With the coffee leaving people asking for more, the food will surely do the same. This is part of the whole Pourboy ethos, delivering both coffee and food without compromise.
The menu has been developed with an emphasis on high quality, seasonal ingredients. The food exhibits some of the French technique more commonly recognised in the country’s top restaurants, with a casual twist.

Eggs were cold and the pesto was too much. Creative meal all the same
Delicious food - the pumpkin and chickpea salad is a favourite. The Prosecco was lovely, light and dry. The single origin coffee was just to my taste and the service, as always, was very friendly and welcoming. A perfect venue for sharing a lunch party with friends.
Great coffee and a lovely space to catch up with friends and colleagues. I highly recommend the salads and the Benedict Carrotpatch.
Went for the bottomless brunch with a group of friends. The food was reliable and the coffees were fine.
The ‘bottomless brunch’ element was sadly a bit lacking and overpriced. Drinks were very basic.. the mimosa was mainly orange juice and when we ordered espresso martini’s were made on pure coffee syrup so just way too sweet to drink. Staff did kindly replace made on espresso, just didn’t understand why they weren’t made on that to start with given they are a coffee shop! Had drinks spilled on us...Also the weird reactive rules about being ‘monitored and paced’ and don’t ‘complain’ at the beginning set such a weird vibe for the experience..
We did the Boozy Bottomless brunch which was, to say the least trash! You pay $60 bottomless brunch for 2 hours where you get mimosas and a meal choice. The meal was a joke in fact it wasn’t actually a meal you get a burger by itself and then pay additional for sides - neither were stand out. The website says mimosas, bloody Mary’s or mocktails which we were not offered only the mimosas. You must wait for the mimosas and can only get one every 20 minutes. We sculled one and the waiter came to our table to tell us, it says bottomless but it’s not actually due to RSA (or so they say, why advertise a service you cannot provide) they have to wait and you can only have a mimosa every so often. We got one roughly every 20minutes and were not at all boozy. It was a waste of time. If you are considering going to a bottomless brunch, choose somewhere that has a decent meal and better drink options or at least, is actually bottomless with good staff. This place had how much staff and no service. You can get a better meal, stronger drinks and more in that amount of time for the same price. Wishing I went elsewhere but live and learn.
First time brunch diners. Friendly service from greeting to payment after some tasty food. My group of 5 tested a variety on the menu, and all were very satisfied.
Fantastic food and exceptional service. Will definately be back
We have dined at Pourboy on a number of occasions and are never disappointed. The food is amazing, the coffee is great and the service is wonderful.
Menu is a lot more interesting than the standard fare offered around town. Service was great.
Staff were very accommodating.
Food & Coffee were delicious.
Vibe was nice - however it was very hot in there and became uncomfortable, so we left as soon as our meal was done.
Service was great, however the food wasn’t what we were expecting when compared to the description in the menu.
For example, the lamb dish says lamb with naan and a pomegranate reduction. However it was lamb mince with cabbage and corn on puff pastry.
The waiter was lovely and did continue to fill up our drinks. Although despite having a booking our table wasn’t ready upon arrival so we didn’t quite get the full two hours.
Great 😊 food was amazing. Coffee was very good. we were very happy with our experience and will come back.
Coffee options were great, but menu very carnivore centric.
Food was lovely though and staff very knowledgeable and attentive.
Fantastic service, amazing food and great location
The food took a long time to arrive despite the restaurant not being at full capacity. There was a weekend surcharge and credit card surcharge that was not mentioned to any of the diners at my table prior to payment. After I tapped my card to pay, the amount changed to add the credit card surcharge with no mention from the cashier.
Food and coffee are the stars here and while everything else is understated this is not a bad thing. The service is attentive and the decor unassuming with clean lines and a slightly industrial theme. A great place for breakfast or lunch.
Very helpful, accommodating staff, great food, atmosphere, and location.
Pourboy was recommended by my daughter and it lived up to her comments. Easy to book on line , register and service, food and coffee superb. Well done.
Such a gem amongst South Bank. The food was lovely and the service was great. We loved that some of the money from one of our meals was donated to the Children’s Hospital-such kindness when the hospitality sector is struggling at the moment.
Lovely food and service! First time there and I’ll definitely be back.
Outstanding and very accommodating service. Friendly and happy crew. Food was great and the right price, coffee was a delight.
Good food, staff were excellent. Location very good
Great food, delicious drinks and very fair pricing
The bottomless brunch was wonderful, food was delicious and the wait staff were so friendly and helpful, so quick to get another drink and they were so good
Great service, wonderful atmosphere and food! Will definitely be recommending this venue to our friends.
Staff were lovely, food was hearty, mimosas were flowing - it was the perfect spot for a lazy Sunday brunch!
I visited on Christmas Day which I realise is probably not representative of the typicaly experience. The staff were really rushed off their feet and struggling to keep up with the number of customers, so there were long waits for coffee etc...
Coffee was great - had the cold brew. The trout was way too saucy and oily for my liking . The skin was not crispy at all and was soggy . Overall the dish described on menu was nice but the execution of it was disappointing .
Bottomless brunch is great. Would prefer more drink options to be included, and a 3-hour option.
Amazing food and service. Had a fantastic time at brunch, would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of trying it out.
Great place for brunch. Good coffee and service was very friendly.
Great spot and some fab food and awesome Bloody Mary’s!!
Service was amazing! We had littles with us and our server was super attentive. The food was wonderful as well! I loved the Cajun Chicken Burger! Even the chef came out to check on us! Great experience over all!
Nice new bistro-type venue. Good menu with some different choices. Would like to see more vegetarian or seafood options. Father's Day occasion. Unfortunately they got one of the orders wrong so rest of the group ate while one waited for their meal to be cooked from scratch. Considering special occasion would have been better to eat together. No rebate on the bill for this or offer of complimentary coffee or drink/dessert which would have been appropriate. Expected better atmosphere based on website. Was ok but would only go here for coffee not a dining experience again.
Lovely spot - delicious coffee - interesting and scrumptious breakfast options - perfect meeting place for our book club!
With views overlooking Grey Street and handy to rail & bus at Southpoint - adjacent to Southbank Train station, pourboy has very good table service and an menu based around sandwiches and wraps. The coffee is exceptional and great care is obvious in its preparation. We ordered long blacks and flat whites. All coffees were rich and smooth, medium bodied with a pleasant perfumed aroma. Our meals were also excellent with the linguini with slow cooked brisket a standout. Burgers were well priced from standard to extras added. Mixed berry muffin retained a crunchy exterior with moist interior to please all. Also open for happy hour 5-7pm on some nights (Friday certainly) as the venue is licensed with a good range of local and imported drinks.
Really nice staff and awesome sourdough toast. Great place to catch up and chat
