the area, booked a sitter & made the reservation only to be let down. Will not return.

   Disappointed. Food was average at best, overpriced. Nothing overall special. News playing on patio was not ideal either

   Appetizers, arancini, were cold inside. This is so different from when they first opened. Lasagna was luke warm. I won’t be going back.

   Table reserved for four was not to be found when we arrived, on time. After we were shown to a hi-top at the bar upstairs, which wasn't satisfactory (at the top of the stairs, too much foot traffic), we opted to just sit at the bar. We could have had these seats walking in off the street without a res. Bartender was excellent, food was tasty.

   First time at Prati and was celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. Excellent food and service. Tough to find great Italian food in Jax area but Prati nailed it. The food was excellent and came out piping hot. Our server Marcos did a great job. The birthday card and dessert for the birthday girl made it even more special. We will definitely be back.

   I went to celebrate my birthday with some girlfriends and it was such a great experience! Our server was as sweet and friendly as could be. Our food & drinks were amazing! The atmosphere was just what us Mom’s needed for a night out. Will definitely be back for girls night out, again!

    Made a last minute reservation for last night and we are so glad that we were able to go to this restaurant. The restaurant is dimly lit and quiet even though it was full! Our waitress, Vanessa, was incredibly kind and attentive all evening. We ordered the margarita and a Wendy peffercorn soda which were very tasty. For appetizers we ordered the mussels and the burrata. Both were good portions and so delicious! My husband ordered the scallops and he cleaned his plate. I had the crispy lasagna and literally had to stop myself from finishing it because it was so good but I was full. I'm not sure how they get it so crispy without burning it, but they nailed this dish. We will 100% be returning!

    We had a large group for a birthday dinner and our server was great. I was given a birthday card from the restaurant with everyone’s signature. The food was homemade and reasonably priced. Will return!

    The service was perhaps the best we’ve seen anywhere. The food and drinks were delicious and the seating was comfortable. We celebrated my sons birthday and he was given a card and free dessert. Highly recommended it for when you don’t mind a slightly expensive dinner as it’s definitely worth the price.

    We celebrated my son’s birthday. The service was excellent. I had a shrimp scampi which I loved. He and his fiancé had the chicken Parmesan and fettuccine. The meatball appetizer and garlic bread were Fantastic! We will definitely be back!

    Great food! We sat outside since we had a last minute reservation but the amount of heaters kept us warm. Big menu to choose from and the godfather pizza was so good.

    We eat here often and love Chef Tom’s food. However tonight was not the usual 5 star experience. Frito Misto overcooked, pizza ok, love the lemony Caesar dressing. Hope next visit is back to our usual great experience!

    Delightfully delicate homemade pasta (ravioli especially delicious and complex) with subtle dynamic sauces. Creative, intelligent food that does not forget to be comforting and flavorful. Beautiful presentation mixed with heartfelt creation in the kitchen in an elegant and welcoming interior. We also enjoyed the inviting bar and well crafted cocktails. To recommend: ravioli with homemade ricotta and Calabrian chili sauce, the sugo house made pasta and a side of flavor packed rapini. We also started with a juicy delicious burrata, a yummy fried risotto ball whose name escapes me, and had a full-bodied Chianti Classico Reserva to compliment! So delicious and so fun. Complimenti and Mille Grazie to Chef Tom and team.

    After several good experiences in the past, this one was less than desirable. 5 people at a table that would barely fit 4. Plenty of other tables available. We had a small birthday celebration and brought a very small cake in for desert. I had called ahead to see if that was ok and was told they would do a cake service for a $10 cutting charge. At the end of the meal our server brought the cake out still in the box and asked if we needed plates. The table had been cleared, so I guess she thought we would eat from the box with our fingers. Asked for coffee, and after a long period we were told that they just finished making cappuccino and wouldn't be able to make coffee. When I said "What?", she admitted that they couldn't find coffee filters. I'm pretty sure Tom Gray would not be happy with the perormance. I expect much better service, especially considering the amount of the bill. Dinner for 5 with apps, drinks and entrees deserves better service.

    This was the 3rd year in a row that I have gone to Prati for New Year's Eve dinner, and of all of my dining experiences there, this was the most underwhelming to say the least. Food was either ok or not good. Service was spotty - I think we saw our server 4 times despite sitting in a walkway. Both appetizers and a primo were drizzled with Calabrian chile oil which made no sense. The squash agnolotti was overcooked to the point of mush and had little flavor. The 3rd time we saw our server, she gave us spoons for dessert...but we had not been served our entree! At this point, we had been there two hours. We had ordered the deep-fried lasagna well-done and we got lasagna that was simply cut from a pan - no deep frying. The strawberry semifreddo was not freddo. It was mushy strawberry goo. They comped us two drinks, but it was too little, too late. Not sure if we'll go back again. Maybe they can try to make it right...

    We really enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner. The prix fixe menu had great options overall. Husband thought the oysters were the standout. I liked both my lamb pasta as well as his spicy crab spaghetti. Short rib entree and crème brûlée also excellent. Good cocktails and service, though the pacing was slightly off - a bit rushed until dessert, but nothing too major. Thanks for a delicious evening!

    It was a prix fixed menu since it was NYE. Was not aware of that since I booked on OpenTable and that info was not mentioned. The food was good. But each service was rushed and the plates that we had finished were slow to be taken away. There were 5 of us and it became crowded quickly. Overall the food was good but the service was bit faulty.

    Bartender was completely rude, a total jerk. The server was very nice at our table and did a great job, but the food was very mediocre for the price. Two of our party got the crispy 13 layer lasagna which was burnt and they didn't eat it. The appetizers were far better than the entrees, but for the price there are plenty of other great options in the Town Center area. We will not be returning.

    The food is all freshly cooked in house with good portion sizes and reasonable prices. Our party had a range of dishes from pasta to seafood and everyone left happy. Their happy hour drinks menu was also excellent. We’ll definitely visit again next time we’re in town.

    We had a large party with 8 people. Our dinner was close to 8pm and by then they had run out of a few things. That’s why I’m rating food 4 not 5 stars. Nevertheless, our dinners were delicious and the service was excellent.

    We had three pasta dishes - shrimp scampi, ricotta ravioli and the sugo, and all of them were delicious. They make their own pastas and you can really taste the freshness. Plus, the seasoning and the doneness are perfect. The option for a light portion is something I especially appreciate. We were able to finish the dinner with no leftovers.

    Can’t say enough great things about Prati Italia. Our server Earl was so personable and helpful - he made us smile! The cocktails were delicious as was the food. We had the charcuterie board for appetizers. Lasagna and risotto were perfectly prepared. And the brussel sprouts! They are almost like candy. Dessert was comped because of my daughter’s birthday and the chocolate flourless cake was so good! The evening ended with salted caramel ice cream. We left with happy full bellies wanting to come back soon.

    Our dining experience at Prati Italia was outstanding. The food and service were great, and prices are reasonable for a dining establishment of this quality. The only negative is that the background noise level is quite high. We were fortunate to have a booth at the end of the restaurant, and that moderated the noise for us during dinner. But noise would be a problem (for me at least) if I had been seated in the middle of the restaurant.
