   The food was wonderful, the attentiveness of staff left much to be desired, it took over 30 minutes to get water, let alone our wine and beer. We could hardly hear each other speak, though the noise level wasn't a major concern of ours, it was quite distracting. Overall, a decent experience, subpar for what we've become accustomed to dining at powerhouse, but nonetheless, we will return!

   Powerhouse is a great place for special occasions! We always make a note to come here before taking a show at Walton Arts, love the people and the food!

   The food was good but the pacing was erratic. Our waiter seemed to be very good. Bar service was very slow and one beer was sent back because it was very stale. It was cheerfully replaced. It took a long time to get the starters and the entrees arrived two minutes after the starters. Two diners ate a spoonful of lobster bisque then a bite of entree. Awkward!

   We had two dinners ordered exactly the same... Steak medium and steamed veggies. But when we got the food my steak was over well to the point that I didn't even eat but a few bites. I was with a few business associates and a vendor who was picking up the bill so I didn't feel right complaining. However, the other steak was PERFECT & we lover the spinach dip and fried mushrooms!!! I guess this was a one time issue because it has never happened before.

   When we arrived we were told our table was being cleaned and would be just a few more minutes. In reality, they had overlooked our reservation, which we later found out when they came to the table and asked for our name and reservation for a third time. Food was not very good. I ordered the tilapia (fish of the day) - it came out fried, not blackened as advertised. No offer to remake. My husband ordered a burger, but got chicken. The waiter offered to take it back, but told him it would probably take a while and didn't know of he'd want to wait. Also forgot my salad and had to get it taken off the ticket. Probably won't be going back after this experience, which is a disappointment, because this was one of my favorite restaurants when we were here a couple years ago.

   Our server was quite good, attentive and personable, but while some of the food was good (crab cakes and the grilled oyster app) most was overcooked and inedible (fish like jerky, clams like hard rubber), and the price for 5 diners was over $130.00. Had the food been good that would not have been too unreasonable, but for the quality we received, that price was much too much. Because we had an event to attend immediately afterward we could not return the overcooked food, or we certainly would have done so. I suspect the restaurant would have made it right, but there was no opportunity to find out.

    I love the place. Food is Always great, the Kilowatt is to die for and the onion rings are as addictive as crack. The only drawback is that every time I use the Open Table App I get a table in the rear dining room and bar area. That section is nice, but not the same atmosphere as the front dinning section.
