   I made reservations for inside, once I made it here, I noticed the band would be playing outside in the nice weather. The manager was so nice to accommodate my party to outside seating. The server was very generous as well.

   It’s a good thing we planned to be there for 3 hours for the music outside. We were greeted fairly quickly and seated at our reservation promptly. The outdoor patio is very nice, with a new covered area. The service was horrendous… seemed partly due to restaurant but mostly due to server. The restaurant appeared to assign each server tables that were spread all over instead of near each other, so this technique did not help our server, but even so, she was incredibly slow at EVERYTHING. We were a little slow to decide what to order, but when we did, she was hard to find. It took nearly an hour after arriving to get our food, and when it arrived we ordered our first drink. In the next 2 hours we saw her so few times that we managed to only get 3 drinks the entire time that we were there.. When we eventually got our bill, and it appeared that the manager must have taken off 50% of the tab. While that was a certainly nice gesture that was appreciated, it doesn’t make the service any better.

   We went to the Sunday brunch we thought we were going to see the band. We didn’t realize that we had to request special seating for that but the management went over and above they even gave us a bottle of champagne. It was a wonderful experience and their customer service is over the top. We will definitely be back again.

   Wonderful environment, wonderful food and service. The whole night was amazing. It is one of my favorite places to eat out in town. Great for both large and small parties and private dinners. I recommend their spicy ravioli, and their tiramisu is amazing.

   The scallops were delicious. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Caesar salad needed seasoning and croutons. I am baffled that a restaurant as large as this one serves canned soda instead of a fountain drink. WTH?! Get a fountain machine. There’s no excuse for that.

    We’ve never had a bad meal. The shrimp scampi was fabulous and my husband was very happy to find a gluten free chicken parm that actually tasted good. Will definitely go back.

    Prati Italia is very good, like really good. This review is in direct correlation to a special event where we were only offered one price per person. It was a six course meal for $65pp and the food was great, as always….you just didn’t get a lot of it. Our party had to split an anti pasta that was at best for two people. Seriously, each person got one olive, one small slice of bread, one slice of meat each, etc. I thought it was a mistake but the salad came out and there was only one in a small bowl. This was also shared and everyone just got a little taste. The pastas came out and then there was two bowls of each to share. The main came and it was one plate of each for four people. The waitress, who I must say was fantastic, glasses never went dry, I think felt bad and brought a double dessert to us. Again, this review is simply to advise you to call ahead for special dates as they may not have the regular menu available. The food and service were great, but a party of four out the door for $260 plus tax and tip was a bit much for what you’ll get. Go on a regular day, and get what you want. The food is really good, I’d highly recommend the gnocchi in oxtail broth if they have it.

    Less than optimal service. It was Mother’s Day family style buffet menu so foods came out family style. Server didn’t bring any side plates for appetizers and when main dishes came out forgot any dinner plates or serving utensils. Server walked off with water bottle for a refill and then forgot to come back with it. The server was nice but we kept having to ask for this stuff and then waited long time when he went to get it.

    The starters were quite nice. We got the mussels & frito misto, and we both enjoyed them. However, our main entrees were absolutely bland & lacked an ounce of seasoning! I got the spicy crab spaghetti, while my wife got the ricotta ravioli. They both arrived to our table lukewarm, and lacked flavor. The spaghetti literally tasted like ramen noodles sitting in plain water. The “spicy crab” only had a slight spice but lacked crab flavor. How does crab lose flavor!? My wife’s ravioli was subpar, and for the price of everything in that restaurant, you would think they would take more of an effort to effectively season things and present hot food. Additionally, the staff seemed to care less about our experience (two young, black, queer women) compared to all the other tables. A manager sat us at a wet table with no silverware & no menus while he literally sat another table less than 2 minutes later next to us with much better service. Our server didn’t care, yet made an effort for all her other tables. Despite their biases, we still tipped around 30%. We will never, ever come back to this establishment ever again. Save your time & go to the Cheesecake Factory down the road instead.

    Exceptional meal! The flavors and smells transported me throughout the Italian landscape. Fantastic meats, pastas and seafoods to usher in a Mother’s Day celebration with my daughters. All were very impressed and delighted. I will be back again!!!!

    I was surprised at all the 5-star reviews of Prati which is why we wanted to try it for the first time. The wait staff is excellent, pleasant, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance is not much different than the previous restaurant that occupied the space. The booth seating was all marked up and seemed a bit dirty to us. On a positive note, the Garlic bread was unusual and outstanding served with ricotta cheese and an olive tapenade. The cheese curds were tasty as well and the red and spicy sauce made them great. The Lasagna was just too noodle heavy and the cheese used did not seem traditional, possibly Fontina which gave the dish an unusual flavor. Also very little meat in the Lasagna. Guess I am too much of a traditionalist. The shrimp scampi missed the mark. The shrimp had a definite fishy taste which soured the meal and you can guess what that might mean. The person who ordered it did not finish it and did not return it either. I don't think I would order the Lasagna or shrimp scampi again if we go back for a second try. If my ratings seem low maybe we just picked the wrong dishes however it was not as good as what some people report. I cannot recommend Prati until we give them another shot.

    Our food was amazing. I had the 15 layer lasagna and it was absolutely the best lasagna I have ever had. My husband had the shrimp scampi and that was fantastic as well. Tiramisu is to die for highly recommend it went there for my daughter’s 16th birthday and had a lovely time.

    My eggs Benedict was good but not warm enough and the Hollandaise sauce was not good; it had broken up. My friend had the chicken Parmesan and said the sauce was definitely off; needed more flavor/salt.

    We went for brunch; I got the French toast. It wasn't French toast; it was bread pudding, which is fine for a dessert but not for breakfast. The description of the food was not accurate. The coffee was great, and the bacon (which I had to order as a side), but for the price not worth it. The service got better; started out great, but then our server disappeared when everyone's coffee was gone and little water left on the table. But she got better once she returned. We had not been to this place since it had been Moxie. Maybe their Italian dishes are better? Not so much for a pricey brunch.

    Ayu (I pray I am spelling her name right) was AMAZING!!!! This my birthday brunch that turned into an engagement party. I was around love & happiness and it was all our first time at Prati and I promise we will be back.
