Pozzi Bistro
Restaurant was out of all good quality steaks. Flank steak substitute was overpriced and low quality. We had a reservation for a birthday so this was disappointing. Silverware was dirty which happens sometimes but waiter explained it was frosting. Was that supposed to make it ok? House Cabernet was disappointing. Salad and onion soup - starters- were delicious. We won’t go back- clothes smelled awful after we left. We were really looking forward to our meal and celebration.
We sat on the patio & it was nice & quiet. Food was great & service was even better.
This is a great experience for people who love food in a quieter environment with personalized service. This restaurant definitely rises to our "regular" list of restaurants and we will be back real soon.
Great service... wonderful local owners... exquisite food paired with great wines... casually elegant... best coffee I've had in years... amazing Cobia
Excellent experience! We really enjoyed the wonderful food and the super friendly service. I love when the owners of the restaurant come to check on the guests, we had a lovely time and really enjoyed our beautiful evening on the Pozzi patio. I recommend the Cobia and the Caprese salad, but I hear the steaks are what they’re really known for. Guess we’ll have to go back again soon to find out! 😉
Anniversary
Again another outstanding evening. Highly recommend.
Great dining experience with owners Steve & Candy. Loved the food and service. Great vibe with 50’s movies running on a large TV over the kitchen and America’s songbook songs on the audio. Great things in a small package. Go and you will enjoy!
Pozzi’s is great! Wonderful music, classic movies, great service, fabulous food.
First time visiting this restaurant. It should rate at the top of anyone’s list the food and selection was extensive as was the wine list. And the dessert was over the top. The owners were very attentive. We will become regulars
Our first time to Pozzi and we will definitely be going back. Steve, the owner was engaging and really loves the menu he puts together. The food was wonderful and Steve selected a great wine. The filet was incredibly tender and the lobster ravioli was amazing. Loved everything down to the 5 layer chocolate cake!
This restaurant was a gem and a fantastic find. The husband and wife team are both personable and hospitable. Love the ambience with Frank Sinatra playing in the background and old movie clips playing by the bar. The food is fresh and all made in house and the desserts are phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back again!
Excellent evening! Amazing food and service!
We had our 32nd wedding anniversary dinner here and it was an elegant experience in fine dining from appetizers to desserts! Entrees were wonderfully cooked to a perfect temperature and delicious. My husband loved the Tres Leche dessert and I enjoyd the chocolate mousse cake and coffee. I really liked the classic movies played on the TV screen too. The service was charming and warmly pleasant. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to all our friends and we will come here every time we visit Amelia Island.
Excellent food and wonderful service! Our party had onion soup, salads, filet, chicken and lobster ravioli. Everyone thought their meals were exceptional and delicious!
A little slice of heaven in this intimate, cozy restaurant! Definitely a hidden treasure on our Island. The Owners are delightful! The food is GREAT! And they have a wonderful wine list! A favorite spot for us indeed!
I can’t say enough good things about our dining experience. The food was amazing. Filet Mignon was exceptional, and we also enjoyed the accompanying sides (mashed potatoes & zucchini). The prosciutto e melone appetizer and the triple chocolate cake dessert also 5 star. Service was impressive, and the owner Steve greeted us, was happy to provide recommendations and made sure we were happy with everything. It was a great meal, location and really made our evening special!
French onion soup is not french onion soup.
Pozzi Bistro does not serve French Onion Soup. Our menu item is "Steve's Onion Soup" which is described on our menu and by our servers as follows: " Steve's secret sweet whole onion soup baked in its own juices." It has been one of our most popular items over the past year and a half and our customer Open Table feedback has been universally positive.
Wow, that short ribs entree was outstanding.
Everything was very good, we’ll definitely be going back
This was our wedding anniversary dinner. Hostess gave us a corner table, cozy and intimate. Onion soup was delicious, and filet mignon sliced steak entrees well made and excellent. Highly recommend!!!!!
Thank you very must for joining us. So glad you enjoyed "Steve's Onion Soup"!
Sweet couple are running this restaurant. Appetizers were excellent-Brussels and Ravioli. Desserts were melt in your mouth. Filet was good but the flank steak wasn’t. Good effort
A wonderful addition to Amelia Island! The lobster is tender and delicious. Crab Cakes had mostly crab and not full of “filler”. The owners are lovely and we look forward to many more dinners.
The food was amazing, and service outstanding!! Would love to go back again soon!
A+ on the Brussel Sprouts appetizer!
We are thrilled to have discovered Pozzi Bistro and we will return! Steve himself waited on us and it was delightful to learn his story. The homemade onion soup is a must. (Yes, I too thought that hot soup in hot Florida wasn't a great match but....you will not regret this choice! My wife got the Cobia and I had a Cobia\lobster combination. We both loved our choices. She had the five layer chocolate mousse cake and I had the apple crisp pie. Both were excellent.
Keith, many thanks for visiting us last week. Glad you enjoyed the Cobia entrees and desserts. Thanks very much as well for the compliments on the Onion Soup!!
Always excellent. The filet was tender as always, and the truffle Parmesan cheese It was worth the trip by itself.
The onion soup is amazing! It is Steve’s secret recipe and comes as a whole, delicious and tender onion in tasty broth. Highly recommend the surf and turf as well. We had a wonderful time!
Crab cakes were outstanding, very little breading just nice chunks of succulent crab meat.
One of our favorites! The owners are great and the food is always good. They have the best crab cakes I have ever eaten, including those in the NE. Wish there was a little more variety in their sides but it will not stop me from going back!
Always excellent food and great service, and everyone wearing masks!
This small and intimate restaurant is a gem. The experience was, in a word, outstanding. Had the mixed charcuterie plate (the blue cheese and the Parmesan with truffles were among the best cheeses I have ever had), and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. The owner, Steve, introduced himself and oversaw the delivery of excellent service. This was my first experience at this restaurant, and it will definitely not be the last. Well worth the drive from Jacksonville.
One Word...Excellent. We visited just not once however twice during our visit.
The menu was on point. The BEST crab cakes we have had.
Please visit and enjoy the onion soup.
Second trip this month! I love the atmosphere and the crabcakes were amazing! Great wine selection and the house made desserts cant be beat! I cant wait for my next visit.
Second visit and owners Steve and Candy so lovely.
Dinner again very good, nice wine selection also.
Until you have tried their version of onion soup...OMG. I tried to get every drop.
Awesome food and friendly service. All staff wore masks, and the the tables were spread out.
The staff was very attentive and the food was nicely prepared. The only issue was dessert. We ordered ice cream with expressio top and an apple pie with ice cream. We received 2 apple pies with ice cream an, an expresso and the Icecream with expresso topper. The waiter took off the extra expresso, but never realized we only ordered one apple pie dessert. Thankfully, it was delicious and we ate it anyway.
We will definitely come back again!
We liked the restaurant so much we went twice. We sat outdoors. Beautiful view of sunset. Off the beaten path, so nice and quiet. Crab cakes are the best ever. Charcuterie also great. Onion soup unique and tasty. Owners are friendly and do a fantastic job. Highly recommend.
Always an elegant experience. Small menu of well-prepared meals as well as occasional specials. Intimate atmosphere. Lovely!
