Decent-quality red-sauce Italian food. My paglia-fieno (not red sauce) was very tasty, but other items were pretty ordinary. Good cocktails and an excellent wine selection. Based on two visits, the bar area is actually quieter than the dining area. Considering the dearth of good Italian restaurants in Santa Fe, this place is not bad but it won't knock your socks off.
Excellent food, Wine and Service— love this place. It was a rough few years with out it. Pranzo was a favorite for many years before the pandemic. So glad their back. David Smith - Los Alamos
Great food every time we go.
Great food. Slllloooooow service even taking into consideration pandemic hiring issues.
Nice service, pretty restaurant. We had enjoyed a meal there a few weeks ago and decided to take a friend there. The bread was good. The calamari was mushy and wet, the pasta pomodoro was terrible-uncooked tomatoes and garlic and my pasta was subpar. Big disappointment after our visit a few weeks ago.
The pasta was perfect! Charcuterie meat was freshly sliced and high quality, pickles were house made tart and fantastic! Beet salad was incredible and fresh, best Italian in Santa Fe!!!
The pasta was way over cooked. Overall the food was below average.
The restaurant has a parking lot! This bonus cannot be overstated in Santa Fe in January. The drinks were good and delivered without a long wait. The food was good and was delivered promptly. We'll be back.
Despite accepting our reservation via Open Table, we and others arrived to find the restaurant closed.
We made a reservation on open table and when we showed up on Sunday Jan 2nd the restaurant was closed. The sign on the door even said they were open for brunch.
It was closed when we arrived! Our reservation was accepted, someone needs to update the site on a regular 3.
New Year’s Eve meal was fantastic. We especially loved the meatball appetizer and crème brûlée dessert! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
We had pranzo do our rehersal dinner 7 years ago when we got married. They then sadly closed. The food was FANTASTIC and we are so happy they are reopened. Not the biggest fan of the new location compared to the old. Typical low roof adobe. Loved the old building with the upstairs!
The food was just excellent, as always. This is our first dining experience with them since they moved. The decor/ambience was a big disappointment, the old place was so charming. Our waiter, who was fantastic, said that they are working on that so we will be back! I have to be gluten free and they took excellent care of me. The one gluten free option was just terrific!
Fabulous meal, wonderful atmosphere.
The entrées were excellent. We have eaten at Pranzo’s many times. But the new restaurant and the food was better than what wecould remember.
We went here on our last night in Santa Fe. The food, service and overall atmosphere were terrific. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for an alternative to southwest cuisine.
Main meal was amazing. Only issue was the creme brûlée top was so burned it was gummy and tasted bitter. The waitress took it off the bill, which was nice. Waitress was attentive and friendly.
We wanted to do something special for Christmas Eve. We were seated quickly despite arriving early. Service was great and the food was outstanding.
Great good . Great service.
So glad to be back at one of favorite restaurants in town!
The staff were excellent, and the food was delicious. Dining rooms were intimate and we were seated right away with our reservation.
We had an exceptional meal and outstanding service. This is our 3 rd time back since they moved to their new location. I tell everyone I know to visit this restaurant. It is a favorite!!
This was our Chistmas Eve dinner. The main issue seemed that they were terribly understaffed which I understand was probably out of their control. The food and menu were average. We loved the old Pranzo.
It’s extremely hard to make angel hair pasta al dente. Therefore, we would have preferred spaghetti as our type of pasta as the ah was a bit glommy, yet a wonder taste. Bread was fab!
Excellent wine and pasta entrees-- paglia and salsiccia were fabulous; very good service; tasty cappuccino; only thing off was the creme brulee, good custard, burnt top. Overall, very high quality and value.
Delicious Christmas Eve lunch with good friends. Everyone loved their dishes. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive. We will return as often as we can.
We loved the service and the ambiance. They serve great wine and drinks. The pizza is excellent but the pasta dishes could be a lot better. Main dishes are excellent.
We had the beet salad and shrimp pasta, both delicious, along with wonderful bread and XVOO, topped off with tiramisu. Excellent service, too.
I was concerned about the noise level after experiencing a high level at dinner during a previous visit. Today it was lunch and the noise level was okay. Once again the food and the service were excellent and I look forward to a return visit.
A great evening. Food was great and wine list is varied to accommodate all.
Beautiful interior, kind and gracious staff and absolutely delicious food. Excellent experience and we’ll be back.
Food was good, pasta fresh, service friendly and efficient. The did I get room is stylish and it has a good vibe. It is quite noisy though.
Great value, great staff, just a little too noisy at times.
Very, very loud and noisey. Too many hard surfaces and loud voices.
Food was excellent, service was great but it was difficult to carry on a conversation because it was so loud.
As a local that went to the old Pranzo…this incarnation of Pranzo works for me! Enjoyed the vibrant energy and clientele. It was on the noisy side but not over the top! Definitely will return again. Cheers 👍🏼
We love the food but the noise level is really bad! I think they should do some
work to mitigate the problem. We will still comeback but can't really have a conversation.
Amazing food!!! Get the spinach ravioli, it was some of the best I’ve had!
Had appetizers and main courses. Both were very good and timed appropriately. Service was also very good and friendly.
