We were celebrating a birthday.
outstanding restaurant and food, service is great and staff works very hard to make sure you have a wonderful time
All of the meat was amazing, but the Harvest table was lackluster. Service was quick and waitstaff was attentive. Decor is a little dated, but not bad. Make sure you mention their summer special immediately upon sitting down otherwise they won’t honor it after you have your first cut of meat.
As usual the experience was awesome. The managment took excellent car of our party.
Most of the meat was not as tender except for the bottom and the top sirloin which were very infrequent to serve. Salad bar is somewhat limited compared to larger Brazilian steakhouses like fugo de chao. However this place has its own small business charm and is well run under family ownership.
Always so good and excellent service. Looking for good food try Porto Du Soul.
Food was ok. Great cuts of meat but all just very salty. We had poor service though on a not busy night.
We went earlier in the evening. The cold bar food was varied and fresh. The hot bar food was a mix of authentic Brazilian food and some staples like mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The food on the hot bar was rotated but still appeared to dry out quickly.
The meats were all tender and juicy off the skewers.
The wait staff was extremely attentive including the owner and his wife.
It was a great experience overall
Only one minor complaint, when attempting to close the hot buffet containers, they tended to stick and slide towards one instead of closing. Was difficult to hold a plate of food and close them at the same time
The staff is always so friendly and accommodating and the food is fantastic! Thanks for the perfect date night.
Service was great. Food was awesome, lots of different sides and meats. Very unique experience.
Food & ambience were excellent!!!
Waitress took a long time to bring my bill and I had to go up front to pay because it was taking so long (10-15mins). There were only 6 tables with diners during this time. Could have been a new waitress or just a slow waitress...but everything else was outstanding!!! Still 4 Stars from my family & I!!!
Great experience. Awesome service, great food, unique experience. Love to visit this restaurant.
Food did no meet expectations for the cost. Need dinner options like a sampler platter or salad br only. Service was good
This is out second time out to this restaurant. This time we got there at open for dinner. And the food was delicious. And the service was very good. Granted we were the only ones there at this time. But it did not differ from the first visit which was during a more prime dinner time. The food was the best still and we will be going back on our next special occasion. It is pricey at ~45 dollars for the full experience per person. But once you start to taste the meat you understand why. It is worth every penny.
Perfect all the way around
It would be nice if they place the list of meat for a full rodizio like they have a list of the ten meats in a lunch special. They only have pictures of meat for the full rodizio. Sort of deceiving the clients.
Everything was really enjoyable - a wonderful dining experience.
The food is very good. Lots of great tasting meats. The harvest table is incredible, I really enjoyed the salad and the veggies were incredibly fresh. The service is the best I’ve ever seen. Packed restaurant and I felt we were their only customers. But, the cost is a bit high for me to go there more than a couple times a year.
The Servers did an amazing job. People that really made you feel pampered!
Also, best Beef at a Brazilian Steak house in the greater KC area.
The meat selection was excellent. I think they are lacking in the cold and hot side options. There's not much attention given to those areas of food.
Had a lovely birthday dinner. Wonderful service and attention to detail. Red Sangria is the best anywhere... So good! Highly recommend!
There was a party of about 15-20 people and then just us. So it was kinda weird, but the food was amazing and the staff really friendly. It was a perfect place to spend our 13th wedding anniversary.
You are our favorite!♥️♥️♥️♥️ Thank you for being a place we can come when family gets together and have a great memory to keep.
This event was to celebrate my parent's 50th Anniversary. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. The food of course was delicious but the staff is what really helped to make the event a memorable one! Thanks Porto Do Sul for everything!
Best restaurant we ever ate at. Service was outstanding. The meats were excellent and just kept coming to our table. We were very impressed with the food!!
My only complaint is that they allow babies and young children. I have children and I left them with a babysitter. I don’t think it’s appropriate to allow kids you don’t pay for in the restaurant. If people are willing to pay $22 for the babies and young children then they should be allowed. Otherwise, they shouldn’t.
Had a nice evening, can’t wait to do it again.
There were not many choices of meat. I have been to many Brazilian Steakhouses and this was not best experience. I was disappointed but at least there is a Fogo de Chaos in MO I can drive to if I must entertain guests again.
Great attention to detail, quick service and awesome variety of meats... love it
Meat was very bland, nothing was delivered to the tables except the meat. The meat selection was very basic and they didn't have that many! Would definitely not go back!
Our server disappeared, we had to go up to the bar to get our drinks, had to go ask for our check, and take the tab back to run my card. Food was okay. If you’re charging $50 per person it needs to be a much better experience.
Porto Du Sul is definitely priced in the 'For Very Special Occasions' range, but it is a fun experience, and everything we ate was very good. The only problem was we got full way too early!
This place has fantastic food and great service! I enjoyed it quite a bit!
Waiter was on point very friendly, polite and always around when need it.
I have been to Porto Do Sul twice now. The first experience was nothing special, but was not the disappointment my second visit was. The waitress was horrible. We had to flag her down anytime we needed anything and she was slow to bring the requested item. The servers that carry the meat around somehow avoided us for almost 20 minutes in the middle of dinner. (yes, the little card was flipped to the correct side). When food was offered, it was usually chicken or pork. After about 45 minutes I decided to start requesting the cuts they had not offered my table yet (Picanha, Filet, Ribeye). About 15 minutes later, they offered me the Picanha and Ribeye. (We had a chanced to talk to a few other tables and they had similar complaints about the meat being brought around.) Finally, we ordered dessert. I ordered the chocolate molten with vanilla ice cream (we ordered this during our first visit as well). The waitress brought me a dish that had strawberry ice cream and a cold slice of the chocolate mousse cake. I flagged her down and asked her to confirm she had brought me the correct dish and she said it was the chocolate molten. I asked her why the ice cream was strawberry and the cake was cold then. She said they were out of vanilla and they probably forgot to microwave the cake... All in all, it was embarrassing that I chose this restaurant to take my Mom out to for Mother's Day.
Food was ok. Some of the meat they offered was dry. Chicken was delicious.
Environment is nice.
Service was poor.
Given I visited on mother’s day and I know on holidays it can be quite hectic, the service level at this establishment is ridiculous. At first arrival there’s was no one greeting and putting names on list, I had a reservation anyway and it took a good 5 minutes to be acknowledged, and when acknowledged the hostess seemed very very disorganized and flustered. Upon seating, nobody greeted our table for 7minutes. Had to ask someone for water, again took a long time for water. It was my first visit to restaurant, didn’t know quite how it worked again nobody came to table to explain. When I finally got a servers attention she stated they all work as a team and I asked for an ice tea with sweetener and received ice tea but no sweetener and asked several times for sweetener and never received any. The food itself was tasty and good quality. I feel the amount of money I paid for my meal was not worth the service I received. I’m unsure if I will be visiting again or recommending.
We come her about every few months and the food and atmosphere is always awesome
The food is always excellent. The service outstanding, the ambiance is relaxing and owners always friendly and willing to go above and beyond
We have never had a bad meal or experience here and this time was no different. Quality of food and the ambiance are excellent and the owners, Edson and Leonice, are wonderful and kind. Service is consistently attentive.
