Porto never disappoints - the food is outstanding and the service impeccable. Love, love, love it!
This would have been an excellent experience if not for our server, if we could have eliminated the service charge we would have done it, tipped less than the twenty percent.Joe needed to be reminded of our wine order and a cocktail order (that wasn’t prepared like the first one that was ordered)not his fault, but when it wasn’t consumed didn’t question us if there was something wrong.
However, the food is excellent. The kitchen deserves all the accolades. All of the dishes were shared and the servings were generous.
Seems a better place for drinks and a bite, not dinner. Service was casual and not very good - from the initial greeting, to drinks, to dinner, to dessert.
Delicious creative food. Great service and ambience.
My friend and I both loved our meal at Porto; we started with oysters and for dinner shared the scallop ceviche, shrimp in terra-cotta, and the pan-roasted halibut; we also shared a lovely bottle of Crémante. Everything was delicious (though we ranked the ceviche as the best of the trio of small plates; presentation was delightful; service was excellent—speedy and pleasant, not hovering or rushing. The atmosphere was casual and stimulating at the same time, with a wonderful vibe attributable to a house full of folks enjoying truly marvelous food.
Really nice vibrant dining room vibe! We had a rare date night and wasn’t sure if we’d be out of place going to Porto (two 40-something folks going out for our first date night in a looooong time). The meal was fab, the ambience was fantastic - just dim enough lighting, laid back setting (really felt like a nice expansive dining room - we were in a smaller area behind the bar) and great service all around. All in all - a great value. Good to see Porto thriving and even at Logan Airport, no less! Bravo.
My friends and I really enjoyed Porto. Overall, the meal was tasty (a little salty for my taste but the rest of the group didn't notice) and the drinks (cocktails and wine) were all excellent. This isn't an inexpensive place so come prepared to spend if you're going to do cocktails, wine, apps, entree, and desert. We had an excellent time and the service was some of the best I've received in Boston. I would definitely recommend.
We keep coming back to Porto. The menu is a changing tableau of fresh tastes and flavors that can be shared. Service is professional and friendly. And the $1 oyster special in the early evening is a lot of fun. Looking forward to sitting outside in the spring!
Nice time getting together with friends post holiday. Small plates were excellent to share. Paella was excellent
Our server who was also the PM Bartender was incredible and he made the night for our party of 10.
Happy New Year, we will be back
Just not sure why it is that very few Boston restaurants realize that the acoustics matter for the 60+ set. Maybe they dont want that business....but if you own a place that has high ceilings and lots of glass and go through the effort of putting up drapes and rugs to make it easy for patrons to have a conversation....do not turn up the background music so loud that its not possible to hear one another. Otherwise...love the place.
Porto always delivers incredible cuisine, varied menu options and great service. Never disappoints.
Good food. With a few people dining together you need to order many “small plates” for sharing to get enough to fill everybody up. The portions are fairly small, the taste and quality is exceptional.
A go to for us. Dinner was very good - lamb chops are excellent, as it the meza platter. Great waiter Frankie!
Unremarkable Jody. So disappointed. Cold, drafty, spotty dish quality and all together an uninspired experience
The food quality, service and new menu are fantastic. And the $1 oysters were a fantastic treat.
Always a really enjoyable treat to visit Porto.
Thanks to Jody and her accomplished team!
Great food and excellent service from a Alex
Great food, terrible low lights and noise
The food is incredible. We would eat the halibut weekly if we could. It is just superb. We have yet to eat anything that wasn't prepared simply and yet with the most exquisite flavors. Sometimes the noise leve is high, especially when seated next to a larger party.
Unfortunately, the restaurant could not redeem my OpenTable points. Otherwise, the food and service were both great!
Poor, lackluster service combined with spotty execution in the kitchen left us feeling unsatisfied and over charged. I feel sad for any tourist who ends up here out of lack of creativity. Better off going to Eataly if you’re going to eat in the Prudential.
We were staying in the area and was looking for a place to walk to from our hotel. Found Porto and knew Jody Adam's other place Trade so took a chance and happy that we did. Stuck with shareable plates which is most of the menu. Had brussel sprouts with a yogurt based sauce that was excellent. The mussels sounded weird as it had buttered chick peas but glad we tried them. Mussels were big and plump and the broth went well with chick peas. A skirt steak offering was perfectly cooked. The place was pretty empty when we were there so very quiet. Service was attentive.
A tapas-style restaurant where minty-lemonish spices make chicken and falafel sing out loud, and seafood gets a surprising twist of Mediterranean sunlight. Excellent!
Absolutely fabulous- didn’t expect it to be so good- goid was innovative and quite tasty— big thumbs up👍👍👍
Something for everyone! Great small plates- lobster lettuce wraps: amazing, skirt steak: perfect for the meat lovers, best Brussel sprouts ever! Tables and seating a bit cramped, but otherwise a great dining experience!
Rushed! Undercooked paella. Disappointing as my friends were from out of town and did not expect to be rushed.
Wait staff was great; I think the chef/kitchen rushed the sequencing of apps and entre.
Loved the food and the service staff! A bit pricey, but for such a great meal in Boston, what the heck! As far as the food, the Meza platter was so good, but the seafood paella was fantastic!
Amazing food as usual and a great spot for a date or girls night!
Excellent meal, good service
Great food, great service, comfortable atmosphere. Terrific place to end a wonderful day or begin a terrific evening in Boston.
Very bland. Not bad but wouldn’t say necessarily good.
Halibut was overcooked, pasta was clumped scallops were overcooked, some mussels weren't cleaned well and had some small shells in my seafood pasta. Drinks were and server was good
Food was very good, and waiter was also good, but servers are rushed
Suffice it to say that my husband & I cannot wait to go back to Porto. Everything- Everyone was fantastic! We couldn’t believe how rapidly the delicious foods came out, just as we’d ordered.
Kudos to all & most especially to Alek, our outstanding server!!!
P.S. We were in for a pre-concert dinner on November 9th.
We love dining at Porto! Excellent food, service and environment. The Mafalda pasta is awesome, as are the falafels and brussels spout. Great oysters as well!
The halibut is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. Simple, pure, flavorful delight!
We had a great meal with our team, but the service was not so great. Our waiter took the drink orders of a few people then left, came back and took a few more, left, then we had to ask him to take the last person’s drink order. Took several asks to get the check. Nothing terrible just kind of strange, especially for such a great restaurant.
The food is fantastic but the place is so loud that you can’t have a conversation with people at your table. They need to fix the acoustics!
