We are regular customers. Tonight we had a group of 10 for Mother’s Day. Our server Megan was spectacular and did a great job and did what she could to mitigate a poor situation. We ordered our food and then were subjected to a 40 to 60 minute wait. Our food arrived sporadically with some of our group finishing their meal before others had even received their meal. Some meals were under cooked. Medium well cooked beef tenderloin should not be bleeding. Putting it back on the grill after it has been cut only serves to toughens it up. My Greek Salad with my meal arrived looking like it was prepared the day before and for an establishment with usually excellent salads it was disappointing. Our experience tonight can simply be summed up as awful. The Portly Piper we were at tonight with exception of our server was not a Portly Piper we recognized.

Came for Mother’s Day with 7 people. Service was great , our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean, good for sports nights, or gathering with friends. The menu is way too big and this may be why the food is quite average. The burgers tasted chemically, the goat cheese wrap had 3 pieces of thin grilled chicken in each piece and the wrap was full of spinach. It was more of a veggie wrap. The Brussel sprouts were good but the soup of the day tasted like canned soup . Their side house salad was good with lots of toppings and fries were good. I think this place is good for pub food like chicken fingers , wings, nachos, apps. The rest of the menu needs a revamp and have less options, so there is more time spent on the quality of food. Would I go back ? Yes, but only if we were looking for basic pub style food. Oh the drink menu is great though . Lots of options!

My friends meal was order with all of our orders and then they asked.. are.you waiting for something when he didn't have any food come out.. they didn't put his order in or it got skipped. Didnt offer anything or the wait. Should have given him a.larher salad to eat while waiting for his meal course

Was probably one of the worse experiences we had. I booked for a party of 30 and was very specific that people would be coming and going throughout the night. Our server changed several times. It was a busy night ( AFC championship). At 8 we were told the kitchen was closing and that they close at 9, for a staff Christmas party. No problem, staff works hard they deserve a party. It would have been nice to know this when we booked as other plans could have been arranged. ( I called the venue after I made reservation to make sure they are okay to accommodate, open table couldn’t have known the venues plans to close that night). Not a very good experience as we felt rushed and most of the time forgotten about.

Service was outstanding even to the point of extra assistance I securing gluten free entrees and apps the food was ample and well presented we couldnot add for better experience
