Porto boasts a large and beautiful heated patio space with a retractable awning and sides in the middle of Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. The menu is inspired by Coastal Mediterranean selections with a focus on Italy's coast. Porto is located on Ring Road in Boston's Bay Bay, steps from the Prudential Center and Copley, next door to Saks Fifth Avenue.

Enjoy a lively meal in either of Porto's well appointed dining rooms, or indulge in a casual meal at the bar or kitchen counter seating, overlooking the oyster bar and open kitchen. Porto's one-of-a-kind outdoor patio and bar overlooks Ring Road with Boylston Street views, and serves as a Mediterranean oasis, right in the heart of Back Bay.

Wow! We had the opportunity to sit at the chef’s counter! Watching Chef Josue Louis expedite one 5-star dish after another was better than being on the set at Food Network! He’s a true professional, poised, polite, passionate and a gift to this restaurant! Ned Hajduk, the GM, product champagne for our anniversary and server, Miguel took care of our every need. We started with the roasted cauliflower appetizer. It might be the best thing on the menu! The flavors were outstanding. We shared the snap pea salad, equally delicious. My husband devoured a spicy chicken entrée while I enjoyed the Bolognese. We live in Dallas, Texas and see a lot of good restaurants, but this is a new Boston favorite!! My only suggestion would be to lose the fake bougainvillea flowers outside! Our experience was a 10 out of 10.

We sat outside and it was a fabulous night. Great service, food was outstanding. It was a table of 8 so not easy to serve. We would happily go back again!

Great experience overall. We shared a bunch of apps and several pastas for the table. Everyone had their favorite one but each was very good.

This place never falls short of amazing. Great friendly service, cozy and elegant. The food speaks for itself. Ned and Josue always go above and beyond. We always return again and again.

Food was overpriced for the portion and quality. Service was lacking but that may have just been our server. Ambiance was fantastic. Probably only worth it to go for drinks.

I seriously loved this place. The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I was sharing a dish with someone, and instead of just handing us an extra plate, they actually brought it out already split into two portions. Both were plated so nicely, and it felt really thoughtful. Our waiter was the best. He was kind, attentive, and made the whole dinner feel really comfortable. We were obsessed with the eggplant, and the chef even came out to say hi, which was such a sweet and personal touch. Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious. I’m not just saying that. Every single thing we tried was full of flavor and really well done. The ambiance was super cute too. For a moment, it actually felt like we were in Italy. It was such a great experience overall, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
