Food was delicious (rich), prices reasonable, service EXCELLENT, decor very attractive, but the noise volume was loud for pleasant conversation. I didn't hear background music if there was any (I did listen for it) but you wouldn't have heard it anyway. Energetic place, people of all ages, maybe not for seniors.
We will be back!
Every course, every drink, was absolutely delicious. Our server was spot on with her suggestions.
I was so impressed with the food, the presentation, the taste, the sausage rigatoni is still making me salivate 2 days later. I so wish the noise level could be controlled. We arrived at 6pm when the noise was
tolerable, but as the evening progressed it was deafening. When we couldn't continue our table conversation, it was our queue to leave. I'll go back, the food is that good, I may wait until the patio opens, maybe the noise level will be better outside.
Food is always good as was the service. As the tables filled, the noise level rose, to a rather high level. My only issue with Posto 31 and it would't stop me from returning again.
Very cute and quaint place with phenomenal and fresh ingredients. Seasonal specials were spot on. I’ll definitely go back
What a wonderful restaurant! The food was excellent! The service was exceptional!
We had a group of six on Saturday night. Excellent food. Great pastas and appetizers Service is great. Wonderful restaurant. The pizzas looked great! Will try them on our next visit!
Love this little neighborhood place! Great customer service, food and drinks.
Love this place. We wish there had been more seating options for a group of six. Maybe a few larger tables? Overall a terrific neighborhood destination!
This was our first time at Posto 31. I won't count it out and would be willing to try it again, but we were not impressed. Our server hounded us from the time we sat down. We wanted to take our time ordering and she came back to our table every 2 minutes about 10 times until we gave up. The food was fair and on the expensive side for the portions.
The meatballs!!! And we tried the new beet salad and new pasta dishes squid in pasta-amazing!!! Great service. Incred drinks. We had a blast.
The beet salad was excellent! However, was told it could not be made without goat cheese if you are dairy free. Never heard that elsewhere. Had the orecchiette pasta dish which was very good, but very rich. Wish they had potato gnocchi instead of ricotta.
We had a fun evening. Service was good. My daughters steak was well done and over salted. Almost difficult to eat.
We had an amazing dinner! This was our second visit to Posto. The steak I ordered was one of the best I have had in a long time. They use all locally sourced meats here. My wife had the gnocchi and said it was outstanding. They make all of the pasta fresh daily. The cocktails are outstanding along with the service. By far this is the best restaurant in the area.
First visit. Had a terrific waitress (becca). Spaghetti bolognese with meatballs was fantastic. Menu choices somewhat limited. Olive and cheese appetizer disappointingly small. Overall really nice place. Definitely going back
We ate here for the first time this past Saturday. Crystal was our server who was energetic and very pleasant from start to finish. She had excellent recommendations and was very thorough in her descriptions of menu items. Posto 31 was a pleasant experience and can't wait to go back to have more pasta! What a nice addition to the La Grange park area.
Food was absolutely outstanding! Will definitely go back! Salmon, Rigatoni and Steak Frites were all delicious. Becca was an awesome server as well with great suggestions and never made us feel rushed.
It was awesome, again!
Posto 21 is a contemporary little neighborhood gem. The menu offers a nice variety. But it's the pastas that take center stage - they are all made in house! And the variety of pastas at our table were absolutely delicious! Our server was energetic, knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately, the dining space does not have the proper acoustics. You have to raise your voice in order to speak to the person across the table form you.
Our pals really enjoyed their meal—it was their first time at Posto
Fabulous food. One of our favorite places!
Food always fresh...scratch made everyday. We're there 3x a month.
Definitely a bit noisy, but thats the only minor con...
iThe staff is super attentive and very professional.
Did I mention the food..best in the area.
Just yum. Highly recommend the squid ink pasta!
Great food great service, we will go back for a special occasion. Good beer list. Nice place in the LaGrange Park area.
Crystal was a great waitress and the overall service was wonderful. The food was so yummy too!
All 4 of us had the homemade pasta dishes. They were outstanding! Our server knew everything about every dish. Explained it perfectly. Can't wait to go back!
The food was REALLY good. Good bottles wine. The menu has excellent variety.
Everything here is amazing. The only issue I have is the noise level when they are at or close to full capacity. Conversation can be almost impossible. I think this takes away from the ambiance. We try to go early to enjoy the restaurant.
Great food and great service. We’ll be back.
Worst experience in several years. Bad service AND food. After inquiring whether a dish was deep fried (yes) so explained I can't eat deep fry, she let me order risotto which was mostly deep fried rice balls. That was not described on the menu. My partners chicken limone smelled like old oil. A total disaster.
I was really looking forward to this ,but was very disappointed..I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was not in that day.
A woman came over and said she was not the manager but was the senior person on that shift.
The food was awful. The pasta was cooked to mush. I had Pomodoro and the pasta was so soft I could
hardly twirl it.We had a Wedge salad with very sour Goddess dressing, and it was not a Wedge.
My friend had the Salmon. Not cooked as she had asked and at $26.00 a 4 or 5 ounce fillet was less than she expected..
We will not go back nor will we recommend this restaurant.
Food is amazing. Good service. Great addition to the neighborhood
Delicious food, and an awesome, clean environment. Service was excellent!
Homemade Pastas are fantastic. Each dish is prepared when ordered. So fresh. Everyone in our group loved their dish. We had the gnocchi, spaghetti bolognese, hamburger aioli and the ricotta appetizer. I highly recommend this restaurant.
As always the food was excellent. Friend and efficient wait staff. The smoked Old Fashion is a favorite drink. Definitely make a reservation unless you’re willing to wait. The place fills in early, especially on the weekend.
We love this place! Jason and his staff have made this our favorite go-to place! He is always improving the menu, but food is so consistent and excellent!! Thanks for coming to LaGrange Park!!
Great evening. Never rushed. Rebecca, our server was knowledgeable of the food and gluten free options, highly recommended!
My favorite upscale neighborhood restaurant. Service is friendly and attentive, craft cocktails are wonderful and the food is outstanding!
I’ve been there 4 times and every time the service ruins the experience. I kept giving them a shot because I want local restaurants to do well but the hostess simply has no clue about managing seatings and always manages to make us wait too long for a table when the restaurant is half empty. I point out the available tables but according to her they are reserved but they always remain empty even after we leave. This last time we were celebrating 3 birthdays and they sat us in two separate tables despite having 10 tables empty and available the entire time we were there. The restaurant is small and the tables were right next to where we were sitting. She ruins our experience every time. The restaurant is also quite cold and has very little ambiance. The breadsticks are too greasy and loaded with garlic, the pasta was good the first two visits but some of the dishes are getting spicy. Will not go back. It’s too bad, I love supporting local establishments.
Wonderful place! So glad we found it. Food was delicious and wince choices were the best!
The food and service was wonderful. It was an overall excellent dining experience.
