   This restaurant is such a fabulous neighborhood gem. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. The restaurant is beautiful and offering outside dining when it is warm is fantastic.

   This was my second time at Portola Bistro. The first time was quite lovely. This time did t measure up.

   Took 1 hour and 20 minutes from being seating to getting our food with the only apology as the waiter gave us our check. Seems like Mothers Day was a bit too much for them. Food itself was ok. Can’t order spirits at this restaurant, presumably they don’t have a license

   It was our first visit for brunch and we liked it. The ambience is pretty, the service was nice and the food was good. There were a few misses, for example, the avocado toast was underwhelming, the bread for the bruschetta was a little tough, but the calamari was good, as was the French toast and the rigatoni alla vodka. Overall, it was a positive experience.

   Excellent food and wine again as usual. Generous portions for my wife and I. Waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines and current food selections.

   I took some neighbors to celebrate our friendship. It was great all the way around (except it got a little loud, but not unexpected). We’ll go back. The Branziano was fabulous. We all had it and all agreed.
