The food was very disappointing and the wine and drinks were severely overpriced. I was sick all night after eating the Lazyman's Lobster and my wife could hardly chew the beef dish she ordered.
Food was good... was expensive. Nice atmosphere and view.... great service... would return.
Joseph was fantastic. We greatly enjoyed our meals. He was catering to our needs judiciously. Such a gem. 10/10 rating for this guy.
We always enjoy dining at Post 390. The servers made an extra effort to get us out in time for our theater curtain.
Our birthday dinner was fabulous! Great food, nice ambiance and our waiter, Chris was awesome! He knew just what to recommend and timed our food and drinks perfectly! Thanks for a great evening!
I GOT ENGAGED! The staff helped my boyfriend and didn’t give the secret away. I was blown away!
Joseph was a great server.
Joseph was amazing! He was so attentive and helpful with the menu. We were stuck between doing dine out Boston and the regular menu and he answered all of our questions.
The service at Post 390 is excellent. We enjoyed Dine Out Boston upstairs and had a delicious meal.
Went for restaurant week and had a great 3-course meal at a very reasonable price. All the items we ordered were great, from appetizer to entree and dessert. The banana cream pie in particular was spectacular. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
Went during restaurant week, nice selection of options. The restaurant has a large second floor, so might be easier to get a table last minute, than at some of the more petite restaurants around Back Bay/South End.
This place just never disappoints ... and so, another great reviewfor Post 390.
Kelsey, Bartender, is a master behind the bar! I have been ordering drinks from Her and the rest of the bar team for at least a year now and have never had a bad drink or bad service. She is just such a happy person and the passion really shows. Shewill literaly "bend over backwards" to make your dining and drinking experience memorible! Visit Kelsey and the rest of the team at post 390 for a fantastic experience!
Thanks guys! See you soon :)
The menu did not match the online menu. It felt like bait&switch. Also, the waiter was all too happy to spend time with a table of five women. I simply feel this restaurant is homophobic.
Relaxed, elegant, refined. Thank you
Even though high-top reservation (downstairs), was sat a standard table upstairs. Still enjoyable but wonder why
Over it was a good meal. Service is outstanding!
Food is a bit overpriced. Steaks were very expensive. The Fish was very small for the price and a can of beer was as much as a whole 4-pack. A bit noisy.
The service made up for most if the negatives.
Post is a great restaurant especially before a Lyric Theater play. It’s a bit pricey. But three things put it over the top this time. The pork chop, wonderful; the sides, tempura beans and smoky sweet carrots; and the service, Nina was terrific pacing the meal and just the right level of attentiveness
Joseph was phenomenal and exceeded all of our expectations. He was a fantastic waiter and we cannot wait to come back soon. Please tell him thank you for providing us with fantastic customer service.
Excellent location, and we noticed a marked improvement in the food from our last visit, which was probably a year ago. The staff did a great job and were informed ahead of our special occasion. We really enjoyed our evening.
Like the corner table on ground floor
Excellent experience. I would be happy bringing my family back here or a group of friends.
Love it here, the Jalepeno burger was great! Awesome
In general, we like Post 390, but the last couple of times the service has not been good. I think they need to do a better job of training the wait staff. On last two visits, I had to get up from my table and go looking for the wait person. That should never happen!
Hello Bob, I'm sorry to hear we didn't provide you with the foundation of successful hospitality - service. Each guest that comes and dines with us deserves to feel like they've been taken care of. We failed you. Please know that I am sharing your review with our team as we continue to work on our craft. Please ask for me when you are next coming in so that I can make certain to take care of you. Kind Regards, Isaac Josephson General Manager
Food was good, but service was slow.
Our server wasn’t very attentive. When I asked where my beer was she said they had to go to basement I get it. I shouldn’t have to ask. Both of our drinks were long gone before she asked if we wanted another.! Other then that she was ok.
