Easily, the worst meal of my life. The amuse bouche was a lukewarm piece of Ahi with a giant piece of pickled ginger on top that overpowered the fish. That was followed by an incredibly bland pea puree soup (no salt and pepper on the tables) that had the consistency of baby food. The next course, grilled octupus, was terribly chewy, moreso than octopus usually is. The dill pumpernickel bread had promise, but it was also served at a lukewarm temperature. The piece de resistance was anchovies served over burrata cheese. The anchove juice seeped into the cheese so when you at the two together, or individually, what you tasted was probably the most disgusting thing I've ever put in my mouth. Think about it because I can't get it out of my head. I was given a palate cleanser at the end that was so overly bitter, I thought someone had frozen lysol on a stick and served it as a lollipop. By the end of the night, I wondered if I was being punked or on some hidden camera show because all of the dishes were so poorly prepared. Just a complete disaster in terms of flavor profiles, common sense, seasoning and simple execution.
