   The food did not taste fresh, nor was it tastey. Portion size was excellent, but who cares if you don't want to eat what's on your plate. The cocktails were really poorly balanced in flavor. A huge disappointment given that the place is a distillery. One would think that the cocktails would be a highlight to showcase the products of the distillery. I was hoping that the server could make recommendations for drinks based on relayed preferences, but the server barely spoke to our table all night.

   Enjoyed happy hour here. I also did a gin tasting. The cool part is that if you decide the buy a bottle the price of the tasting goes toward the price of the bottle. The coconut shrimp and fries were quite tasty too.

   Our waiter was amazing!! There were four people in our group and it was a bit difficult to talk because the music was pretty loud. There were many choices for the food and it was good.

   We always love the salads at Portuguese Bend. This time we got the fired zucchini as an appetizer and it was very good. The team was great and very attentive. We always enjoy our experience at this restaurant.

   The food and service were excellent. Unfortunately we ate inside and the music was deafening. We were a large party (8) but we were unable to converse with each other. Choose a table outside and enjoy the delicious dishes, fantastic drinks and great service.

   Great location and easy to park in parking close by. We really loved their distilled drinks, food and our server. It was an awesome place to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. They made him feel special! We'd definitely recommend - Tasty drinks and food. Excellent Service!

    We had a fabulous time on our first visit to this excellent restaurant. We were greeted by our personable waitress who quickly moved an umbrella to shade our outdoor table and continued to make our experience memorable. The menu had an extensive selection of imaginative dishes, and we were each thrilled with our choices. The zucchini sticks appetizer was the best version we have ever eaten. My daughter loved her shrimp and grits: large shrimps seasoned perfectly & not too spicy, and a generous serving of delectably creamy grits. My husband loved his coconut curry salmon, and my pecan-crusted salmon was out of this world--crispy pecan crust plus a slightly sweet sauce that was divine! Another plus is this restaurant is only about 5 minutes from the Aquarium of the Pacific, so will be a regular treat for us on our visits from L.A.

    Great distillery and definitely a must go to. Got the tour by the owner and was interesting to find out how they distill the various spirits. Amazing! The flights we tried of vodka, gin, whiskey and rum were delicious. Will definitely go back!

    Phenomenal experience. Top notch food, atmosphere, and wait staff. Have been here multiple times, and every time is an amazing experience all around. I always take my out of town guests here, as the food is always superb. Definitely a lifetime customer!

    Open door is the problem here. They let me book a 15 min reservation! Which I was unaware of until the restaurant called me the day of the reservation to let me know they would close at 8. The reservation was for 7:45. Open door sucks.

    Uncrowded at 1:30 pm lunch. Nice interior and outdoor patio areas. Very good server. Comfort food menu if higher than usual quality of ingredients and preparation. Recommend Southern Fried Chicken and the best sweet onion rings. Nice cocktails, most made w in-house distilled spirits. Bought a fifth of their Donna Rosa gin infused with hibiscus juice.

    First time to Portuguese Bend Distillery...wow, the cocktails and apps were PERFECT! Too bad we already had a dinner reservation at Michael's Downtown otherwise we would have stayed for dinner. We will definitely return to PBD for a full evening.

    Great location, reasonably priced wonderful food, tasty specialty drinks and superb service. We will be going back on a regular basis. Also, convenient parking garage adjacent to restaurant, 1st two hours were free.

    Last minute reservation from a group of people visiting- great drinks, good food, good service. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, but we don't really know the neighborhood.
